| Oct 7 05:51:06 | The Harvester | ♥ 0 | I like a lot how it looks, walking animation is great and took me a bit to realise its not simulated at first. But there is something wrong with collision - I would randomly get stuck between buildings. Also enemies sometimes spawn right under you. Would love it to have some sounds and a bit better collision mechanic. (kudos for not using any of mainstream engines btw!) | |
| Oct 7 06:40:11 | 49m 05s | Trash Dash | ♥ 1 | Interesting choice of making different pictures for different position of the truck! Most of the times I could just ram cars with no damage recieved (felt like it might be a bug) - only lamp posts and building were issue and I didn't feel much difference with break power/turn power etc - I continued to feel sluggish through gameplay even after I leveled all to 2. Game blackscreened on me on itch after. It felt like the only way to play for me was to move all the way to the right, then back and repeat - turning and trying to grab garbage elsewhere felt really hard for some reason. |
| Oct 7 07:26:06 | 45m 55s | Broke Custodian: From Dust Till Display | ♥ 1 | win.png It gets a bit repetitive with multiple clicks per day, but it was quite fun! Sold poop for good profit, would do that again. And again :D |
| Oct 8 06:31:07 | 23h 05m | Truth Collector | ♥ 1 | Nice art! I found that sometimes I would skip dialogue too fast by clicking, thinking it starts dialogue though.. Stupid habit from other games! Would love ability to read what was said prior 'I spend ... coins on this' to think it through. |
| Oct 8 06:56:25 | 25m 18s | Gibberwave | ♥ 1 | Finished the game. Timer sometimes felt a little too short to read all the options. It was easy for kids, but there was this phylosopher that I managed to do exactly 0 clues on time. Others I just recognized patterns and was clicking those without thinking. Other than that - quite an interesting entry with nice characters! |
| Oct 8 07:03:13 | 6m 48s | Greg gathers ghosts because that's what he loves the most | ♥ 2 | This is SO hard tho... omg. But music is catchy, while gameplay loop is understandable and fun. A bit better feedback on getting hit and its golden, I think! |
| Oct 9 21:05:55 | 38h 02m | H.E.N.R.Y the Head Harvester | ♥ 1 | Those guys with swirly attack were annoying! Sometimes felt that I could stand way off from the hit circle, but sometimes I had to be right inside them from behind to actually able to hit them. It was the only real issue I encountered - otherwise it was quite fun experience! Felt like updates indeed would fit right in, but it was good even without them! |
| Oct 9 21:20:05 | 14m 10s | Goblin Lord's Dream | ♥ 1 | Third game is a strange one... the difficulty was not only lazers hitting instantly (or almost instantly) so its RNG if it hits you or not, but for some reason sometimes my blob just would stop responding on any input. Spend some time trying to finish it, but between rng of lazers hitting right as they appear (no chance to respond half of the times - sometimes they actually hit BEFORE even they appear on screen too), and blob freezing at seemingly random moments - I couldn't finish it. I think, maybe my PC is to blame - maybe frames too high and that is what causing instant lazer shot (I had problems like this before in jams, so it is quite possible!). Also I have high resolution screen, so texts were tiny! Its common issue for jams for me - but worth noting for future projects! Try to scale texts, instead of setting certain number. It may cause all sorts of issues like texts offscreen etc (it wasn't the case here, but achievement windows were so tiny - i couldn't see text at all and barelly saw them popping up haha!) But making 3 games in one is a huge ambition! Kudos for that! Music and art were on point too :) Really interesting aproach to theme too! |
| Oct 9 21:24:35 | 4m 30s | Host Collector | ♥ 1 | Oh that POP sound was funny :D its too short omg! Wanted to play some more. Really cool concept of the gaining abilities and solid fondation for something bigger! |
| Oct 9 21:33:35 | 9m 00s | Sewer Collector | ♥ 2 | Now I understood your comment on our game hahaha! There is some kind of strange visual bug (?) where hand goes to block and then it goes all the way down to the ground? I am not sure if that is intended, but looked funny! Music is just right for the fighting game! Reminds me of old ones a lot! Only way I beat AI is by just mashing one button and hope that it will work. TO BE FAIR. That is also how I was beating everything in fighting games all the way back too... |
| Oct 9 22:08:09 | 34m 34s | Gemwright | ♥ 1 | That was oddly addicting. Was engaged till the end, and was not really efficient (wasted lots of days learning tricks), but got all 5 in 47 days! So far, this is my favorite with no real contest - I forgot it was jam game and compo at that! win.png |
| Oct 10 07:35:57 | 9h 27m | Afterlife Debt Collector | ♥ 1 | I liked idea of puzzles based on bodyparts! Got the money... not sure if I can get past big bad though! Only saw his legs and got oh-oh-ed! Diaglogues were great, but I skipped one by accident when I shot my first demon (I was spamming and instaclosed dialogue because of it). Maybe instead of any portion of the screen as skip - a button? Not sure how it would be best to prevent accedental skips. Other than that it all went smooth enough! Had fun while playing it, thanks :) |
| Oct 14 08:51:28 | 97h 15m | Vault of Stars | ♥ 2 | I really loved how it was all drawn. That and music really tighten it all together it was a quite calm and relaxing experience and thank you for that! Puzzles were easy and engaging enough, once I figured out what needed to be done and how to achieve it. I freed all the stars and left collector raging :) |
| Oct 14 09:12:20 | 20m 52s | ASTRO JAMS | ♥ 0 | I think ship should have one update at least at the start... first instrument takes a bit of time to find and half of the screen is with ui that doesn't make sence until you found at least one instrument to play with. After 10 instruments arrow disapeared and it was quite hard to find the rest. I found couple, but it was a bit of pain to navigate without any sort of map or radar - anything to help navigating would be a huge help! Nice aestetic of drawn and cut pieces too. Though collision is only taking speed in account. Got 50% of my shields down from small particle hanging around! Its really hard to maneuver, but again - some kind of radar or anything that would help me to see the obstacle waaaay before it appeared on my screen would be golden! Idea of mixing track, though, is an interesting one! Not sure if it has any gameplay bonuses or just atmospheric one :) |
| Oct 14 09:29:29 | 17m 09s | 30 Seconds Till Winter | ♥ 1 | Finishing jam is a task on its own! Congratulations :) BTW your game named 30sec till winter and files are named 5min till winter! I can see cuts made right there hahaha! I also incountered strange fire bug, i guess? My wood kept disapearing and strange fire (i think?) was growing on the map. I survived till after 5min, though! Game has basic resource gathering and basic resource use - its good enough to start! That how everyone starts :) You also was alone - that is making everything harder. But that is what jams for! Learning something while having some fun in the process! Keep jamming! |
| Oct 14 09:42:18 | 12m 49s | Friendly | ♥ 1 | Got alone and I have friends ending.. i guess there is at least one more, judging by comments? :)) There was a funny bug though, when friendly just jumped offscreen and I couldn't befrend last guy... Fun little game, nice sound effects! That BLEARGH randomly made me giggle! |
