Apr 7 04:00:55 Abysmal fate ♥ 1 I think this game could benefit from some instructions. I didn't understand the mechanics and ended up randomly doing things. Also, the flickering background is something that might be problematic for people with photosensitivity issues (myself included).
Apr 7 04:12:47 11m 52s Descent ♥ 3 Awesome, two games for the price of one! I really enjoyed kicking satan's ass. I love the way how the platformer performance affects the shooting levels. I ended up dying multiple times in satan's basement, and started to sweat ("oooh shit, I'm going to have a bad time in the next level!"), which is super cool, mechanics-wise. All in all, a super solid entry! If I were to nitpick about something, perhaps I'd put the jump button somewhere else - but maybe that's just me not being used to jumping with W / arrow up.
Apr 7 06:39:57 2h 27m Let me home ♥ 1 The mood is pretty good, but like @jk5000 said, the texts disappear way too quickly to read them. Also, I'm not sure if it's my monitor or what, but mostly it was so dark that I couldn't see anything. Would love to give this another try if you can drop a post-compo build to slow down the texts. :)
Apr 7 06:43:52 3m 55s 2.5 Depth ♥ 1 Lovely interpretation of the theme! I got stuck quite early on in the game since I couldn't manage to jump and switch the layers at the same time (I assume this was the intentional way to go?). The music tracks of the different layers remind me a bit of old Monkey Island games and the way the music changes when you enter and exit buildings.
Apr 7 06:52:50 8m 58s Green Tastes Funny ♥ 1 Oh no, I'm a green thingy now! Nice work, was pretty chill experience digging through the green stuff. Gameplay-wise, there was quite little there, but as a compo game, I'd say this is on the par - solid execution is always better than half-assed bucketload of stuff. :)
Apr 7 12:08:02 5h 15m Focus! ♥ 1 Nice take on the theme, and super cool that you used accessibility tools to make this! I managed to eliminate the target. :)
Apr 7 12:11:00 2m 58s Getting Drilled! ♥ 1 This was a fun take! Oddly satisfying and chaotic, really well executed. :)
Apr 7 12:15:51 4m 51s Down Golf ♥ 1 Super fun take on the theme! Managed to get to the "yay" hole, and it was fun seeing the ball bounce off the platforms. A bit on the crude side when it comes to graphics, but I think that adds to the charm. 😄
Apr 7 12:18:23 2m 32s Gnoccholini Droppotini ♥ 0 A bit on the difficult side, but solid entry nonetheless. :)
Apr 7 12:22:45 4m 22s Deep Delve ♥ 1 Nice work. :) It got a bit slow after a while though, and I'm not sure if the levels were meant to repeat?
Apr 7 12:31:40 8m 55s Fossil Finder ♥ 0 Solid entry. :) I think I got a bit stuck after collecting all the fossils in the dirt area. How do you dig through the stone?
Apr 7 12:35:41 4m 01s Combat Wombat ♥ 1 Mortal Wombat! I mean, Combat Wombat! Fun little game. :)
Apr 7 14:22:49 1h 47m A Very Deep Tunnel ♥ 1 This was captivating! Minor nitpicks: The electric boxes can be "activated" multiple times, so you lose crystals easily by accident if you tap E when standing near an electric box. Also, I felt that accidentally walking into the darkness ending the game is a bit unnecessary. With all that out of the way, this was eerily satisfying. I especially loved how the rhythm formed into music as I progressed through the tunnels. Well done!
Apr 7 14:24:54 2m 05s The Minotaur's Maze ♥ 1 Got a jumpscare when I ran into the minotaur 😅 Cool twist on the theme!
Apr 7 14:31:03 6m 09s Debt Miner ♥ 1 Paid my debt! Nice little game, although gameplay-wise there was very little challenge. Perhaps this could be developed further with different ores and tools?
Apr 8 12:30:21 21h 59m Illuminat! ♥ 2 Nice work and original take on the theme. I liked the puzzle mechanic, just wished there were more levels / puzzles. :)
Apr 8 12:46:31 16m 10s The Investigator ♥ 1 Promising entry! I don't really have anything to add to other people's comments - there was a lack of feedback so I couldn't really tell what I did or if I did good or bad. The UI was a bit confusing; I guess the "left" button wasn't a button at all, but a label for the current view? I was also a bit confused by the multiple, contradicting lines told by the suspects.
Apr 9 03:19:29 14h 32m House Rules ♥ 4 I had to squint a bit to see everything there - I couldn't enter the fullscreen mode, probably because of the ISO / Nordic layout I'm using. If you could add another way of entering fullscreen mode, I'd love to give this a second try since this looks awesome. 😄 That said, the graphics were quite reminiscent of Inscryption, which I liked. I also enjoyed the mood - it's a cohesive whole. Good job!
