| Oct 8 01:42:58 | Tiny Mushy Froggies | ♥ 1 | A cool variation on Frogger! Doesn't feel you're much in control of what happens, though; felt like the best strategy was to get the hang of the full jump timing and spam that until you got through all lanes.. | |
| Oct 9 16:15:36 | 38h 32m | Juicy rollers | ♥ 3 | Loved the twist on the usual course-programming games allowing you to move objects in real-time! |
| Oct 9 19:58:42 | 3h 43m | Every Corner | ♥ 0 | so relaxing...! i'd play a longer parkour game with the same mechanics i think really liked the music too! |
| Oct 9 20:19:00 | 20m 18s | Tiny Tiny Tribes | ♥ 1 | this game would be ***perfect*** if not for the delayed turn controls great job nevertheless! |
| Oct 12 06:09:45 | 57h 50m | Ballverse | ♥ 1 | Ahhhh! Minigolf roguelite...! Dangerously addicting and fun! Well done! I can see people playing this for quite a while, but there are a couple things that in my opinion need to be changed: - running out of ammo and just sitting there helpless in the map feels very bad; having some kind of reload would improve things a lot (a special cell, maybe?) - more types of cells! right now, moving from a cell to the other is very easy most of the time. but what if some of them ***moved***? now you'd need to predict where it will be when you arrive there! |
| Oct 15 03:36:39 | 69h 26m | Interstellar Cargo Maidens | ♥ 0 | Hi from the fediverse, @fireslash! π Never thought intergalactic aluminum and uranium trade would be so much profitable! π€ ## Endgame screenshot Look, it's today in the game! https://static.ldjam.com/raw/d4d/z/68d71.png ## User interface The user interface was pretty good and satisfying to click through, which is the main thing to get right in this kind of game! It pausing the game when the trade select menu was open got more in the way than helped, though, as the main bottleneck was how fast I could click through trades... ## Unique pilots How many pilot images are there? I seem to have rolled the same ones multiple times... I think it would've been cool if pilot images were associated to an unique name and ability, instead of being random... My first two pilots had the same surname and I had initially assumed it was intentional, and started thinking of some headcanon like them being related in some way... I spy references to Evangelion and *a certain other game* in the other players' screenshots π ## Critters Well, here are your *tiny creatures* for the theme, I assume! Hehe. ## Music The music was chill and fit very well with the vibe of the game βΊοΈ ## Overall Very well done as always! π |
| Oct 15 23:19:59 | 19h 43m | Kill them with fire | ♥ 1 | what @tetrergeru said, pretty much! fun minigame! |
| Oct 15 23:31:34 | 11m 35s | Cradle of Chaos | ♥ 1 | I love falling sand games... A shame it doesn't seem to matter much here... Still, navigating the areas was very fun! https://static.ldjam.com/raw/d4d/z/68e09.png |
| Oct 15 23:53:08 | 21m 34s | Tiny Paws | ♥ 2 | microgames! [a game jam classic](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/keep-everything-alive-1)! fun! i got to exactly 50 points... *Treat Toss* is a run-ender lol, it's much more difficult than the other minigames sort of hoped there would be a boss minigame at a certain point, like in warioware a thing that i think would be important is to **list the basic controls in the game page**, so that players don't get caught off-guard when starting at first, like it happened with @a-priori! |
| Oct 18 14:05:49 | 62h 12m | Tic Tac Trillion | ♥ 1 | Playing on Linux via Wine. --- Oooh, I see there are many combos...! I guess it would be helpful to have these listed on the game page, otherwise I'm just placing squares blindly. It's true that it's fun to discover new combos on your own, but I guess it's not ideal in a competitive game? Maybe having a list that you would uncover while playing --- Uuuh, do a certain amount of squares in a row self-destruct or something? --- Ummm, how did a 2x4 square turn into a cross? --- Not a big fan of larger grids... Don't feel like they add much to the gameplay. --- Crosses override each other, my cross factory dream is over π --- Closing thoughts: ***FUUUUUN!*** and original! |
| Oct 23 23:42:21 | 129h 36m | Lost Orbit | ♥ 1 | Playing on Linux via Wine! --- Very good vibes! Took me more time to figure out how to unlock the swap between the two characters than actually figuring out what I was supposed to do; whoops! |
| Oct 23 23:51:10 | 8m 49s | Mercenary Exorcist | ♥ 0 | Playing on Linux via Wine! Or, I guess, not playing; in this case, only a black screen seems to appear π I guess it's not your fault, I guess I won't be rating your game though; good luck with the rest of the jam! |
| Oct 23 23:54:52 | 3m 42s | Critter Club | ♥ 0 | Accidentaly pressed Ctrl+W too many times to start playing again, I'm skipping rating this, sorry π |
| Oct 24 00:02:37 | 7m 45s | NEUTROKILL | ♥ 1 | Playing on Linux via Wine! Seems like Alt+tabbing crashes wine. Welp. --- Spray weapons are always fun and satisfying to see and use! Zooming out seems really important in this kind of game. After clearing most of the dark cells, a giant **YOU DIED** message appeared, but I'm not sure why? --- Playing another round. Recovery period started! But then I died again. What am I supposed to protect? |
| Oct 24 00:08:19 | 5m 42s | Sea Beckons | ♥ 1 | Playing on Linux via Wine! (What engine is this made in? Seems like it's asking me to download "Microsoft Edge Webview2 Runtime"...) (Welp, it turned out to be all white... I should've expected this, probably.) --- Skipping rating due to not being able to play the game; sorry! |
| Oct 24 00:27:32 | 19m 13s | Derpy | ♥ 0 | Loved that you planned a different power-up for every single car! (But couldn't figure out how do effectively deal damage to others...) |
| Oct 24 00:31:05 | 3m 33s | Spowe | ♥ 1 | Big Spore cell-phase and Agar.io vibes! The background soundscape was perfect to set up the mood of the game π |
| Oct 24 00:39:48 | 8m 43s | Highway Crossing Frog | ♥ 1 | FINALLY, ***REVENGE*** |
| Oct 24 00:52:50 | 13m 02s | Rummaging Raccoon | ♥ 1 | Couldn't find any cartridge after looking around for a good 6 minutes, then the workbench got stuck in an unusable state with an already-processed piece of scrap on top of it... |
| Oct 24 01:03:32 | 10m 42s | Vi and the Fairies | ♥ 1 | Nooo, please don't do the camera thing when you press A and D, makes the game feel like one of those bad PC ports... π Have you made the camera a child of the character controller, instead of the reverse? --- I loved the mood of the whole area! I managed to find the Green Fairy, but then, while exploring with my newfound double-jump power, I fell out of bounds with no way of getting back up, and pretty much faced the choice of starting over or sitting there in the void... Whatever; well done! |
| Oct 24 01:17:23 | 13m 51s | Right To Bear Fins | ♥ 1 | Fun! Not much to say that hasn't already been said in other comments! --- Maybe it would be helpful for some people to have a content warning before the game because of that death animation? It's hilarious, but I know at least a couple people who would get shaken by it... --- > "Glad you had fun shooting up schools!" > -- @deadroach WOW THE PUN |
