| Oct 7 03:16:04 | ISOPODRICK | ♥ 2 | Only bombs help against the small red critters, they seem immune to the machine gun. Which makes it a lot harder. Graphics are really great. I could not get the seed on the mushrooms, as soon as you slow down the critters overwhelm you. Great atmosphere, feels like you get hunted. Are the wasps your friends? Looked like they attacked the critters. | |
| Oct 7 03:34:22 | 18m 18s | Tiny Creature Word | ♥ 0 | Simple, but fun mechanic. I liked the hints you get when you spell extra words. i did not understand why it would not take furbie as a pet creature, but that's a toy. On the last level I almost gave up, the reward did not seem worth it. |
| Oct 7 07:54:40 | 4h 20m | Tiny Zoo | ♥ 0 | who knew running a zoo is so much stress...and crap :D I wish I could hire some help, after a while it just was too much. Then I noticed some animals are less work than others. It has surprising depth. When I place the enclosures too close to each other the visitors dont go to the enclosures further away from the entrance. But that seemed to have no ill effect on the ratings. |
| Oct 7 17:34:02 | 9h 39m | RestaurANT | ♥ 1 | Respect, for a first game thats impressive! Even more so that you did everything yourself. By day 5 I don't see how i can get the 25$. I always only make around 7-9 bucks. Is there a trick? Someone commented you can stack the bread? How do I do that? |
| Oct 7 17:36:31 | 2m 29s | Run Ant Run | ♥ 0 | I downloaded it from itch.io. The game does not start, shaderc_shared.dll is missing. |
| Oct 8 04:12:27 | 10h 35m | Ratsaurant Rush | ♥ 1 | Didn't understand at first that the rats are the cooks ... not the food! The sounds and music was kinda meh, but kudos on creating them yourself. Some kind of goal/win condition would have been nice. Or is there? I like the smooth controls and the graphics. The guests blocking the way were annoying but in a good way. Recruiting employees from the trash..classy :) |
| Oct 8 06:02:16 | 1h 49m | Subpixeana | ♥ 1 | What a mysterious game. What are those little things moving about? Is the anime lady(?) the boss enemy? There are bullets visible for a second when you shoot. But what do they do? What are all the things that appear when you shoot and why can I collect them? What's up with the RGB/BGR button in the top-right corner? Sometimes I think I see colors, but when I look closer its black/white after all. Not just mysterious; terribly mysterious. |
| Oct 8 18:02:44 | 12h 00m | Brave Tinies (unfinished) | ♥ 0 | Hmm, it plays like a boiled down 4x game combined with a bit of Dorfromantik. I understood the explore part (i think) and figured out some of the rules. What's up with the black clouds, though? It definitely could have used some instructions. It looks like an intriguing game, will you continue to work on it, caeonosphere? |
| Oct 8 18:18:27 | 15m 43s | Quick Text-Based Game | ♥ 0 | I would say your test was successful :) |
| Oct 8 18:36:45 | 18m 18s | Buzzy Hill | ♥ 1 | Very nice game. Very complete and nice delivery on the story and tutorial. Towards the end, when it got more hectic, all the messages from my "bosses" interrupted my work and jumps and such. Actually, kind of like bosses in a real job would :D |
| Oct 9 05:18:41 | 10h 41m | Norrland | ♥ 1 | The art is top: Atmospheric audio. Beautiful graphics. Handdrawn? The gameplay falls a bit short: Neither the light nor the person seemed to have an effect on the flies. Some feedback would have been good. |
| Oct 9 05:49:35 | 30m 54s | Leconium | ♥ 1 | The punch has a bit of delay due to the animation, that may be the reason it feels laggy to some. Because I like the controls a lot. Moving and jumping feels great. And the details: The little slide when the player stops. The jump height depends on how long I press the jump key. The player animations are awesome, too. The three-punch combo is great. Does it do more damage, though? i couldn't tell. It would have been cool to have a longer platformer sequence before the boss fight to make more use of the jump'n' mechanics which are really well done. |
| Oct 9 06:00:09 | 10m 34s | Ducks on the Road | ♥ 1 | I actually chuckled when a duckling was flattened by a car. Which is horrible, of course, but still funny :) Well done! |
| Oct 9 08:16:43 | 2h 16m | Daredevil Ant | ♥ 0 | What lovely background art. And great music. Awarding points for thrill-seeking is such a clever game mechanic! |
| Oct 9 08:36:59 | 20m 16s | Fifty Six LilyPads | ♥ 1 | Couldn' tell that the AI was not smart. Tension built anyway when I thought the AI might jump to a pad before I could. When it didn't, felt good to outsmart the AI however good it is :) The player has to put much thought into the initial placement of frogs. Great game, well done! |
| Oct 9 17:04:24 | 8h 27m | Tiny Lab! | ♥ 2 | Damn, that is some complex programming you have done here. The modelling is great, too. I like the lego bricks as building material. The user interface on the screens is awesome as heck. If I have to find a flaw, I would say the music is a bit repetitive. And there is no way to mess with your tiny humans (˵ •̀ᴗ•́˵)و Reminds me a lot of Downsizing, the Matt Damon film and an episode from the show Solar Opposites: solar-opposites-2.png |
| Oct 10 03:45:58 | 10h 41m | Demons On My Desk | ♥ 1 | I can summon demons from the pentagram and the doorway by lighting the candles. I now have four demons writing and 5 demons drinking themselves silly. What do the little speech bubbles do? How can I make them leave through the doorway? The text window after clicking the book or the flask never disappears and covered the pentagram. I had to restart and only then realized I can move the camera All I get in the clipboard is B̗͋͂̚ï͕̮̀l̺̏̿ͥl̩͆̈͂ŷ̞ͤ̉. (Bill is, coincidentally, my favourite demon name since Gravity Falls) Copy to clipboard is a weird, but innovative gameplay mechanic. I would have liked to see the game do more with it. The animations are neat, especially the writing animation. All in all an intriguing start, will you continue working on it? |
| Oct 10 07:29:06 | 3h 43m | TINY GOON (Ludum Dare 56) | ♥ 2 | Graphics and level design are top. I like the mix of 3d and billboards. Movement is a bit slow for my taste, the sword physics have been mentioned. Everytime the rabbit collects a carrot it jumps. That's a surprising design choice and messes with the player when jumping from platform to platform, but that is nitpicking. All in all a well rounded platformer. |
| Oct 11 18:34:36 | 35h 05m | Micro Wars | ♥ 2 | Awesome presentation and innovative game mechanic. very cool! |
| Oct 12 14:49:11 | 20h 14m | Critter Catchers | ♥ 1 | Hahaha, that moment when the bunny exploded. Well done. |
| Oct 13 14:23:39 | 23h 34m | Dream Quest: Land of the Living Wishes | ♥ 0 | Graphics and audio are great. It's hard to tell when you hit an enemy or they hit you though. I didn't quite understand how the wishes mechanic is supposed to work. Can I somehow select specific wishes? |
| Oct 13 14:50:01 | 26m 22s | Small Critters | ♥ 1 | Wow, that was a lot of fun. Best game I played so far. With a single creature at the start I thought these controls suck, the blob jumps around wildly, am I even controlling it :D When you got a crowd going it all made sense :) When the dungeon respawned, the layout looked exactly the same, I thought ok, the game just starts over again: I didn't know you had a generator in the background. Impressive! A quick and dirty way to make it feel more like a different dungeon: Replace the tile colors on respawn. Commanding a big crowd was really satisfying, although it made me hesitant to sacrifice creatures on upgrading them. But it's a great way to control the crowd size if you prefer a smaller force. Awesome gameplay mechanic! I played the web version on itch and had no performance problems. |
| Oct 13 16:18:05 | 1h 28m | Love Bugz | ♥ 1 | I read "what you have in common" or sth. and then saw my height and the bug's height. That made me chuckle and I think that's huge for a video game. Top humour marks. The Timer is a bit much, I would have liked more time. At least, in the beginning. A fresh and interesting game mechanic. And the date reminds me of classic point and click adventure puzzles, very well done! |
| Oct 13 16:43:31 | 25m 26s | FrogScape | ♥ 0 | well made tactical game! I wish I could skip frog turns. Sometimes I don't want to move a frog. But I realized some of the difficulty of attacking a cat comes from the forced movement. At lot of tactical thinking required even though the rules appear pretty simple. cool! |
| Oct 13 19:56:08 | 3h 12m | Roll to Attack | ♥ 1 | Very interesting game mechanic! I find it hard to aim, though. For sake of fairness I think the DM should have to throw dice as well. The monsters seemingly hit every time! The graphics are well done, I like the dm screen :) |
| Oct 22 18:20:36 | 214h 24m | Oddball Assembly | ♥ 1 | Fantastic. Reminds me a bit of Infinifactory. The last level gets really messy, balls everywhere. a nice challenge. Psychedelic graphics, don't look at the walls, makes you woozy. |
| Oct 23 18:22:20 | 24h 01m | Strange Little Men | ♥ 0 | I like the mechanic of inspecting the guys with a spotlight. And the pixel faces are cute. It is kinda hard to keep track of them when they change direction randomly. Maybe there is a way to highlight the last inspected guy or when you put one on the grass it stays there for a while. Kudos on trying something new with this game! Game Jams are the best opportunity for that sorta thing. |
