The gameplay is very polished and the artistic part (music and drawing) is beautiful. My only negative comment is about the spring physics. In my opinion, it's bad to control the jump height. I don't know if it was intentional (some kind of catch common in platform games), but it got in the way a lot. It interferes with the reflex response time for the next action. Secondly, the limited space is really claustrophobic. You used the theme well. I have a hard time liking first person games. Maybe it's because I have motion sickness and get dizzy, but I remember playing Pacman 3D, which is more or less that game. And I say that not being able to run is desperate. Both to escape the monster and to find the balls. Maybe you can put a stamina and running mechanic in a future version. |
