Oct 2 01:21:28 Bouncing Boxes ♥ 1 An interesting concept. I don't know if it was intentional or just out of convenience but I really like the simplicity of the art style and the design. Everything is clear and can be understood instantly. When it comes to the gameplay, its original and fits the theme very well but way too hard for me because of the lack of reactivity it has. By that I mean that we gotta anticipate too much things in advance in order to avoid the red squares, and generally I know that Im about to die like 5 seconds before it happens and there is nothing I can do about it. Its quite frustrating. With an additional gameplay mechanic it could give more options to be more reactive and avoid the frustrating deaths. For example giving the area a little shake that would make the player move faster, or rotating the area of 45ยฐ. There are many possibilities ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Another thing is that I could not run the exe at first because I needed libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll and libstdc++-6.dll. They are easy to find on the internet but packing a zip with those inside would be ideal. And put the audio with it as well ๐Ÿ‘ You still managed to make a complete game, with a proper splash screen, a nice hud and scoring system with a high score feature, this is already quite an achievement. Also the fact that you didn't use a game engine and did all of it from scratch is really impressive, well done !
Oct 2 01:43:39 22m 11s Rush Station ♥ 1 lmao this game is awesome, its just so much fun to push people around and it really is way too relatable The artwork is gorgeous too and the goofiness of it all is just too much. I can't rate it yet but thats a 5/5 for me
Oct 2 01:53:56 10m 17s Laser Grid ♥ 2 I love the artstyle, all the effects, sound design and feedbacks that you added, it really makes it comfortable to play it ๐Ÿ˜Œ The concept is simple but efficient too. Although I don't know if its because Im a slow poke but making it that fast paced is just too hard for me. I'd rather have more complicated level but having the time to do it. But they are also hard to design so I understand that choice. Great work overall !
Oct 2 18:53:47 16h 59m Mr.AdBar ♥ 1 This is such an original and good idea, I love it. The level got a bit repetitive near the end but how creative can you be in 1D anyway lol
Oct 2 19:08:28 14m 41s Gavin's Small Backpack ♥ 2 Very well done for your first complete game ! It does feel complete and I didn't notice any bug or issue that could hinder the experience. I expected some kind of rpg but it actually was an interesting puzzle game. I can easily see how it could evolve with maybe optional missions and different outcomes depending on the equipment you used. It was an enjoyable experience, gg ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
Oct 2 22:37:39 3h 29m Seagull Island | L'รฎle aux Goรฉlands ♥ 3 Couldn't get past 45. Too bad the camera does not follow the height of the builds, I could have gone higher :/ I love relaxing game like this, it reminds me of Townscaper but with an actual goal. And the art and music are ๐Ÿ‘Œ ๐Ÿ‘Œ ๐Ÿ‘Œ
Oct 2 22:48:41 11m 02s KeyBound ♥ 2 I couldn't get past a certain point because the platforming was a bit unprecise (or I'm just not skilled enough ๐Ÿค” ) but I enjoyed it up until that point. I like the graphics but it looked a bit weird at times with some sprites not having the same size as others, it kinda breaks the pixel art style. And the concept of getting power by getting keys is nice, it could make a great metroidvania or something similar. Great work !
Oct 2 23:25:49 37m 08s Afraid ♥ 1 This was an interesting experience. It wasn't really fun, but so is living with a mental illness so its on point. Sadly I couldn't get very far because the bars decrease quite rapidly, but the narration through journal entries acts as a good motivation to keep going through the struggles of the everyday routine. An interesting take on the theme, well done ๐Ÿ‘
Oct 3 00:29:40 1h 03m Galaxy in a Box ♥ 2 Very nice game, it looks polished and the artstyle is nice. The presence of the tutorial is really appreciated ๐Ÿ˜ƒ It was harder than I thought to make the space ship avoid the magnet, its kinda counter intuitive in my brain. I only got to 113 points in 83.
Oct 3 01:55:33 1h 25m Angler ♥ 2 This game made me fear for my life lol I couldn't get past a corridor with a note on the ground talking about something with the light trying to lure him in. Everytime I went to the right I ended up back at the beginning of the room, I don't know if thats on purpose or not but going back on the left make me clip out of the map. But what a creepy ambiance, a simple narrative but really immersive, well done :)
Oct 3 03:20:24 1h 24m Locked Together ♥ 2 lmao it looks like a giant meme There was one junky and 3 other brutes who hate drugs, and since the junky likes me he gave me his drug everytime I talked about a subject he likes, and he got a beating by all the other inmates everytime. The 3 others then proceeded to congratulate themselves by reminding me that they sure do love a good beating and talking about crime. This is ridiculous ๐Ÿ˜‚ An interesting and original take on the theme for sure, but other than that I fail to understand what else is there to do beside talking about 3 topics and seeing them beat each other up.
Oct 3 03:52:57 32m 33s Whiskers in the Dark ♥ 4 I really had some fun playing this, it reminded me of some levels in Rayman legends. The only problem I may have is how strict the light can be, there was a few times where I barely was touching it and the hand caught me. But that's really a detail compared to the quality of the game. The graphics, the sound design and the gameplay is so well polished it really feels good to play it. Well done !
Oct 3 04:20:13 27m 16s Fish in hat ♥ 3 The idea seemed really fun, I liked that you put a low FOV to add to this underwater effect. But Im stuck after I drew some mustach and a hat, apparently I need to see from a different angle but I cant figure out where :/
Oct 3 04:59:38 39m 25s ASAP ♥ 3 Simple concept but this is very well executed, well done ! Now I gotta boot up infinifactory again ๐Ÿ‘€
Oct 3 21:00:56 16h 01m Greasy Justice ♥ 1 I couldn't click on next wave for some reason, even though I heard the click sound ๐Ÿค” From the video you posted the game seems quite polished. I like the art style too. But there seems to be too many gaemplay mechanics it looks a bit complicated to properly get the hang of it. Good job nonetheless !
Oct 3 21:11:32 10m 36s Piper ♥ 1 I remember playing a game with the exact same concept on my phone back in the days. Not necessarily original but I like those kind of game and yours is well done. The controls are responsive, the graphics are simple but nice as well as the audio. And the tutorial is really nice too. The only problem I have is that the levels are too simple, but its really hard to design a good puzzle :/ gg ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
Oct 3 21:48:25 36m 53s RESTRICTED AREA ♥ 2 Intersting twist to a top down shooter. My hotline miami habits made me try to rush through the levels but I quickly realized I need to think for a second. Well done :)
Oct 3 22:19:16 30m 51s Tiny Tour ♥ 3 This is exactly the type of game I love. Its simple but so effective ! And the artstyle is gorgeous too. I could easily see myself spend hours on this on my phone.
Oct 3 23:11:12 51m 56s Next Station ♥ 2 This is a really cool idea ! I would have loved an endless mode with more and more difficult wagons.
