| Jan 8 21:05:19 | Swfarming infestation | ♥ 3 | I had a little difficulty understanding the controls at first and eventually I figured it out. A fine game overall, but that music is poppin. | |
| Jan 8 21:06:16 | 57s | Beet Island | ♥ 1 | I don't think you have set the game to be public on itch yet. Please @me when you do so I can come back and play it |
| Jan 8 21:08:37 | 2m 21s | Selective Reaper | ♥ 1 | Lol I like your art and you artstyle you went with. The gameplay was easy to follow and you had really clear instructions on the itch page. Nice work! |
| Jan 8 21:12:12 | 3m 35s | Cave Cropduster | ♥ 2 | I love the feel of the plane when I'm flying. I don't know if it was a glitch or a time but I found that if I dropped the pesticide I had to wait a moment before being able to drop more. As a serial missclicker I had some difficult missing mushrooms due to that, but I am sure for the non-misclicking folks out there it will work fine lol. Very enjoyable. |
| Jan 8 21:16:33 | 4m 21s | Crowings Do | ♥ 2 | I love it! As a fellow user of mouth sounds as sound effects I appreciate the creativity and the willingness to get on a mic and go "Omm nomm nomm" which I am sure depending on you constitution was either hell to edit or just plain uncomfortable lol. A nice simple game I figured out what I was suppose to do no problem so I would say you achieved the goal of making something easy to understand and get into. I am not a real score chaser type person, but the charming artwork kept me playing for longer than I normally do. |
| Jan 8 21:23:13 | 6m 40s | Cropland | ♥ 1 | A bold choice with the tank controls. I personally like them and find them easy to use (as well as the fact that they are realistically correct for the type of vehicle what with the treads and all), but I am sure somebody will show up sooner or later to say how they don't enjoy them. I also liked your sound effect for when you collect the flowers it wasn't to loud or... sharp. I did have some difficulty figuring out when I should pic the flowers but once enough of them spawned that they where turning yellow and I heard the effect I knew. I will say that in the future you may want to consider colorblindness specifically because your flowers are yellow on an orangish (on my monitor) background and I want to say that it may be hard to see them for people who suffer from red green color blindness, its a jam so its fine, but if you wanted to port this idea to mobile its just something you might want to take into consideration. Overall I liked the game good work. |
| Jan 8 21:26:23 | 3m 10s | Puzzle game about farming I think | ♥ 2 | A good fun game. I personally found some of the puzzles to be a little two easy for my taste, but in a jam you probably want to easy rather than two hard. The music also sounded really nice and didn't make me want to tear my hair out so good work on that front. Overall I had fun. |
| Jan 8 21:31:31 | 5m 08s | Harvest Battle Adventure | ♥ 1 | My first jam game I ever made was a clicker, but this outpaces it by leagues and bounds. I will say for some reason for me on itch the game has scroll bars which don't take away from the experience and I can read everything perfectly fine I just find it strange that they are there in the first place. You may want to check the resolution you have set in itch as it may be slightly too small. Other than that the game played fine. I have grown past my days as a clicker fantatic but for people who are still in it I am sure they would enjoy this. The art was especially good. So all in all I would say you did a good job. |
| Jan 8 21:33:33 | 2m 02s | Asteroid Miner | ♥ 1 | Hey it seems like in your build you put as a web version on itch that the controls don't work. I even tried fullscreening the game and it didn't work. |
| Jan 8 21:39:30 | 5m 57s | Starship Harvester | ♥ 1 | Very enjoyable. I liked the little woohoo that came from the ship every time I put in some scrap. I will say that I did find a tiny glitch, but I was intentionally mess with the game. So on the longer pieces of scrap you can get them lodged in and then knock em back and forth to wiggle them out of put them in again for unlimited score on a single piece of scrap. Its a little glitch, but I figured I would tell you about it. So yeah good work. Its a nice fun game with enjoyable sound effects. |
| Jan 8 21:51:55 | 12m 25s | The Marketer's Dream | ♥ 2 | God I am bad at haggling. I like your bit of story telling at the beginning lol. I will say that the "UwU" was unexpected, but also had me dieing a little (mostly from laughter). Outside of that I enjoyed the various minigames. I personally found the metal detector game to be really hard (mostly because its reflex based and I have a trash reaction speed). But you gave alternatives so I didn't have to just do it which is really great. A very solid game although again I am trash at haggling lol. Good work |
| Jan 8 22:29:51 | 37m 56s | Octo Garden | ♥ 1 | Very cute little game. Took me a minute to figure out what I was suppost to be doing, but thats mostly because I have such a short attention span I don't ever read the instructions lol. But once I figured it out it was pretty easy. I do wish that there was some sort of border to keep the squid buddy from flying out of the bounds of the screen and become lost, but other than that I really liked the game. Also your sound effect was really good. Nice work! |
| Jan 8 22:34:32 | 4m 41s | Typefarmer | ♥ 2 | Dang congrats of you inevatible top 100 placement. This is really good and really fun. I can imagine myself playing this for hours as a kid during computer free time in school. The music is bopping and the actual gameplay has a good progression to it. Absolutely outstanding. |
| Jan 8 22:41:21 | 6m 49s | Crop Carnage | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed this. I did find that the exponential return on corn did have me at points running from the top of the screen to the bottom planting long lines of corn for future harvesting, but thats kind of the point I suppose lol. This was a very enjoyable experience. |
| Jan 8 22:45:31 | 4m 10s | Bas | ♥ 2 | Lol that jump sound going of repeatedly was a little silly but I think if there was an animation of the player shimming up the branches\vines they grow then it would turn very cute lol. Overall a nice little game I enjoy the concept of a platformer where you have to grow your way to the levels goal. I could see this being expanded out to a larger game. Good work. |
| Jan 8 22:51:29 | 5m 58s | Tough Luck Mr. Harvard | ♥ 2 | Hey this was pretty enjoyable. I found the control scheme to be a little... not counter intuitive but more so offbeat. I mean you lay out what the controls are very clearly so it was really just a problem of muscle memory from other games saying "Hey thats not how that works", but I got over it pretty quickly. The sound effects where pretty nice. I personally find that a lot of bfxr-esque sound effects end up being a little sharp\chirpy and these sat just a little more on the side of comfortable listening. The music also definitely helped with that as well. Good work on the game I enjoyed it. |
| Jan 8 23:04:11 | 12m 42s | Drought | ♥ 2 | This was an nice little game. I am dumb so I had some difficulty understanding exactly what I was doing at first and ended up dropping a metric ton of water onto only one of the plots. I eventually figured out what I was doing though lol. I enjoyed your music a lot as well. Nice work. |
| Jan 8 23:13:31 | 9m 20s | Wheater of the Colossus | ♥ 1 | This was a nice little game. I will say you may want to limit the range of rotation on your camera. One because you can look from the underside of the world, but two because you are changing the direction that the player is facing based on the camera's forward position, the problem is when the camera is a a 90 degrees angle up or down the players movement speed is dramatically reduced because the forward vector of the camera is forcing it into the ground. Outside of that your gameplay worked well and your webgl version isn't to bad lag wise. Good work. |
| Jan 8 23:19:36 | 6m 05s | Harvest Harvest Crush | ♥ 2 | Very fun little match four game. Reminded me of a puyo puyo more than tetris what with the lack of tetranaminos. You nailed all the basic elements of the game I never felt like there was to much going on and the rng seemed to be working well. The music was maybe a little to loud but thats what volume adjustment on client side exist for. Good work |
| Jan 8 23:24:15 | 4m 39s | HARZARD OR HARVEST | ♥ 1 | Really really good. I like the angle you took on the camera it makes it much easier to jump and land on the platforms (It actually reminded me a great deal of how jumping flash on the ps1 handles jumping). Also the effect for the levels end was so damn cool. |
| Jan 8 23:33:36 | 9m 21s | Organ Trail | ♥ 2 | I chuckled far harder at regular-sized tony than I thought I would lol. I enjoyed the game (even if I never read things the first time and so I killed the guy multiple times lol). Overall a good game I like it! |
| Jan 9 23:11:13 | 23h 37m | Automation is the Future of Farming | ♥ 1 | This is a pretty fun little game. I really enjoyed it. |
| Jan 9 23:16:20 | 5m 07s | Season of Harvest | ♥ 3 | Good game. I found the sound effects to be a little to sharp and loud for my taste, but other than that it was really nice. |
| Jan 10 00:15:33 | 59m 13s | Brains | ♥ 1 | Damn this is really good. I love that music and the artwork. The little bit of camera work at the very beginning was a really clear sign of the polish you put into this. Great work. |
| Jan 10 00:18:50 | 3m 17s | Boar'd'Hell | ♥ 1 | TDIL: I am not going to be a future farmer of America lol. This plays really intuitively and I really enjoyed it. |
| Jan 10 00:35:37 | 16m 47s | Crop Circle | ♥ 0 | This is a really good little arcade style game. Good work |
