| Jan 10 01:45:20 | Star Harvest | ♥ 1 | What would be a game by @geckoo1337 without a leaderbord! The idea and mechanic is pretty interesting - but damn this game is hard. Can't seem to even touch a higher score than 30. | |
| Jan 10 02:06:20 | 21m 00s | Harvest for a Murder | ♥ 2 | I needed 20 tries to beat it. Really rough luck is what I had. Good idea to harvest yourself to stay alive, while also fleeing from "the harvesting". |
| Jan 10 02:15:15 | 8m 55s | Strange Orchardist | ♥ 1 | I also had these lag spikes as it was already mentioned (it happened consistently when I tried to reset). Still this game was really fun to play and the movement was very well done in the short span of 3 days! Good job 👍 |
| Jan 10 02:27:08 | 11m 53s | Alice Redux | ♥ 1 | After I understood, which tree is holding the seeds, the game was fairly easy. The mechanic with Alice shrinking and the ever-growing trees would have some potential after putting in some more effort into this. |
| Jan 10 02:47:04 | 19m 56s | Harveyster | ♥ 3 | @peringo Is this is our pumpking? 😍 Honestly, this was a really great game and fun to play! Well done. |
| Jan 10 21:55:14 | 19h 08m | Barvest: The Iconic Bug Harvest of 2005 | ♥ 3 | I enjoyed this game! With 100% completion I saw everything of it - slick movement, chill music and very creative level design (especially for a Ludum Dare submission!). I think that if the enemies could fight back, the gameplay and potential would rise to another level. |
| Jan 10 22:05:40 | 10m 26s | Backyard Fruitball | ♥ 2 | This game has alot of potential! It reminds me of some of the old flash games where you play a 1v1 with a friend. The controls feel a bit stiff but after a bit of practice I got the hang of it! |
| Jan 10 22:29:29 | 23m 49s | Chronos: Harvest Time | ♥ 2 | The difficulty has a nice balance, and I like the mechanic that either you harvest them early or get more enemies later. Good entry! |
| Jan 11 01:05:40 | 2h 36m | Racing Reaper | ♥ 2 | The graphics look nice and it was fun to play for the first few tries 😃 I loved to just kick the hay bales and see them sweep every living thing out of existence, haha. Your game's overall appearance had stonked if there would have been the time to add some more animations. |
| Jan 11 01:19:25 | 13m 45s | 30 Days With Thiiis Guy | ♥ 1 | Cool idea, sadly I also ran into the "Froze on Day 11 and no dialogue" bug (he looped through his talk animation while this happened). Apart from this, everything the player can do literally needs no real explanation since there aren't that many different objects to interact with. |
| Jan 20 00:20:18 | 215h 00m | V.O.L.E. | ♥ 1 | Didn't really understand what I was doing and simply won with 9 information harvested. It was an interesting story idea and the gameplay was innovative. I think this would have been a much better experience with animated scenes, text voices and clearer writing 😃 Good job though! |
| Jan 20 00:41:37 | 21m 19s | Rootbound Rampage | ♥ 1 | I like the overall idea of the game and how it fits the theme. To me it felt a bit too easy since I haven't died once. It's a really cool mechanic that you can also destroy the environment which gives the player some flexibility when getting to the next enemy! |
| Jan 26 02:09:32 | 145h 27m | My Reaper Garden | ♥ 2 | This game was really good! I enjoyed the mechanic and think that it has alot of potential in the same manner as Dustforce DX has. With a neat soundtrack behind it I coulde see myself playing your gem casually 😄 |
| Jan 26 02:19:55 | 10m 23s | Waiting on One | ♥ 1 | Yay, another GameMaker fan ^^ The gameplay itself felt a little repetitive though that's the life of planting and harvesting crops I guess 😄 I think a newly generated labyrinth and some more tasks would have boosted the replay value alot. Good entry though, especially for doing all of this by yourself! Edit: Also maybe write in your description that there is a wall jump mechanic because I also felt a little lost :) A tutorial always is a good idea - We added one to our game but it wasn't complete and lacked some information, the players would have really needed. So I feel you on that page. |
| Jan 26 02:49:45 | 29m 50s | Live Organ Harvest! | ♥ 1 | It was a joy playing your game. The puzzle game idea itself is really cool and that it's not just "connect these three components" but instead you have to think about the overlapping parts and finding the right pieces to do that - is pretty clever indeed. In the end I was able to beat it pretty easily but I myself wouldn't really know how to make sure that it has a fitting difficulty because of the randomly generated donators. Maybe if there were even more components to connect it would automatically get more complex? Like adding the nervous system which also needs to connect to the brain. I learned from another game jam that making a 3 to a 4 cranks up the gameplay a LOT. Good job! |
| Jan 27 02:32:34 | 23h 42m | Moon 2023 | ♥ 0 | The idea feels very innovative and I agree with the rest that I had loved to see more content to play around with! |
| Jan 27 02:45:45 | 13m 11s | Let there be Light | ♥ 0 | With a little more balancing this game can become a real gem! I loved the moody aesthetic and the gameplay idea of shining brighter than darkness can consume with the help of all the different plants. Nice one 😃 |
