| Oct 7 08:48:19 | Jenry Javelina | ♥ 1 | Had a lot of fun playing this one. The controls feel great, the game is challenging but enjoyable, the music and sound design are great! The main thing that bothered me was that it was often hard to see how far a given platform was gonna be, but I don't know how I would address this issue. | |
| Oct 7 09:06:27 | 18m 08s | A Curious Case Of Lines | ♥ 1 | Loved the general mood & graphics! And great job on the level design :-) The concept is cool, but I think it could be made more interesting. Most of the time, it's clear what you have to do: just draw a line and continue. With more puzzles, it would be great! |
| Oct 7 09:44:53 | 38m 26s | SCANLINE | ♥ 1 | I *love* this game, this is excellent and 100% my vibe :D I absolutely dig the retro aesthetics & the humour of this, and the gameplay & level design are great. This is my favourite entry so far. If I had one remark, it's that I'm often frustrated when I have to restart a level because of one mistake. I love the "undo" feature in Baba Is You, and I feel like it would make this game slightly less frustrating at times. |
| Oct 7 09:56:46 | 11m 53s | Procedural Spider | ♥ 1 | Screenshot from 2021-10-07 11-54-26.png Did I win? :D This is disturbing and very cool, love the mood, graphics and music. Would love to see this idea expanded upon! Also kinda reminds me of Enemy (2013) by Denis Villeneuve. Wouldn't recommend if you don't like big spiders :> |
| Oct 7 10:13:50 | 17m 04s | UnstableOS | ♥ 1 | It's a fun idea, though a bit frustrating, which---I know---is the point 😅 |
| Oct 7 10:29:27 | 15m 37s | B.A. in Animal Psychology | ♥ 2 | Really funny entry, I had a good laugh while playing :D Great job on the voice acting too! I found the gameplay frustrating, which I know is the point, but I think it might have been more fun if the "hard controls" felt less random/more predictable? |
| Oct 7 10:53:45 | 24m 18s | ecosystem except there is no equilibrium and everyone dies probably | ♥ 1 | Cool idea :0 when I saw a `dup` command I thought this was a weird flavour of Forth, but nope. I don't really have new things to say about it: would be great to have some docs and more explanations :D Still, there's something fun about tinkering around and trying to figure out how things work. Kinda like poking around at a library or system you don't know, trying to reverse-engineer it. A nice entry overall :> |
| Oct 7 11:01:26 | 7m 41s | Nucleus | ♥ 1 | A nice, chill entry. I especially like the art and sound design. Small detail: it wasn't clear at first that I needed to keep the energy in, more than keeping the electrons out. I like that the electrons' trajectories are bent by the EM force :> |
| Oct 7 11:09:59 | 8m 33s | There's no escape | ♥ 1 | I like the mood, art and sound design a lot! And the gun feels pretty nice to shoot :> As others have said, the elevators are a bit slow. Also, I was very confused about where the enemies would come from, and what I needed to do about that. Ended up constantly shooting everywhere, hoping that I would hit something as it spawned, which was a bit weird. |
| Oct 7 15:11:58 | 4h 01m | Libra City | ♥ 1 | Ohh I like the concept, too bad the game is pretty short. Would love to see more levels! |
| Oct 17 07:10:19 | 231h 58m | Me And My Unicycle | ♥ 1 | This was so much fun! Hard enough to be challenging, but not so much that I couldn't finish it, eventually :D It's a really interesting control scheme. Great job! On Linux, I couldn't hear any audio, is that normal? I've had audio issues with Bevy in the past, so much so that I usually just remove the feature from the compilation. Also, R to restart didn't do anything for me. |
| Oct 17 07:34:34 | 24m 15s | Edge of Entropy | ♥ 2 | As a lot of people have said, I liked the graphics, audio and general mood a lot! But unfortunately I just really couldn't get into the game. The rules were hard to grasp, I found it difficult to understand the point of some of the gameplay mechanics, and the extremely random nature of the game made it a lot less fun for me. |
| Oct 17 07:38:54 | 4m 20s | KungFun BaLance | ♥ 1 | This was a nice little game :-) Good job on the graphics and the music, they set a really nice mood! |
| Oct 17 07:51:01 | 12m 07s | Unstable Relation | ♥ 1 | Nice job on the graphics! The game was fairly easy once I realised that I was essentially invincible when spamming the dash keys :D I felt like the mouse motions were a bit slow, could've been nice to be able to adjust mouse sensitivity. |
| Oct 17 08:00:37 | 9m 36s | Precarious Atoms | ♥ 1 | I just love a good idea well done, and this game is exactly that. Excellent job! This was a lot of fun to play :-) wish I could've played more but the repeated clicking was risking to trigger my RSI 😅 Did you make the sound effects and music by the way? They're really good, but I don't see a rating option for them. |
| Oct 17 08:05:50 | 5m 13s | Explorer, Beware! | ♥ 1 | This is a cool proof-of-concept, would love to see it expanded with more levels! The mechanic is pretty interesting. The controls were a bit awkward, would've been better for jump to be on up arrow, so I could play with both keyboard and mouse together. |
| Oct 17 08:18:22 | 12m 32s | Rolling Tower Clash | ♥ 1 | Really cool idea, and pretty well done! I must admit that even after a few games I couldn't totally grasp the nature of the controls, why sometimes I could move and sometimes not, and when exactly the arm would indeed follow my mouse. Maybe some more work needed to perfect the controls, and then you'd have a truly awesome game 🤩 |
