Oct 5 05:59:35 Bloody Sheepfold ♥ 0 The concept was very unique. I liked trying to balance being around the sheep to heard and then moving when I would transform.
Oct 8 03:14:49 69h 15m Pupu Jellyfish ♥ 1 Really love the atmosphere. I think it was not entirely clear what the red orb did. I was not sure if I was supposed to collect them to refill my meter or it was best to avoid. But it was an enjoyable experience regardless.
Oct 8 03:24:11 9m 22s Reverse Runner ♥ 1 I had to play the game about 5 times because I was experiencing a bug that would place me in the top left of the screen and I could no escape. For the control scheme you went for, I wish you could see where the cursor was if you were not moving. Sometimes I would teleport without knowing where I would go. I liked the music and the mood, very chill. When the game worked correctly for me, it was a lot of fun
Oct 8 03:38:56 14m 45s Pizza Pony ♥ 2 Favorite game of the jam so far!!! It's pizza horse, what can you say. So awesome, I loved developing strategies, like turning into the goal to reset my pizza stack/
Oct 8 03:46:31 7m 35s The Yellow Wallpaper ♥ 1 Loved the art style. I wish there was indicators to let you know where you can drop down since often it was a blind fall.
Oct 8 03:52:15 5m 44s Unhinged Magic ♥ 0 Was really fun. I am a big fan of the Binding of Isaac and this scratched a similar itch. Was hard to damage the book when my shots would get blocked. I wish the ones that would explode on colliding with my shots would be colored differently so I would know. The title screen music was such a bop, it is a shame that I could not listen to it longer.
Oct 8 03:58:52 6m 37s Monster Lab ♥ 1 I liked the art style and concept. I had an issue where if I pressed the tasks button and then "OK", I would get stuck and could not close either window. I had a hard time understanding what to do. I think some of the instruction was unclear. I did not know what properties were from each lab. Maybe after using the lab, I could get more info about the strengths of it.
Oct 8 04:18:50 19m 58s From World 1, With Love ♥ 1 The music absolutely slaps. Very impressive. I got stuck on level 5 (with the tower) it seemed like I would keep dying without me being able to see what was getting hit. I thought to climb the tower, but couldn't find the platform after the first. Loved the art style, both in the debriefing room and in the drawn world. The animation was very fluid and clearly indicated what I was doing. I wish there was a way to fast reset when you know you have lost. For sure one of my favorite games this jam.
Oct 9 02:53:24 22h 34m Lumen Sphera ♥ 1 I had some trouble using the menu with PC. All of the prompts were for XBOX so I had to guess the controls. I liked the core concept, although many of the levels could be cheesed via jumping. Maybe make the jump give you less height. I think given more time, this puzzle concept will be very fun and unique.
Oct 9 03:27:08 33m 44s Corvin and The Cauldron of Who-Knows-What ♥ 1 I really loved the art and the sound effects, really well done and brought back nostalgia. The music was a bit grating especially when stuck on a puzzle for a while. I wish the loop was longer or maybe there could be different songs for each task. I loved the easter eggs when doing an incorrect combination, I felt like it gave the game a lot of charm. Overall, I thought the execution of the concept was well done. SPOILER ALERT: I got b_______ in my first playthrough, I thought because of my negative score. I beat the game again with no mistakes hoping for a different ending, but still got b_______ :/.
Oct 12 19:15:26 87h 48m Shifting Labyrinth ♥ 1 The move sound was quite jarring as it was the first sound in the game. Hard to know how loud it would be. I liked the concept, I wish there was some way of knowing when the walls would shift so it was more like a puzzle. It ended up being more trial and error. I liked the hand drawn art style.
Oct 14 19:28:29 48h 13m MELTDOWN ♥ 0 I think it was sometimes unclear what was going on in the lab based on the visuals. I liked the design of the little workers.
Oct 14 19:36:04 7m 35s Floemobile ♥ 1 I liked the handling, especially spinning out hitting steep slopes.
Oct 14 19:43:48 7m 44s OverCauldron - Lonely industrial stories across the hearth ♥ 2 There seemed to be a timed element to making each potion, but even when I ran out of time, I could still make the potions, so that felt a bit confusing. I really liked the music reminded me of the Metrod Prime 2 Torvus Bog theme. The atmosphere was really nice.
Oct 15 15:32:56 19h 49m Cosmic Time-Out ♥ 0 I wish it was possible to zoom in to get finer control. Loved the music. The game was extremely loud when I initially opened it. I think I title screen with a volume slider would be really nice.
Oct 15 15:43:40 10m 44s False Angel ♥ 1 Overall, I loved the game. I appreciate the attention to level design in stage one to teach players how the break blocks works. You placed them in places the player would jump into naturally but would receive no consequences. I think the controls in stage 2 would have made more sense on controller, but were frustrating on keyboard.
Oct 21 03:06:34 131h 22m Contrary ♥ 3 Loved the art style and the music. I think not being able to freely jump is probably one of the most frustrating game mechanics haha. I do appreciate that the level seemed to be timed to allow you to jump when it was important to catch a platform. More checkpoints at the second level would be appreciated. Overall, was a really enjoyable experience!
