| Apr 27 09:41:17 | The Incredible Adventures of Oleg | ♥ 4 | Had a blast helping Oleg to dig deeper! Super cute hamster comic, great music, nice graphics and a good learning curve. I didn't expect such a good and fitting boss stage. Well done! | |
| Apr 27 09:58:47 | 17m 30s | Dark waters | ♥ 2 | Great atmosphere 👍 |
| Apr 27 14:31:36 | 4h 32m | City goes deeper | ♥ 2 | The idea was interesting after figuring out what to do. A quick description of what to do and what the different buildings do would be great :) I didn't quite understand when I was able to build a new building in a slot and when not. |
| Apr 27 14:36:43 | 5m 07s | QWERUIOP | ♥ 1 | Quick note to the restart button: I could not press that key on a German keyboard and had to reload the page whever I died (which happened a lot ;) ) |
| Apr 27 19:09:28 | 4h 32m | Duggy | ♥ 1 | Great retro arcade feeling 👍 |
| Apr 28 06:29:21 | 11h 19m | Sinking Atlantis | ♥ 3 | A lovely little platformer. The art is really beautiful. The graphics glitch when jumping felt quite disrupting and would be a good fix for a past-LD-version :) I would be interested in an extended version of this game! |
| Apr 28 06:45:18 | 15m 57s | Khazads | ♥ 2 | Good job with the game! The little story at the start was great :) I struggled a bit with the attack controls. It was not really clear when the pickaxe hits and what range the attack has. Some of the barrels couldn't be destroyed I think? Was stook for quite a while in the maze, trying to destroy a barrel that blocked the path without realising there is an alternative path around it. |
| Apr 28 07:03:59 | 18m 41s | Madman - The Crazy Scientist | ♥ 2 | Great idea and awesome that you managed to get so much done without an engine. I can't imagine even getting the rendering done in time with LibGDX, let alone finish a game with it! Good job on the NPC movement! Sadly the controls wouldn't work for me. When holding down W/A/S/D the scientist would move 1-2 pixels and then stop. Sometimes I could randomly walk for a bit before I got stuck again. |
| Apr 28 07:41:54 | 37m 55s | Into the Deep | ♥ 1 | I spent more times on this game than I'd like to admit. I really loved the upgrades. Gave killing the enemies a purpose and it felt like I had a great progression. The difficulty curve was good as well. The only thing I personally didn't like, was the lives system. I died a good few times and going back from your upgraded ship in great bullet hell levels to the first ship and rather peaceful levels was a bit frustrating. I never managed to unlock the last ship. |
| Apr 28 07:58:54 | 17m 00s | enRoot | ♥ 1 | Interesting are style. Loved the dash control (you should mention that in the control scheme 🙂). I struggled a bit to figure out where to go. Jumped around for a few minutes in the beginning until I found the exit. Afterwards found the rabbit after going left initially. Then I found the big marble, destroyed the blockage and fell into nothingness. I guess there is no ending yet? |
| Apr 28 08:11:02 | 12m 08s | Catch GEMS all | ♥ 1 | This feels like a small but well polished game. The grappling mechanic was really smooth and the art looks great. Give the gems some purpose, add some hazards and you get a full indie game 😄 |
| Apr 28 08:31:39 | 20m 37s | The Mystery of Stalore-9 | ♥ 3 | Definitely an interesting idea! Loved the mood of the game. I had the same issue with getting teleported back to the ship. Didn't realise there is a yellow energy bar (or a health bar) as it doesn't show in the web version unless you go fullscreen. |
| Apr 28 08:58:23 | 26m 44s | Space Dwarf | ♥ 3 | Good job! The graphics are great and I the level design looks really good (especially for randomly generated stages!). Impressive how much you got done in just 72 hours. In later stages it got a bit tedious to kill the enemies (I think their health kept growing from stage to stage?). |
| Apr 28 09:40:16 | 41m 53s | Fish'n'Ship | ♥ 4 | Good job on the game! Nice idea, pleasing graphics, cool upgrade system and well polished in general. @sodaro ohhh I did not realise that at all. Thought you had to push that fish type away with the oxygen module. That explains why it took me so many attempts to reach the end 😄 |
| Apr 28 10:34:04 | 53m 48s | Search for the Undergem | ♥ 1 | I really dug this game! Wish there was more things to spend all the $ on. Maybe strip mining the whole world was a bit overkill ;) |
| Apr 28 10:48:00 | 13m 56s | GraveDigger | ♥ 1 | What a shame that the theme wasn't "Higher and higher". "Coffin rider" would have made a great entry for that 😉 Jokes aside, I liked the idea and had fun playing through the initial three levels. The controls felt a bit frustrating because I often failed to move the way I wanted to which resulted in failing the level. Faster acceleration and braking might get it a bit more under control. |
| Apr 28 12:17:48 | 1h 29m | AeroCat | ♥ 2 | The character animation is just lovely 🙀 The whole visual style is so pleasing and soothing. Spent the first few minutes just looking at the cat in different rotations. Character controls felt spot on as well. One question: Is there a third background at some point? I was pleasantly surprised by the change after a few tries. Definitely my favourite LD game so far! AeroCat.png |
| Apr 28 13:17:53 | 1h 00m | Hole Down | ♥ 2 | Good job! Awesome soundtrack and sfx! The game was short and crips with a nice art style. Controls felt good as well. I encountered one bug where I couldn't choose an item from the computer where you choose between sword, armor and potion. Also I'm not quite sure why enemies sometimes killed each other but didn't other times. Overall a great experience! |
| May 2 20:14:07 | 102h 56m | Reaching Under | ♥ 0 | What a fun and unique idea. The graphics were looking good as well. I encountered two pretty big problem while playing though. The first was not being able to read what key I have to press. The upper half of the key was cut off sometimes making it a wild guess what to press next. The other issue was not being able to press more than 4-5 keys simultaneously. As soon as I had to hold a few more keys, the arrow keys stopped responding and I crashed. This is probably a technical limitation on my side but stopped me from getting past 200 points. |
| May 3 14:45:49 | 18h 31m | Pirifurm DCleaner | ♥ 1 | Great and fun entry, especially for a compo game! Interesting take on the theme with nice physic interactions. Got to 17k in easy mode before a virus glitched and oneshot me even though I had full health (guess it got stuck in me and collided rapidly?). Got to 9k in hard before cache files got buried below real files and I couldn't get them anymore :) |
