Apr 27 03:27:39 Fade ♥ 0 Pretty music, pretty graphics! Gameplay is fun but _hard_, I couldn't get past the first two-hand bit. Also, runs in Wine on Linux! But audio doesn't work there.
Apr 27 03:33:04 5m 25s The Botanist ♥ 1 Satisfying! The gameplay feels nice and fresh, took roughly 1.5 lives to figure out how it works. Graphics and audio are "enough"; minimal and satisfying if not beautiful.
Apr 27 03:41:18 8m 14s WINCH ♥ 0 Very cute! Gameplay felt a bit vanilla, and puzzles (up to the level where you move the barrel-shaped thing to the sensor) felt more like mouse-dexterity challenges =P Some nice graphical touches, like the camera-head following your mouse and being able to see the next levels behind the current one.
Apr 27 03:45:14 3m 56s Touchdown ♥ 1 Groaning before I even started the game. Well played =) Gameplay is fun, and a good difficulty lvl. Graphics are satisfying. Whole premise is hilarious. And it runs in Wine! Nice!
Apr 27 03:56:20 11m 06s Deem ♥ 1 Very pretty! Not sure it was working for me, though: the signs don't seem to say anything, and the cave system is really small. Is there something to do other than build? Also, the violin takes a long time; it doesn't say anything, so I kept pressing z to try to stop, which made it last longer. Music is lovely, graphics are really nice.
Apr 28 06:13:09 26h 16m Peak Oil ♥ 0 Hi! Is there a working Linux download link? This one 404's...
Apr 28 06:25:41 12m 32s The shaft ♥ 1 Lovely visuals and music. Gameplay went from "kinda fun" to "total chaos" when there started to be like six balls at once =) Sound effects make things satisfying. Only gripe is that it's too easy, I made it to level six before I got bored.
Apr 29 02:45:07 20h 19m Graverobber ♥ 1 Graphics are lovely! It's dark and hard to see, I assume that's on purpose =P Gameplay definitely punishes you for mistakes, takes some practice. I like the sort of rhythm part of it. Audio, especially the death sound effects, is nasty, in a good way. (Plus, the Linux build works! =D)
Apr 29 03:32:53 47m 46s Deep Space Journey ♥ 1 Pretty easy (for the first 10 planets or so), feels RNG-based. Maybe it would get more interesting as I play and learn what's important? Feels kinda like FTL, but with only the dialog boxes =P (Also: runs in Firefox, but not in Chromium, for me. But it runs great in Firefox, so hey!)
Apr 29 05:19:27 1h 46m The Rabbit Hole Herald ♥ 1 Hilarious. Mad libs as a Ludum Dare game. Gameplay is a little repetitive, but it's a short game so hey. This is the only game I've played so far that I wanted to take a screenshot of, because it was so funny. Game is 104% inspired =)
Apr 29 05:31:45 12m 18s Oumuamua - From Outer Space to Deeper and Deepr Down the Well ♥ 0 Really fun! The "80% sandbox, 20% game with a goal" feel is interesting. Makes it feel lighthearted, almost joyful, despite having nothing resembling a storyline, lol. I'm super curious how you predict trajectory, wtf kinda math is behind that; first game I've wanted to go look at the source code. Figuring out the physics by trial an error is really fun! One gripe: if the spacecraft flies off into insterstellar space, I have to reload the page, there's no (obvious) way to selfdestruct and start over. It runs pretty slowly in Firefox, faster in Chromium.
Apr 29 06:23:59 52m 14s Where's my dynoMITE? [LD48] ♥ 2 Unfortunately, this barely runs for me... I get like 10fps in Firefox, and it doesn't run at all in Chromium. I'm on Debian Linux. I'd love a Linux build, if that's easy! EDIT: The Windows executable runs great under Wine! This game is hilarious, it reminds me of phone games circa 2012, like Jelly Car. Physics are spazzy, but never got stuck, partly because I think the heli's hitbox changes when you change direction.
Apr 29 06:39:34 15m 35s Roots game ♥ 1 Really cute and satisfying! It's super fun to see the branches go off and do their own thing. That and the zoom out at the end are the details that really make this work, for me. Plus, it runs great in Wine on Linux!
Apr 29 06:49:25 9m 51s Conspiracy Dive ♥ 1 This was hilarious. I loved the people running out the door, and the "This may not have been a good idea." Puzzles and graphics were OK, but I literally lol'd at "trying hard to be surprised" =)
May 1 01:08:00 42h 18m tetronimo! ♥ 1 Works great in Firefox on Linux here! =)
May 1 01:16:18 8m 18s CUBE VS BALL ♥ 0 I like how each round has a distinct trick or pattern to it. It's not just getting better at the game in general, you have to figure out every level. Graphics are tons of fun, the pulsing is a little much on a big screen. Music is hype! Also, runs in Wine on Linux, which is nice!
May 1 02:46:31 1h 30m Drill Away ♥ 1 It's hard to see the UI, hangs over the edges of the screen... Cool concept!
May 1 02:56:42 10m 11s drillerROBOT ♥ 1 So polished, nice job =) and the card mechanic is cool! It would be nice to have a little more variety in the cards, maybe? Many, especially the lava-related ones, weren't useful to me. I guess that's the idea, though. I noticed a few green uranium "cloud" effects lingering after the uranium was gone.
May 1 03:16:02 19m 20s Under Pressure ♥ 1 This is hilarious! The physics definitely has some bugs, lots of torques coming from nowhere... still super impressive. I love the damage system, and the general chaos.
May 1 20:28:41 17h 12m Pipe Dream ♥ 1 Ooh man, _so close_ to being an awesome game! I love the concept and the core mechanics. There are two things that make it not worth playing, though: * Mis-click once, and your whole pipeline is wasted. Yes, this encourages being careful, but it's still frustrating. Same goes, a little less strongly, for forgetting to put a T-junction in the pipe for later. * Sometimes, the water doesn't seem to flow in the pipes? I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a poorly-explained mechanic, but I'm pretty sure I've lost because a pipe randomly chose not to work. The fast pace makes this a killer. The intro text is great, and I like the music, it sounds nice and bubbly =)
May 1 20:39:51 11m 10s Ponzimulator ♥ 2 Love the concept! Gameplay is a little limited? Am I supposed to ignore the people in the small circle after everything starts expanding? The intro music is on point, lol.
May 2 21:50:16 25h 10m Bad Night ♥ 1 Atmospheric! The game really slows down if I look up to the horizon, though. (i7 6560u, integrated graphics, 1920x1080 or 3200x1800) So I have to stare at the ground while I drag the body, lol. Escaping the dogs is _hard_! I keep dying there, and don't want to keep staring at the ground for a few minutes while I try again...
May 2 22:01:19 11m 03s Lift Your Spirits ♥ 0 I love the mechanics! The game is short and not too hard, I'd love these barrels worked into a proper roguelike =P
May 4 06:43:11 32h 41m Watery Crave ♥ 1 Excellent game! I love the graphics and the music. Gameplay is super engaging, and a really creative take on a platformer. It's also really hard, a few sections took me 20+ tries and I eventually gave up. But, well, it was engaging enough that I tried 20 times =) The atmosphere is great, with the audio and different mechanics making it clear that you're not supposed to be outside the water. There's a bug with the inputs, sometimes an arrow key doesn't work. Maybe if you hit e.g. up and right at the same time? I'm not quite sure, but sometimes the inputs are funky. Also, occasionally the bouncy flowers don't bounce me any higher.
