| Oct 6 02:47:57 | Blast Core | ♥ 1 | Loved the music. The curving of the bullets was awesome, and I'm really interested to dive into the source code to see how you pull that off. My feedback would be around how fast the enemies come at you when you move... so I tended to just soot from one place. Overall very cool! | |
| Oct 6 02:52:10 | 4m 13s | SPINNING FACES | ♥ 1 | Simple concept, but enjoyable. I found myself just kinda getting in the flow and played for a while. One bug I found was that the one (and only) time I died... I ended up spawning where the line of smiley faces were... and they repeatedly killed me at the spawn point. Overall fun game to relax with! |
| Oct 6 02:55:49 | 3m 39s | RingCastle | ♥ 1 | Pretty wild aesthetic, art, and animations. I had a bit of a hard time figuring out what I had to do. But I felt like the game is the beginnings of something really interesting! |
| Oct 6 03:02:35 | 6m 46s | Break The Loop | ♥ 3 | Awesome. One of my faves so far. Made it to level 9 (with the tiny tight loop). I loved the beam sound. Also, just generally felt like I was getting better and better as the game went along. |
| Oct 6 03:14:12 | 11m 37s | DEATH STRING | ♥ 1 | Amazing. I ingnored your warnings about performance and played on WebGL... and yeah, there were some camera issues on the last level.. but... The game was awesome!!! Honestly loved it. Nice difficult curve. New enemies were introduced in controlled ways. It felt satisfying to shock enemies. The end boss brought it all together! |
| Oct 6 03:20:12 | 6m 00s | Strange Planet | ♥ 2 | Simple but fun. Smooth difficulty curve. Nice sound effects. Some funny moments. Cute Art. Also is it just me or are the aliens the github Octocat... |
| Oct 6 03:27:37 | 7m 25s | Mr. Cheeks Sweet Dreams | ♥ 4 | Mr.Cheeks and I struggled to get down that endless pit! I don't know if either of us will be having sweet dreams tonight. Probably dreams of spikey things and missed opportunities to get some sweets. |
| Oct 6 03:32:07 | 4m 30s | Load It | ♥ 3 | wtf. I love the creativity. Probably one of the more creative games I've played in the jam. |
| Oct 6 03:36:45 | 4m 38s | Peck-It! | ♥ 2 | ROFL. I laughed out loud a few times at the clucking. I found it a little difficult to click on the bugs using a mouse (probably would be easier on mobile). At first I thought I was directing his head, then later I realized I needed to directly click on bugs. Art was nice, music was great, sounds effects hilarious. Overall fun :) |
| Oct 6 03:42:38 | 5m 53s | Bjorn to Dance | ♥ 3 | Art is perfect. Also, the general UI was well laid out and a strong aesthetic. It was clear pretty quick what had to happen. Love the scene transitions, and just how well the animation looked. Clever twist on Simon Says! |
| Oct 6 03:48:47 | 6m 09s | W.M.L.F | ♥ 1 | Solid. The mechanics made sense right away. The art style was consistent. The Lamas cute. |
| Oct 6 03:52:18 | 3m 31s | Feedback Loop | ♥ 2 | what just happened. |
| Oct 6 03:55:44 | 3m 26s | TowerStuck | ♥ 5 | Solid entry into the Tower Defense genre. I enjoyed the art. I found the aiming of the crossbows a little inaccurate, but overall got the job done. |
| Oct 7 19:26:42 | 39h 30m | Clone Arena | ♥ 2 | One of the best 'looping' mechanics I've seen. I found the difficulty curve a little steep, but I really did like the concept and found myself playing it for a while. I felt a little dizzy/nauseous with the aiming and camera movement... and I preferred to be zoomed out (could it maybe be zoomed out all the time)? Honestly, of all the games I've played... this one as a concept might have the most potential. |
| Oct 8 13:07:52 | 17h 41m | Spinnerets | ♥ 1 | I didn't have a second person to play with, so I just tested this using two different buttons on my keyboard. I loved the art aesthetic and sound. This is the first game I've played using PyGame, and I think you did a great job with it. I'll have to check out PyGame in the future! The powerups were fun to try and get. Also I think the feeling of shooting and bumping in to things felt good. Overall great submission! |
| Oct 11 06:12:18 | 65h 04m | Beat Bash | ♥ 1 | I mean, where to start. Art is on point. The music is spectacular. I love how everything (including the menus) moves to the beat. I found the tutorial section a little cluttered, but still got the hang of it pretty quick. One of the best entries! |
