Apr 21 03:02:17 To the Moon and Back... ♥ 1 Very interesting idea! This is a pretty ambitious project for a weekend-long jam.
Apr 21 03:10:51 8m 34s Captain Bean and lil JalapeƱo ♥ 1 I would add some notes about the controls here on your submission page.
Apr 21 03:25:17 14m 26s House Party! ♥ 1 This is pretty polished! Very nice work on the graphics, and the controls feel nice. It seemed a bit too easy; I didn't have any problem finishing once I figured out the mechanics. I would recommending changing the game window size on your itch.io settings page to fit the entire game without going into full screen mode. Nice submission!
Apr 21 03:42:02 16m 45s Neighbor - a spooky pixel adventure ♥ 1 Very nice! The shifts in music at different stages were very effective. A couple of glitches: at the very beginning the text was TINY and unreadable, and when Mike was in the tavern I was still able to get his dialogue in front of his house even though his graphic wasn't there. Great atmosphere!
Apr 21 14:28:56 10h 46m Party Killer ♥ 0 Best visuals I've seen so far in the jam! Really, really well polished. My wife and I liked trying to hit each other with trick shots off of the walls! I'd like to see some sort of end point--maybe the first player to 10 points is the overall winner?
Apr 21 14:44:57 16m 01s The big plant protection programme ♥ 1 Very nice! A solid implementation of a classic tower defense game. I had some issues with the buttons on your itch.io page; clicking on buttons on the start menu would actually trigger the buttons lower down on the screen! It seemed to be fine in the actual game, though. I also couldn't see the shop at all until I maximized the game. Good entry!
Apr 22 00:23:35 9h 38m Eat it ♥ 1 I like the simple controls! Very nice graphics. Wasn't crazy about the repetitive audio. Nice submission!
Apr 22 01:06:59 43m 24s Wayward ♥ 5 Very interesting! Full marks for innovation. I don't know if I would call it a "game" so much as an "experience", but it's really cool! The music gave me weird vibes of hearing recordings played backwards... kind of eerie and unsettling. The moment at the end that reveals your entire path is brilliant!
Apr 22 17:09:54 16h 02m My Mother is a Caravan? ♥ 4 Very nice! This is an impressive amount of content for one weekend. The art and music are good, and the concept is silly but fun. I noticed that there were some times when I couldn't walk through an entry that looked like it should have been open; I wasn't sure whether or not this was intentional.
Apr 22 17:17:22 7m 28s Mutiny ♥ 1 Fun concept! Reminds me a bit of FTL. I found that the biggest issue I ran into was determining which morale bar went with which pirate. You might consider color coding the pirates or putting each pirate's indicator right next to him as he moves from station to station.
Apr 22 18:27:56 1h 10m Bloody Musician ♥ 1 Some really cool stuff here! The graphics are a lot of fun, and I enjoyed the bagpipe music. I died a couple of times without knowing why; I thought that I was being pretty accurate with the notes? One challenge for me was that the computer keyboard keys moved in the opposite direction of keys on a piano (I would expect to press A for the lowest note and S for the next note up); as a piano player this threw me off a bit!
Apr 22 18:36:50 8m 54s Keep it Lit ♥ 0 I like the lighting effect! It gave the game a nice ambience. I think that more in the way of instructions would be useful; it was hard to tell what I was being asked to accomplish.
Apr 23 22:05:09 27h 28m a funeral. ♥ 1 Mood was really good, and the click-to-move controls worked well. Each time I played I ran into a bug at some point where the player would switch to the "holding a log" animation but not actually pick up the log; this prevented me from picking up any other logs, and so I had to watch the fire slowly die. Sadness.
Apr 23 22:27:11 22m 02s Little Light Of Mine ♥ 2 Mood is really good! I'm a fan of Don't Starve, and this definitely had some similar gameplay. I did level 1 and thought "this seems really easy... is this really the whole game?" I then skipped to level 5 and had a very different experience! The slow character movement was a bit frustrating, but I suppose it's almost required for a game like this.
Apr 24 01:23:49 2h 56m In A Game Wherein ♥ 0 Ugh, fine, I'll finish my game. Happy now?
Apr 24 01:31:09 7m 20s tyle ♥ 1 Very polished! One of the most aesthetically pleasing games that I've seen in the jam. I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only person in the jam to include a leaderboard!
Apr 24 16:30:50 14h 59m Overly Fragile Relationships ♥ 1 Very interesting idea! The consequences of my decisions seemed very realistic. The UI was a bit tricky at first; I couldn't find any visible indicator of who I had already invited.
Apr 24 16:38:43 7m 53s Turtle Daddy ♥ 2 One of the best I've seen so far! The art is really impressive for a three-day jam. I love the design of the player character! The music had some high energy, but it got annoying fairly quickly. Good stuff!
Apr 24 17:53:57 1h 15m For Seraphina ♥ 1 You definitely captured a distinct mood with this one. I like that this explores different territory of what games can be used for; they needn't always be about fun and excitement. One note on the music: Kevin Macleod has very specific requirements for how to give credit for his work, so you may want to take a look at his website and adjust your game description accordingly. I've used his songs for many projects, so I'm pretty familiar with the process!
