| Oct 8 16:06:18 | Big Bang | ♥ 0 | Not sure what to do in this game, and it does not come with instructions. There is a timer that counts down from 60, and I control a cube that can push red balls around. However, after about 20 seconds there appears a game over screen and the game just quits. This feels very much unfinished. | |
| Oct 8 16:15:42 | 9m 24s | !Another Chance | ♥ 3 | Nice little "choose your own adventure" type game with minimalistic artstyle. It would be good to be able to skip the text, especially on the second playthrough. |
| Oct 8 21:34:56 | 5h 19m | Alchemicraft | ♥ 2 | I thought it was over with the "Really Long Sword", as it felt really powerful, but then I discovered the other part of the island and finally finished the game! It is a charming survival/crafting game similar to Don't Starve. I really dig the 1-bit graphics and retro sound effects :) The controls were a bit confusing at first, I also didn't know the names of the items right away as they are only shown in the recipes, but not in the inventory. Exploring the island and finding new crafting materials was a nice experience! |
| Oct 8 21:56:57 | 22m 01s | The Story of You | ♥ 1 | Cool idea and interesting gameplay mechanic. It does get repetitive after a while. Not sure about the audio, I didn't hear anything - technical issue maybe? |
| Oct 9 20:48:56 | 22h 51m | Garbage Shop | ♥ 1 | I played for about three in-game days, hoping for more content but it looks like every day is the same and there is no real progression. It would be cool if there was some more variation, or a goal to work toward - other than that it's a nice little game! |
| Oct 9 21:19:14 | 30m 18s | The Void | ♥ 1 | This entry takes the theme of "you start with nothing" quite literally, as there is not even a game in the traditional sense. It is a kind of sandbox programming environment where you can create interesting effects using three types of particles and a custom scripting language. To be honest it was a bit too much for me to handle, it took me 10 minutes to come up with a working command in the game's scripting language and then gave up shortly afterward. It would be cool to see some examples of what is possible though. |
| Oct 9 21:30:55 | 11m 41s | Everydate | ♥ 3 | I love the artstyle and atmosphere, really well done! A refreshing take on dating sims (or dating in general?). I had a good laugh at the beginning, where you started the conversation with literally no options at all. |
| Oct 10 11:31:44 | 14h 00m | To The Depths | ♥ 1 | What is otherwise a cool game that is also nice to look at gets killed by horrible balancing. I need more than 5 dives to get the first upgrade, and then it increases my performence only ever so slightly. By the time I get some more upgrades it already gets very annoying and repetitive and the diving still feels the same as in the beginning, with no more interactions except steering downward and waiting for the money counter to increase. This has potential, but it needs to be tweaked a little bit! |
| Oct 11 22:58:08 | 35h 26m | Living Forrest | ♥ 1 | Nice strategy game, reminds me a little bit of Tower Defense. In the end it gets really tough, I was around year 14 when an army of bulldozers teared my forest down :'| It's a nice touch to see the trees slowly growing over time, especially when you manage to survive for more than a couple of years - good job with the graphics too, everything is really nice to look at! |
| Oct 12 20:09:11 | 21h 11m | Draconomics | ♥ 3 | Really nice graphics, interesting concept! The balancing is a little bit off unfortunately, it took a long time until it got challenging. |
| Oct 12 20:24:25 | 15m 14s | When Nothing Came | ♥ 3 | This game really is a work of art, it feels very poetic, I like the feeling going through this world. Gameplay wise it felt more like an interactive story book. For a short time I was convinced that there was a puzzle about re-arranging the letters, but then I got to the end easily by just randomly clicking on words and walking back and forth. All in all it was a good experience, thank you for this charming entry! :) |
| Oct 12 20:29:55 | 5m 30s | Bankbusters | ♥ 1 | A wacky game about blowing up a bank. Very simplistic gameplay, but still kinda fun. |
| Oct 12 20:43:40 | 13m 45s | Glorbo's Kingdom | ♥ 2 | Nice gameplay mechanics, I like how the difficulty is balanced, it is challenging yet not impossible. The graphics are also pretty good :) |
| Oct 12 20:55:04 | 11m 24s | the universe, i think | ♥ 0 | Idea is cool, but it has too many issues to be playable. |
| Oct 12 21:05:18 | 10m 14s | Necros | ♥ 1 | Reminds me a lot of "Infectonator: World Dominator". I like the retro pixel sprites! The huge skeletons are very powerful. |
| Oct 12 21:16:58 | 11m 40s | Monks Can Into Space | ♥ 3 | Very funny intro, a collection of three micro games. Gameplay feels nice and polished, you should make a version with more games. Really love the sound effect when you click on the musical notes! |
| Oct 12 21:34:30 | 17m 32s | Sandbox CTF | ♥ 1 | I realize the goal is capture the flag, but I never got there as I was sidetracked by the crafting ;) |
| Oct 12 22:01:22 | 26m 52s | Polterheist | ♥ 2 | I cracked up at the dialogue lines, the humor in this game is top notch! It was easy enough to figure out the puzzles, and I had a lot of fun letting all these characters talk to each other. The ending seems a bit out of place though, not sure what I achieved by smashing that window. Did I kill the boss? A short outro sequence would have been nice I think. |
| Oct 12 22:12:51 | 11m 29s | Life. I guess. | ♥ 0 | It's interesting to see how the individual cards affect your stats. I wonder how many endings there are, found two so far! :) |
| Oct 13 09:10:14 | 10h 57m | Reutemeteut (web) | ♥ 1 | Not sure how it fits the theme, but it's a solid platformer with mechanics similar to Super Meat Boy. Good job! |
| Oct 13 09:13:00 | 2m 46s | HUNTER HUNGER | ♥ 1 | A really cool game, eating little animals and growing is very rewarding as a mechanic. Actually, with all these mechanics like wall slide/stick it would be really interesting to see different level designs. As it is, there is only one level and it's kind of short given the polished gameplay and graphics. |
| Oct 13 09:20:48 | 7m 48s | Grip of Despair | ♥ 1 | It IS kind of unfinished, though the main mechanics work well already, good job on that! I would have liked to see my score upon finishing the game though. |
| Oct 13 09:49:19 | 28m 31s | Running | ♥ 0 | Really like the idea behind the game. It seems really unfinished, but I enjoyed the weird physics! :D Record with backing up is 2.881 seconds. Really running the loop, something around 8. |
| Oct 13 10:25:23 | 36m 04s | &zwsp; | ♥ 1 | A lovely puzzle/adventure game! Most of the combinations actually made sense, so I got very far by just thinking logically :) At first I didn't see the textbox because I didn't have fullscreen enabled. I really appreciated the little details, like the musical instruments and the bonus items |
