| Oct 26 22:06:13 | Build Or Die | ♥ 0 | This game is very cool and I was surprised that it actually had an ending. The flying physics made it hard to control but I think that was the point? Very good entry. | |
| Oct 26 22:15:38 | 9m 25s | Jared's Fresh Start | ♥ 1 | I really liked the tutorial. Cool game, I didn't expect the graphics to be this good:) I guess you want contructive criticism too, however. So... the game is a bit too easy. The zombies aren't really a threat, many of them don't even attack. The shotgun feels pretty weak, even though it isn't - maybe faster bullets would make it feel more "punchy"? And there's a small issue - pausing the game doesn't actually pause it at all :P |
| Oct 26 22:21:37 | 5m 59s | ZERO: UNDIVIDED HEROES | ♥ 1 | The game has very cool gameplay and thats the most important thing. The AI of enemies is good for what it is. Not too passive, not too agressive. Cool idea with using enemies as hitpoints. I would only change one thing. You use sprites of all the numbers - but they seem to have the same power. It would be cool if higher digits would have more health or powers (even though it doesn't fit the theme of multiplying by zero) |
| Oct 26 22:28:02 | 6m 25s | Something from Nothing | ♥ 1 | I see a cool idea for a game and a lot of tiny improvements and quality of life things that most people wouldn't think about adding. Highlighting the slots for letters, having to click few times to reset progress and unlocking a hint after a while - very cool. Congrats on this entry :) |
| Oct 26 22:33:01 | 4m 59s | Game Design Simulator 98 | ♥ 1 | Very creative and nice executed. Congrats :) |
| Oct 26 22:38:01 | 5m 00s | Beyond the Horizon | ♥ 0 | Very cool game. As someone mentioned, the font is a bit small - it would work for a TV or big monitor, but for a web game it was hard to read. Great graphics, music was simple but fitting. The map unraveling in front of your eyes is a very nice effect. Is the map randomly generated? |
| Oct 26 22:48:09 | 10m 08s | La incroyable vie de Skjewich Sciktosjiy Pswkeskek, le vice-roi en l'ebanissment | ♥ 1 | @pegasus I agree, for a long time I couldn't figure it out |
| Oct 26 23:15:27 | 27m 18s | No-Thing Island | ♥ 1 | Very cool. I admit, I couldn't finish it but that might be because of being sick with the flu :P |
| Oct 26 23:29:05 | 13m 38s | Planet Z33 | ♥ 0 | Very cool game. I'm gonna play it again when I have more free time! |
| Oct 26 23:38:15 | 9m 10s | Elementary Trouble | ♥ 1 | Cool game :) |
| Oct 26 23:43:52 | 5m 37s | Unwritten | ♥ 0 | Very impressive. Reminds me of some very good indie games :) |
| Oct 26 23:59:48 | 15m 56s | Slimy Situation | ♥ 1 | Impressive mechanics! |
| Oct 27 00:10:10 | 10m 22s | World of Nothing | ♥ 1 | A cool game but it could really use a tutorial / manual with all the items explained. |
| Oct 27 00:21:53 | 11m 43s | Cupcake Quest | ♥ 0 | This game actually has potential if you add more levels! |
| Oct 28 02:24:25 | 26h 02m | The Chronicles of StĂȘnio | ♥ 0 | The presentation is very good. But I assume that when you are so advanced you want to hear what could be improved, so here it goes. Enemies - took too many hits to kill. I just ran around them whenever I could. Also, they could be cheesed to fall of the game area. The combat had nice animation, but it lacked the punch. And the biggest flaw - the control scheme! I'm sorry, but running with control and attacking with X or enter... nope :P Is there any point in getting the crystals? Other that - really cool game. Mix of zelda and unepic |
| Oct 28 02:33:37 | 9m 12s | Diebarians | ♥ 1 | Very cool game for a one person. Nice drawing! If you make the interface a bit more modern, it will be a really nice game:) Adding a story in such a short time is very impressive. |
| Oct 28 02:41:43 | 8m 06s | Art, Not N.O.T.H.I.N.G. | ♥ 1 | Cool game. Has a strong theme going on, with the pixel graphics and music choice. The shooting feels good, it would be even better with some sound for it. I understand the pixel graphics, but it could use at least a bit of detail. Sometimes it was hard to tell what is killing me / where I can go etc. The controls required some precision, but I assume that was the idea :) |
| Oct 28 02:55:57 | 14m 14s | Never Ending Entropy | ♥ 1 | Definitely one of the best games I played this LD Jam. Very cool story, mystic and fitting the theme. Perfect usage of minimal graphics. Very nice lights and particle effects. Game Juice is just perfection. The shaking camera, the background particles, the simple animations. Postprocessing, camera laggy just enough to feel organic. Good job fellow slavs! My only suggestion - adding some kind of marker to show the way or a map. In the end it was hard to find a way to unexplored area. |
| Oct 28 18:07:21 | 15h 11m | Crystal of Creation | ♥ 1 | Cool idea. I don't know what others have mentioned, I am too sick with the flu to read everything haha. But here's my opinion: music - very cool. Fits nicely. graphics - nice of you to inform that you use assets, that's honest. And you did create an interesting world with them. Very nice that you included in game manual and a storyline. Mechanics are cool but they could use some small improvements: add a crosshair! maybe add some kind of a way of knowing where there is an object to materialize? The crosshair could change the color, or there could be some particles. Clicking around everywhere isn't that much fun when you miss so many times, especially in the later parts :/ And I don't know if it's a bug, but sometimes it felt like shooting just doesn't work. It's weird because the "power meter" (that's what it is I assume) was close to full for me at all times. With a bit of work after the jam it will be a very cool game. |
| Oct 28 18:38:47 | 31m 26s | Lunar Revenge | ♥ 1 | As others said, getting to the items took a bit too long. Especially with the monotone area. I liked the controls though, you could look around independently from walking - that's cool :D |
| Oct 29 01:26:24 | 6h 47m | Chasing Light | ♥ 1 | I love the art style. Everything fits nicely! |
| Oct 29 19:36:09 | 18h 09m | Muscle Typer | ♥ 1 | This game is so realistic, I feel my IQ drop |
| Oct 29 19:55:28 | 19m 19s | Summoning Soup | ♥ 1 | The visuals are great and so is the music / sound effects. There's storytelling which is impressive for a jam game, and choosing a level in game instead of a menu is a nice plus ;) Another thing I like is that there are 3 different bosses with multiple phases and attacks instead of few generic enemies. Very ambitious for such short time! If you want to improve something, I would give a better way to tell your own and enemy health. And maybe a better indication if I'm actually damaging the boss. I know there was a sound effect, but it would be even better if there was some particles etc. Also, make it more obvious what parts of boss you should attack and when he is invulnerable. And unfortunately, the game is a bit buggy. |
| Oct 29 20:03:22 | 7m 54s | Slimy Dungeon | ♥ 2 | The game is very cute. Controls are smooth. If you want to improve it, you can make the initial shooting speed a bit faster. It was really annoying to wait for each shot. Another thing is the tutorial, the camera follows you too slow. First I didn't realize when I left the game through the door, and then I didn't even realize when I start it. I just moved up and I was in the first level. It is a great idea to have tutorial in the game though. Cool game :) |
