| Oct 8 15:56:31 | Not My Hoarder | ♥ 2 | The music and aesthetic fit well with one another and it was pretty funny ! ^^ That's an original use of the theme as instead of trying to get away from the state of having nothing, you try to get back to it I loved it, keep it up ! | |
| Oct 8 20:37:58 | 4h 41m | Nothing to Say | ♥ 4 | I really loved it ! It's a calm refreshing game and the graphics are really cute ^^ Plus, that's a very original take on the theme :) |
| Oct 9 06:24:16 | 9h 46m | Spikt | ♥ 1 | The audio contributed pretty well to the atmosphere and it was really nice to have checkpoints regularly. I didn't understand I could go back to find the arms the first time because I didn't see the other platform (I only checked again after I saw the other robot in your screenshot x) ). Also I got stuck under a vertical moving platform once :/ Other than that, I had fun ^^ |
| Oct 9 07:02:51 | 38m 35s | Peak Performance | ♥ 0 | It's actually really fun ! Trying to figure out how to make all the peaces fit together to automate the processes can be tricky sometimes but it was really interesting :) Also, that was a good idea to not make the end portal end the game directly, in case we still wanted to have fun with what we created before ^^ |
| Oct 9 22:02:03 | 14h 59m | Fit the Sticky | ♥ 0 | Hilarious and fun ! That's an original way of using the theme and it works quite fine. The level was pretty hard, it took me a lot of try to pass it (and not with the best of scores x) ) but in the end, that was satisfying ! |
| Oct 10 01:22:33 | 3h 20m | The Factory | ♥ 2 | The creepy atmosphere works pretty well and the audio and graphics complements each other to give this mysterious and eerie ambience. I don't know if it's just for me but the window was pretty small, it could be even better if it could be bigger. One of the most unique entries I saw so far ! |
| Oct 10 02:37:57 | 1h 15m | Small Mouse, BIG SHOES! | ♥ 1 | It's 4am, I could be doing a lot of things, and among those things I'm racing a rabbit who can go through walls while being watched by Peter Griffin; Was it worth it ? Totally! It was probably the funniest game I played on this jam Good job ^^ |
| Oct 10 02:53:20 | 15m 23s | Who cares if it's buggy, just ship it! | ♥ 2 | That was fun :) Will the arcade mode be implemented later or did I miss what I was supposed to do ? Nice artstyle and great dialogues btw ^^ |
| Oct 10 03:08:16 | 14m 56s | Letterout | ♥ 1 | Original approach to the theme ^^ As mentioned by someone else I would use a softer sound for the wrong word mistake :) |
| Oct 10 03:17:10 | 8m 54s | All Hallow's Harvest | ♥ 1 | Simple yet effective ^^ I liked the artstyle and the music fits very well with the theme :) |
| Oct 10 03:42:03 | 24m 53s | Cell | ♥ 1 | The last part with the spikes is pretty hard, I would've put another checkpoint somewhere around the wings and the crown. It was pretty fun though, after multiple tries, I finally reached the crown and that was satisfying ^^ Especially for a first entry, that's pretty good, keep it up ! |
| Oct 10 13:38:16 | 9h 56m | The Greatest Game in the World | ♥ 3 | It sure was unique x) I loved the meta-humor and how you made the interactions with the code, it was fun ! |
| Oct 10 13:51:05 | 12m 49s | Minno | ♥ 1 | An original interpretation of the theme, and a nice inventory management game :) |
| Oct 10 14:57:48 | 1h 06m | Beyond the Veil | ♥ 3 | It was great ! I liked the aesthetic and the mechanics of choices giving you different powers ! Were you inspired by the tale of "Blue Beard" ? |
| Oct 10 15:29:53 | 32m 05s | Lucifer's Rise | ♥ 1 | Loved the artstyle and the overall aesthetic, it was very cute, and the mechanic of going back and forth between shops hoping that the item you bought had gained value was surprisingly fun ^^ |
| Oct 11 00:35:58 | 9h 06m | Chorus Critters | ♥ 2 | I loved it ! That was so fun seeing and hearing the people and animals singing along in the background ! Truly a unique entry and an original interpretation of the theme ! |
| Oct 11 20:35:47 | 19h 59m | Noctisa | ♥ 1 | It's always good to have some narrative games for a game jam ^^ and I like the minimalist approach :) **spoiler** Something I would do a little different is varying the buttons for doing a "good" or a "bad" actions, because you quickly realise that one means good and the other one means evil (roughly) and that can (in my subjective opinion) affect the player's engagement because they don't have any effort to do to figure out what choice to make according to the way they want to play - Then again, maybe making it clear for the player is what's intended, so I guess that depends on your approach ^^ It's been a pleasure to play it regardless ! |
| Oct 13 14:02:59 | 41h 27m | Kobold Simulator | ♥ 0 | It's amazing that you used a custom engine for the jam ! It was a bit difficult (the humans kept getting back their stuff) but still enjoyable :) |
| Oct 14 20:57:37 | 30h 54m | The Legend of Nothing | ♥ 2 | Very cute game ^^ I liked that you could pet the racoons and cats :) I went until I got the swimsuit and it was fun being able to freely swim where you died several times previously x) |
| Oct 15 00:13:52 | 3h 16m | Start With No Cat | ♥ 1 | @maimai It worked :) It was fun, I liked the cute aesthetic and the game was not too long. A bug I noticed is if you get the souls AND die (if you shoot right before dying and get te last soul) then the souls are added to your shelves but you have to do the level again, nothing that breaks the game or stops the progression but I thought I'd let you know ^^ Thanks for the game ! |
| Oct 15 19:44:41 | 19h 30m | Nothing For Heaven | ♥ 1 | I loved the aesthetic ^^ Congrats on your first (of many hopefully) game jam ! :) |
| Oct 16 17:35:31 | 21h 50m | Big Brain Boy: An Intellectual Odyssey (now with GALAXY EDITION) | ♥ 2 | I liked the meme humor, the phases where you had to both answer questions and avoid the bullets were fun :) @niborious I don't think there is any "impossible to answer question", it's just that the answer to these seemingly impossible questions is not the entire demonstration of the theorems and stuff ^^ (there is no actual question in these ""questions"" when you think about it :) |
