| May 18 21:20:37 | It's a Bee World | ♥ 1 | I beat it! Would be even better with random generation, and like others have said, more enemies. | |
| May 18 21:59:14 | 38m 37s | Space Donut | ♥ 0 | Cute pixel art, but it would look nicer if the 'pixel sizes' were more similar between sprites. I love the gameplay, it's a really interesting take on tower defense games and I'd love to play more! |
| May 18 22:22:01 | 22m 47s | Id's Journey | ♥ 2 | I like the zip file name almost as much as I like the graphics. ...and I really like that zip file name. As for gameplay, my only big problem with it was the jump speed. It was hard to get the jump just right when it went so quickly. |
| May 20 15:11:57 | 40h 49m | Advanced Mitosis | ♥ 0 | I love the enemies. At first I thought their pathfinding was too stupid, but then you used that 'flaw' to great effect in the Encagement level. The level design was fantastic, and I'd love to play more. |
| May 20 15:24:23 | 12m 26s | Hopeless Void | ♥ 2 | Very interesting, and it's simple enough that I could see this being made into a board game (which I would totally play). Great use of the theme, the resource management was difficult but entertaining, even though I couldn't beat it. The audio did a very, very good job of setting the tense mood of the game. Great job! |
| May 20 15:38:00 | 13m 37s | Goodbye, world! | ♥ 2 | I love both Scorched Earth and Worms, and putting the game on a small planet with an orbit is a really interesting take on their ideas. It would've been better with more weapons or items, but it's good for what it is. |
| May 20 15:40:51 | 2m 51s | CryoDream .2 | ♥ 1 | This is really simple, but really cool. I like how the graphics that generate sort of look like weird alien worlds, fitting the theme in an odd way. Even though it's not really a game, good job! |
| May 20 16:25:04 | 44m 13s | Lottery: you judge them I judge you | ♥ 1 | Very interesting. I've seen similar games before, but this stands out in having dialogue that changes depending on who is on screen, which makes the decision much tougher. I also liked the final decision in the game, which I don't think I've seen in a game before. The judging could be done better, but besides that, this is great. |
| May 20 16:32:18 | 7m 14s | Abaddon | ♥ 0 | I *LOVE* the graphics in this. This is probably the only time I'll ever say this about something, but I think it might look even better with a lower frame-rate. Sadly, I think the 'Small World' theme hindered the game. I would've enjoyed it more if it had a big randomly generated area, like a dungeon or something. I'd definitely play this again if you expanded it. |
| May 20 16:36:47 | 4m 29s | iii | ♥ 1 | The graphics and mechanics were fantastic! The sound effects were effective (I especially liked the increase in pitch with every jump), but this would be much better with some music. |
| May 20 17:20:15 | 43m 28s | Cosmic Flinger | ♥ 1 | I liked the aiming and different types of bullets, but I found that the game got boring quickly. More variation in enemies and quicker difficulty progression would make this more interesting. This would be difficult to fit into a 48 hour period, but maybe an upgrade system and tower building system (making the game more like a tower-defense game) could improve it too? That's just my opinion, and maybe you had something different in mind, but I know that would help me enjoy the game more. I know my review seems kinda negative, but it's not a bad game! Great job, especially with the audio and graphics. |
