Pretty fun, the donut was cool. However I felt the spikes in power for both the power ups and enemies were too high, the next tier made the previous one almost useless. It would be cool to see different types of turrets and some that played with the special nature of the donut. I also thought the art was nice and that the player controls felt good. Nice job.

Quite a nice little game with lot's of potential. But the spawn rate and the damage of the enemies (especially of those shooter guys) is way too high. Even the heavy towers are smoked away in seconds, so at this point, the game feels like it needs alot more balancing. Appart from that graphics and controls feel good so far, even so in my opinion the combination of low resolution pixel art and free rotation always looks a little glitchy. Anyway, good job and thanks for the contribution.

I loved it, really nice game, I think the big monster should give more money it destroy lot of my towers xD

I tried for far longer than I should have to defeat the last guys, but the game at that stage was just impossible to win.

Nice concept, I liked the small simple pixel art and the concept overall. Definitely could use some difficulty balancing and extra stuff to add to the gameplay.

The art was perfect for the theme, cute but still ominous.

I think the game could use a bit more smoothness athough yoyr game is much better than mine!

I couldn't figure out how to do anything besides place turrets and hit things :( The mining doodad was always red and wouldn't place.

Also it would be helpful if you left the instruction screen up until the player presses a button, it vanished before I was done reading...

Thanks, my girlfriend learned pixel art right on the first day of ludum. And she never drawn before

Enjoyed it. Was only left wanting more content.

Fun stuff, the balancing was rough but otherwise neat!

I really like the concept, the spawning rate of the monsters was a bit high. I had fun with the mechanics :)

Very great game, though it's pretty hard. Would need more balancing. The beginning should be easier, and it could get harder as you progress. But I liked it after all! :)

Cool game, but the enemies that shoot at you are way too powerful, and they spawn way too fast. Tried for a while, but couldn't get past that point. Other than that, i think it was a nice game.

The game is genuinely fun. It's very simple to understand the game flow, and it all controls just fine. I had a fun time placing turrets and buildings and such early on, but then started the difficulty spikes. If this game was tweaked just a bit, it could not only be a far superior experience, but allow for a lot of future expansion.

First of all, I love the presentation of the game. Knowing that it's a donut, I expected to see my buildings after going through the whole place, and I was pleasantly surprised when I did. The sounds are alright, and it's all fitting thematically.

The gameplay follows a simple, yet effective loop. Kill the enemies, get more gold, kill more, and so on until you either buy the next upgrade or destroy the next hive. The problem comes with the balancing though. The spikes not only were harsh, but felt unfair:

- At one point, I left the game amassing money just so I could spam enough turrets to kill the cluster of enemies. The ones with guns cut through my defenses with little to no effort.

- I eventually just decided to zoom out (it's always a nice touch when a game has a zooming in and out option) and shoot at the hives from afar. It felt boring and anticlimatic, but it was effective.

Disregarding those problems, I had a blast with this game. Further expansions with more buildings, enemies, and better balance could be something worth revisiting. Nice job!

Cute pixel art, but it would look nicer if the 'pixel sizes' were more similar between sprites.

I love the gameplay, it's a really interesting take on tower defense games and I'd love to play more!

I made the end of the game hard cause the game is short. if you learn all basics at least you can play a bit more trying to destroy last hives. I know i'm not a good balancer.
