| Dec 12 12:49:00 | Possessed Room | Great take on the theme! I loved the graphics, they help a lot in creating a terrifying atmosphere. | |
| Dec 12 13:05:00 | 16m 00s | CrateBlaster | I really liked the game idea. At the beginning I thought controls weren't responding, then I realised that it waits until the intersections.

Graphics are cool as well, although the scene felt a bit detached. Maybe repositoning the camera so it gets closer to the eye could help? The lighting, too, could use a bit of work so the game elements become clearer.

Good job! |
| Dec 12 23:35:00 | 10h 30m | The Classroom | I've failed the dare myself. Twice. T_T

I'm generally hyper sensitive to first-person horror games and your game is no exception, even if by using voxels the effect should(I really like the classroom scene, by the way).

The audio effects combined with the storm and lightning effects, plus the darkness help a lot creating a terrifying atmosphere. I gasp every time I run out of batteries for the flashlight.

Great job! |
| Dec 12 23:51:00 | 16m 00s | The Oval Office | Yeahh, I survived (and so did the world)!

Nice and funny take on Reigns with awesome pixel art. Balancing the four areas here was reasonably easy and made sense.

Awesome job! |
| Dec 13 00:10:00 | 19m 00s | Package Madness 2D | Very cool idea! You can learn your share of Geography with this :D

What's more important, gameplay felt quite responsive to me. Even with the physics collisions, which tend to be tricky to get right in a game, I never got stuck even once, or had problems delivering a parcel, unless it was by my own fault at placing packages too close to the IN belt (so I had to waste time moving them around) -_-U. |
| Dec 13 00:58:00 | 48m 00s | High Ball-Oon | This is impressive, the core gameplay reminds me of a scene of Korn's Freak on a Leash videoclip.

Graphics and the game concept are perfect, and I really dig the sound effects (I'm a fan of the Wilhelm sound and the player piano).

To point a couple of issues, it seemed to have some performance issues (understandable given Unreal, the amount of assets and the 72h of development), sometimes the target locations are hard to reach (Once I had it spawn behind the stairs, WTF!), and I couldn't find a "cancel" button on the power ups menu if you didn't want to select anything.

I've loved this entry, you've nailed it! |
| Dec 13 01:20:00 | 22m 00s | Sonder | I really like the concept that inspires the game (at risk of sounding pedantic, it reminds me a bit of Unamuno's "intrahistory", which I've always felt could have some interesting implications on games as opposed to the usual "chosen one" power fantasy tropes), and both the gameplay mechanic and story bits serve the purpose nicely.

I've had some minor issues selecting and placing characters (perhaps it would help to use the full icon + name box?), but the entry is pretty solid overall. Congrats! |
| Dec 13 01:30:00 | 10m 00s | 1 biT Strike | Quite solid entry, even if the connection to the theme is a bit loose. Music fits very well, by the way.

As far as controls go I'm not a huge fan of having to keep the mouse button down at all times even to move, as it feels a bit sluggish (do you have a mobile port in mind by chance?), perhaps using the mouse motion to move and then mouse down to shoot would work better, but that's me.

Nice job! |
| Dec 13 01:56:00 | 26m 00s | Broken Breakout? | This is a brilliant idea! I really liked the level progression and how you introduce new block types or other game elements.

I've noticed a couple of bugs during my playthrough, but worked around them by resetting the levels: first, Level 4 started with the ball outside the game boundaries, I couldn't tell if it had spawned outside from the beginning or if it fell through the walls on the first frames. Then on level 7 I hit all the green blocks but still wouldn't progress to the next level and hitting the red block on the bottom wouldn't kill me either. |
| Dec 13 02:05:00 | 9m 00s | The Key | I really like the game concept, and you've created a catchy, lovely tune. Nice job!

In terms of feedback, sometimes the context where you could use X or not wasn't clear, I couldn't tell if a button would not work because I was on the wrong perspective or if it was because I was missing some previous steps. |
| Dec 13 13:11:00 | 11h 06m | Color Factory | Cool mechanics. With some polish I can easily imagine this game on a mobile.

At first I made a few mistakes because when I was handled the first quest I had assumed that you were meant to complete the task by using one single block and that you weren't limited to vertical or horizontal lines, so I was trying to form a large blob. Then I managed to make the first match and everything clicked.

Keep it up! |
| Dec 13 13:22:00 | 11m 00s | Pixel Artist Simulator | Great piece of satire.

Tops for graphics and humour. I often found myself smiling even if the topic itself was nothing to laugh about :S |
| Dec 13 19:02:00 | 5h 40m | Inside | Nice game, and very fitting to the theme :)

I liked the gameplay concept, even if collisions weren't perfect. Graphics were nice, too, but as others have mentioned some colour or textures would have been useful. I appreciated that there were some combo animations, am I right? If so, that was a sweet detail. |
| Dec 13 19:19:00 | 17m 00s | Bob & Bernard Against the Nazis | Brilliant art and sound/music. I really cared for the whale, so I was frustrated that I couldn't heal her back during the 5th to 6th break. I don't know if there was a bug or something, but I couldn't get to fill the watering can, and by the sixth enemy wave we couldn't hold on any longer :_(

As for gameplay, it was also very solid, but the waves lasted for quite a bit, which felt a bit slow and repetitive (specially as you had to keep walking back and forth). Perhaps you could improve the pacing by making more frequent, shorter waves and touching a bit the movement speed.

Apart from this, I've really enjoyed this entry, congrats! |
| Dec 13 19:28:00 | 9m 00s | Bat Cave | Choice of keys was a bit strange, at least on Windows (luckily I read the notes first, so I started ), and I have had some problems with the inputs getting stuck once I switched the OS context.

Other than that, the game concept was simple but well executed. Nice job! |
| Dec 13 19:39:00 | 11m 00s | Room of Fear | Very nice art, it kind of reminds me of something :D :D

I had some problems aiming at the beginning, though, it felt a bit glitchy. |
| Dec 13 19:43:00 | 4m 00s | Trump's First Day | Windows link is broken :S |
| Dec 13 19:56:00 | 13m 00s | QuestMatch.Com | Very interesting blend with some funny bits (Pig-man-pig!). Balancing and managing your guildies worked well, and I really dig the combat phase.

Nice job! |
| Dec 13 20:16:00 | 20m 00s | DMG CTRL | The concept caught my attention immediately, and graphics and music played a huge part of it. I loved the detail put into the pixel art.

Gameplay showed a lot of promise, but eventually it became a bit repetitive. Maybe things such as having some tiny lego romans defending the empire or adding defense capabilities to some buildings could help improve it.

The setting and aesthetics are brilliant otherwise, so it would be great to see some more fleshed game mechanics. Still, congrats for an overall solid entry! :) |
| Dec 13 20:35:00 | 19m 00s | Walkie Talkie | Wow, I have no words...(all the characters went to the game to become a level)

I'm seriously impressed. After windowframe (well, and pretty much any of your entries) I was expecting to be surprised, but this is mind blowing. |
| Dec 13 20:53:00 | 18m 00s | Arm's Reach | I love the idea, aesthetics and the execution, although it was a bit hard to control the tentacles and at the same time keep track of the state of the whole room.

Despite this, the game is a really clever take on the theme and very solid overall. Great job! |
| Dec 13 20:57:00 | 4m 00s | Total Eclipse of the Heart | I love the concept, music (:DDD) and art style, but controls are soo frustrating. The 4 screens make it super challenging to grasp the situation. Still, I really dig the idea, so good job! |
| Dec 13 22:05:00 | 1h 08m | The One Room Experiment | Awesome entry! I used a similar concept with a different perspective on LD-31, but graphics and jump controls were less polished than yours. You nailed the retro look here, congrats! |
| Dec 13 22:32:00 | 27m 00s | Tangent | Clever concept, wonderfully executed. Good take on the theme! |
| Dec 13 22:40:00 | 8m 00s | Cancelled Refuge | Wow, the amount of content you've packed into the game (and the quality of it) is impressive for 72h (and even for games with way longer development times). I'm envious :D

Easily one of the best entries I've played so far. I love retro-style games, specially when they feel as polished. |
| Dec 13 22:59:00 | 19m 00s | General Room | Brilliant game! It is awesome in all areas and super cute, but the audio in particular is one of the best I've found so far.

Fantastic job! |
| Dec 14 13:05:00 | 14h 06m | DISCOCUBE | Brilliant idea and great execution :) |
| Dec 14 13:13:00 | 8m 00s | The Tea Room | Brilliant!! |
| Dec 14 20:03:00 | 6h 50m | Detective Noword and the case of the floor tiles | Nice entry! Music helps a lot setting the tone, even if it's slightly comedic, and graphics are detailed and clear.

As for gameplay, I had to click around for a while and then once you find the starting point (which was obvious, shame on me -_-U) it all becomes quite easy to follow.

Except for some typos here and there, the entry is pretty solid. Well done! |
| Dec 14 20:11:00 | 8m 00s | One Room Dungeon | Great little game! You've got quite a cute and solid game here, which is no small feat given the constraints imposed by Pico-8 and the compo mode. Congrats!

The only problem I found was that the tiles at the bottom were partialy hidden by the room walls, which made them a bit hard to see. |
| Dec 14 20:24:00 | 13m 00s | Banira Shio | I love this game! Visuals and audio design are amazing, and I really love the gameplay.

Gameplay is simple but super challenging and I'm still terrible at it, but it feels polished and fair most of the time, so I find myself replaying it again and again.

Amazing entry, congrats! |
| Dec 14 20:43:00 | 19m 00s | Flipper | I beat it! :D

I liked the clear and simple graphic style and the concept was interesting, too.

Gameplay-wise it felt mostly enjoyable except for a couple of issues: walking movement was a bit slow and there were some bugs due to the collision system (I got stuck inside the walls quite a few times, and once I think I actually fell through the floor while falling at a high speed).

Level design made good use of your available mechanics, specially the hook. The mechanic itself was quite fun to use, although a bit glitchy (I played it on a controller, btw).

Keep working on it, with a bit more polish it can easily become a solid game. Great job! :D |
| Dec 14 20:54:00 | 11m 00s | Hacker Café | I liked the concept, a bit "Reigns meets Mr Robot" :)

It was fun to play, although it became a bit repetitive eventually. I didn't get to see if there were connections between some of your actions besides the obvious pluses/minuses to the resources, that would be interesting.

And a small bug: on my first replay one of the notification panels glitched and remained on-screen until I started a new game.

Nice job! |
| Dec 14 21:57:00 | 1h 03m | Fear and Freedom | Nice twist at the end! :) |
| Dec 14 22:27:00 | 30m 00s | Monolith | Nice take on the theme. The sprites were cute, didn't clash too much with the 3D environment and the level design and Metroidvania-style game mechanics were amazing except for the combat, which I found a bit annoying mostly because of it being limited to the XY plane.

The transition effect worked great, too. Awesome job! |
| Dec 14 22:44:00 | 17m 00s | BullyBully Classroom | Brilliant entry, I really like what you did here with the story :)
Gameplay feels quite solid (even if sometimes the AI-controlled units seemed to behave oddly), and the art style is stunning. Nice choice for the music theme, too.

Great job!! :D |
| Dec 15 01:16:00 | 2h 32m | 4/4 Room | Super cool game! At first I didn't realise about the cards and was playing normally (and enjoying it, I really like rogue likes), and then it became even better. Great idea!

The music track was catchy, although it eventually became a bit repetitive (but that's normal in jam games because of the time limit, so I'm okay with that).

Once of my favourite compo entries so far, congrats! |
| Dec 15 01:26:00 | 10m 00s | Puppertrator | The art style on this game was top notch, and the story was interesting and well written. Congrats! |
| Dec 15 12:30:00 | 11h 04m | In That Same Old Room | I love the art style, it helps a lot build an eerie kind of atmosphere. Gameplay is clearly inspired by The Binding of Isaac, which is a good thing :D, and it feels solid, even if movement feels a bit slow.

Quite a nice entry in general, good job! |
| Dec 15 12:40:00 | 10m 00s | Budget Mortuary | Controls felt a bit clunky and glitchy on the web version, but I liked the concept. Nice job! :) |
| Dec 15 12:53:00 | 13m 00s | Empty | I'm mind blown. Awesome concept, challenging gameplay and beautiful execution (I love the music in particular).

Top marks here! Congrats!! :) |
| Dec 15 19:33:00 | 6h 40m | Heavy Industries | Awesome entry! I really liked the graphics and colours, and you added a nice twist to Tetris :)

I managed to multitask and play both parts to get an idea of the mechanics, and I can see how the asymmetric gameplay probably works great here.

Congrats! |
| Dec 15 19:51:00 | 18m 00s | AREA 51 | Fun game! Mechanics were well executed, as well as the level design including well-thought of boss battles. Great job! :) |
| Dec 15 20:21:00 | 30m 00s | Rhythm Rink | Simple idea, but cute and well executed. I think my laptop keyboard couldn't handle the three-key combo (laptop's fault), but I had no other problems otherwise.

Good job! :) |
| Dec 15 20:45:00 | 24m 00s | Tree House Quest | Great game! Fun, with a good, cute, well written story (except for a few typos here and there ;P) and highly polished. I'm impressed at how much content you've packed, not only in terms of assets, but in mechanics as well.

Amazing! |
| Dec 16 01:17:00 | 4h 32m | SpaceBeaver | It was a bit challenging to get the hang of the controls and the circular movement. Also, W/S made for a strange combination to toggle abilities, maybe the numeric keys might have worked better.

Despite this, the visuals are awesome, the concept is cool, too, and there's quite an impressive and polished amount of content for 72h, so congratulations!! :) |
| Dec 16 02:39:00 | 1h 22m | levelone | I love your take on the theme! :D

This is one of the most original games I've played this compo so far. It's genuinely funny AND fun. Amazing job! |
| Dec 16 19:26:00 | 16h 47m | Xenopunch | Great entry as usual. Packed with content and highly polished both in terms of gameplay, sound and visuals. Congrats! :) |
| Dec 16 19:35:00 | 9m 00s | Cat and Robot | Nice! It is slightly similar to my entry, although yours is a better fit to the theme. Nice level design, and a good amount of polish for quite a solid entry. Congrats!! :D |
| Dec 16 21:54:00 | 2h 19m | What happened to Michael? | Very good entry! Graphics and sound design are quite polished, and they contribute to create an atmosphere that reminds me of 80s-90s TV show (not just the super-obvious one :D).

The mechanics twist is also very interesting, and it adds depth to the plot. It makes me think of Groundhog Day, but also visual novel-adventure hybrids, such as the 999/Zero Escape series.

As for potential improvements, I'm afraid I'm not adding anything new, really. The pacing suffers a bit from the lack of an option to skip already seen dialogue or irrelevant options, (If the reason why they're there is to serve as distraction so the actually useful options in one iteration won't feel some spoon-fed, perhaps a bit more variety on those texts could mitigate it a bit).

Besides these details, congrats!! :) |
| Dec 16 23:42:00 | 1h 48m | Feng Shui Master | I'm a fan of Picross games (and Colour Cross, and Picross 3D, and...), so I was naturally attracted to your game and I have to say I'm not disapointed at all. Awesome take on the theme, I'd love to see this turned into a full game! |
| Dec 17 00:40:00 | 58m 00s | Finding Home | Nice art and cute story, it felt like a visual fable, and I believe it could totally work as an interactive book for kids. Great job! |
| Dec 17 18:15:00 | 17h 35m | Little Town | Lovely and superpolished art style. It reminded me of the classic Harvest Moon games, but also of Animal Crossing. It would be nice to see this expanded a bit further, as it shows a lot of promise :) |
| Dec 17 18:30:00 | 15m 00s | One Room - 30 minutes earlier | I loved the art style and how it felt like a CYOA book, the story unfolding differently depending on your choices. I hope you keep working on it (a bit of sound, or even a rainstorm sound track could do wonders with the atmosphere, which was already good)

Great job! |
| Dec 17 20:53:00 | 2h 23m | The Chinese Room | It is a bit challenging to understand what's going on at the beginning, but eventually it all clicked (and as the conversation with the other character I remembered one meaning of the title).

Very innovative concept with some cool graphics, I liked it a lot :D |
| Dec 18 01:18:00 | 4h 25m | One Room | I'm just seeing the background image, no players around :S |
| Dec 18 03:23:00 | 2h 05m | Booking Mama | Super polished entry! I really like the concept, I can easily imagine it turned into a full-fledged game (for example, to give the earnings more meaning that to act like a score, such as getting new rooms or refurbishing the existing ones)

Nice job! :) |
| Dec 18 03:40:00 | 17m 00s | Obelisk | Amazing art style. Gameplay was solid and the controls felt quite responsive. A bit more variation on enemies would have been nice, and like others I had some problems figuring out that the obelisk was actually representing your health (I only figured out just before dying).

These two things aside, the game is fun and polished. Congrats!! :) |
| Dec 18 15:37:00 | 11h 57m | Just pick a number | Game theory in the open, that's quite an interesting concept :)

As far as execution goes, graphics and audio were suitable, but the typing sound for the scrolling text was too strong and felt a bit grating (was it intentional?)

Well done! |
| Dec 18 22:13:00 | 6h 36m | DISK | This is brilliant!! I love the idea, and what can I say about the execution?

It almost looks and feels like a finished game. It's good to see that you're still working on a post-compo version :)

Congratulations! |
| Dec 19 01:00:00 | 2h 47m | Giiver's Hop | Great game! It already feels very solid and polished, even if I did experience some issues with the controls, like the rest. The characters were detailed and cute, and sound and music rate among the best I've found so far.

Congrats! |
| Dec 19 18:58:00 | 17h 58m | Kiln | That's a very interesting idea! Graphics are nice (even if the web background is a bit too strong for my eyes), and puzzle design and pacing are great.

Awesome job! |
| Dec 20 01:43:00 | 6h 45m | Conștiență | Wow, the ending was a shocker! Very nice atmosphere, music and graphics were lovely.

Nice job! |
| Dec 20 13:30:00 | 11h 47m | 1 Room and 48 Hours | Great take on the theme and very solid execution. Congratulations! :D

PS: "???" still gets me most of the time, d'oh. Too focused on jamming! >_< |
| Dec 22 01:36:00 | 36h 06m | [PPP] - Pictorial Packing Passion | Great stress management game :D

I loved the art style and the music was catchy as f*ck, it was easy to get hooked.

Amazing entry, congrats!! |
| Dec 26 18:59:00 | 113h 23m | Shadow Fencer Theatre | Brilliant visuals and audio, it totally feels like a shadow puppet theatre. Top marks here.
The fencing mechanic, though, felt a bit awkward to me, but I'm not generally a fan of physics-reliant combat.

Nice job! |
| Dec 26 19:11:00 | 12m 00s | 12 Angry Tenants | Great entry! Gameplay was fun, well implemented and can get addictive very easily, I was sad to reach the end.

Also, visuals and sound are clear and polished, so the whole game feels very solid. I could easily see this expanded into a larger game.

Awesome job!! :) |
| Dec 27 02:31:00 | 7h 20m | Porno Tales: part 1 (Warning: NSFW!!!) | Fun concept, and relatively polished visuals. Difficulty is still a bit off (mostly the fact that when you're hit you're likely to keep taking damage, as there's no grace period to avoid the incoming wave), but I really like the game mechanics.

Nice job! |
| Dec 27 02:52:00 | 21m 00s | Roomba Rampage | This was super fun!

The roomba controls were solid, the upgrades progression enhanced replayability and I got hooked to the music track. Graphics also felt really polished, and the boxing fight was an absurd, hilarious touch.

Congrats! :) |
| Dec 27 03:02:00 | 10m 00s | Smallest Dungeon | Best sound so far! The song was super catchy, it reminded me of The Dandy Warhols, and I was instantly sold :D
Visuals were super polished, and gameplay was solid as well, but felt a bit confusing due to the frantic speed: it was hard to tell what was happening.

Despite this, this was a brilliant entry. Awesome!! |
| Dec 27 03:07:00 | 5m 00s | Tenement Rush | Great, if dark, take on the theme!

Relative controls can take a while to get used to, but eventually they click. I also tried absolute, which was a bit easier, but didn't really alter the experience much for me.

Nice job! |
| Dec 29 00:06:00 | 44h 59m | Decube | Nice idea and solid execution, with clean and simple visuals. I really like 2D shooters, and yours was well implemented. Great job! |
| Dec 31 17:55:00 | 65h 49m | Super Battle Cycle | Great concept! Controls feel a bit awkward at the beginning and there were some small glitches with the collisions, but the game is very solid, with good pacing and packed with content. Also, nice music! |
| Jan 1 06:49:00 | 12h 54m | The Last Room | Very clever take on the theme. I enjoyed playing it a lot, and the music was unnerving, contributing a lot to create a disturbing mood.

Great job! |
| Jan 1 07:03:00 | 14m 00s | clapclap | Hilarious concept. The angry faces and hisses made my playthrough :D |
| Jan 1 22:49:00 | 15h 46m | FACE MAN | Amazing entry! I love how fluid the controls and animations feel, they are super solid.

Graphics are cool, mechanics are polished, and the setting is quirky and very original. Congrats!! :D |
| Jan 2 00:06:00 | 1h 17m | Karate Basketball | Back in the Middle Ages, when my brother and I played Nintendo World Cup on a crappy NES clone, our strategy consisted of tackling all rival players until they were lying down injured, so we would just be able to score at leisure with special overhead kicks.

Here we have a different sport, but I'm sooo happy to see the same spirit on this entry :_D

The game is quite solid as it is, with great graphics and sound, but just to give some feedback, it would be nice to be able to give some simple instructions to your teammate (or switch control).

I hope you keep working on this, it already shows a lot of promise and the concept is hilarious.

Congratulations!! :D |
| Jan 2 00:40:00 | 34m 00s | INFINIROOM | Amazing entry. The concept was simple, but super effective, and implementation is solid. I can totally imagine this as a full release, and since the control is so simple it could even work on mobile platforms.

I've clocked at 36:96 so far, but I still feel like playing a bit more.

Great, great job! Congrats!! :D |
