That was a fun slant on picross. I'd play more levels of this. The polish and little touches are nice. The core game definitely feels fairly complete. Right click to drop an X might be nice.
Level 5 and 6 seemed fairly easy compared to the previous levels. 4 and 8 seemed much harder.
As a non-picross player that was pretty challenging. I still really enjoyed the variation on the genre though.

I'm a fan of Picross games (and Colour Cross, and Picross 3D, and...), so I was naturally attracted to your game and I have to say I'm not disapointed at all. Awesome take on the theme, I'd love to see this turned into a full game!
Quite challenging, but nice little game :)
