Aug 24 10:51:00 Abnormal slime Couldn't play the game, says the data folder is missing yet the data folder is actually present.
Aug 24 10:57:00 6m 00s The Cauldron of Humanity I found the mood a little shallow, however I had fun overall. I found that little features such as the heal animation were a neat little bonus.
Aug 24 10:59:00 2m 00s GameApi world Took a while to download, but when it finally started running, an exception was thrown: <br/>Vendor: Microsoft <br/>Renderer:Internet Explorer <br/>Version:WebGL 0.94 <br/>VName: comb <br/> OK <br/>(unknown error) <br/>AttachShader: 3 <br/>FName: comb <br/> OK <br/>(unknown error) <br/>AttachShader: 4 <br/>VName: comb <br/> OK <br/>(unknown error) <br/>AttachShader: 6 <br/>FName: comb <br/> OK <br/>(unknown error) <br/>AttachShader: 7 <br/>VName: comb <br/> OK <br/>(unknown error) <br/>AttachShader: 9 <br/>FName: comb <br/> OK <br/>(unknown error) <br/>AttachShader: 10 <br/>VName: empty <br/> OK <br/>(unknown error) <br/>AttachShader: 12 <br/>FName: empty <br/> OK <br/>(unknown error) <br/>AttachShader: 13 <br/>SHADER: 0 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 0 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 0 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 0 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SetDefaultProjection: <br/>SHADER: 1 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 1 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 1 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 1 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SetDefaultProjection: <br/>SHADER: 2 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 2 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 2 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 2 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SetDefaultProjection: <br/>SHADER: 3 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 3 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 3 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SHADER: 3 <br/>BindAttribLocation: 0 <br/>SetDefaultProjection: <br/>NumFaces: 7138 <br/>Face: 0 <br/> <br/>This happened using Microsoft Edge and Chrome browsers also.
Aug 24 11:03:00 4m 00s Morally Upright Siren I found that using the mic made the game more innovate than the rest of the LD games, but I'm not comfortable doing that... so I didn't play.
Aug 24 11:09:00 6m 00s Mutant Snakopede Loved it, 5 stars overall, great job!
Aug 24 11:10:00 1m 00s Fifty shades of chalk Web link took me to a download page, however I enjoyed the game.
Aug 24 11:14:00 4m 00s You are the Slime "Minecraft mobs meets agar.io" -IGN <br/>^^^That's how I imagine IGN would rate it^^^ <br/>neat little game, however I thought you'd be able to swallow the tanks if your slime was big enough.
Aug 24 11:20:00 6m 00s Host Really neat idea! There are things in this game that added to the overall mood, such as naming each individual character. However, I couldn't figure out how to move the character when another one entered as the move button wouldn't work.
Aug 24 11:32:00 12m 00s Lil' Drake GREAT GAME. I loved it- the graphics had a nice NES feel, the levels were blatantly well designed and play-tested, and the physics were well composed. The corpses even bounce when hit by the blades and fall when they having nothing to support them!
Aug 24 11:37:00 5m 00s Minotaur Neat little game, found the messages on the floor added to the mood. I also found the message that says "hi :)"- did I find an easter egg? <br/> <br/>My only problem with the game was that it was hard to find people to kill, and the AI was shallow. <br/> <br/>Banging tunes, though!
Aug 24 11:45:00 8m 00s Beware the Experiment Surprisingly fun game, had a lot of fun figuring out what to do. I really hoped you could pick up the people and throw them through doors and stuff, or at other people. <br/> <br/>Man, there's all this violence going on, but the happy-clappy tunes are just playing away.
Aug 24 11:58:00 13m 00s Is That Me? Blocked by my antivirus and windows, wouldn't let me unblock for some reason. In order to be fair, I haven't rated game because of this.
Aug 24 12:01:00 3m 00s Goon Trip The full-screen rainbow "acid trip" mechanic reminded me of old 2600 games. I couldn't spawn goons for some reason. Nice of you to add a warning at the beginning.
Aug 24 12:06:00 5m 00s A Matter of Survival The innovation was pretty low, however the game itself was fun. The theme relation wasn't very creative and didn't go further than the fact that you're just a monster. The humor was quite shallow, yet the audio reminded me of happy wheels so that upped it a bit. Overall, not bad :)
Aug 24 12:31:00 25m 00s Pavorman "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them." <br/>This is the message I received while attempting to open the game, and therefore could not run it :(
Aug 24 12:41:00 10m 00s The Much Loved Monster Neat little game for as little time as you had. Most people go too ambitious even for as little time as 4 hours, yet you kept it reasonable and the outcome is worthy of playing. <br/> <br/>I found the story surprisingly easy to paint a picture for... does that make ME the monster? :o
Aug 24 12:43:00 2m 00s You'll find the monster when it's over The sounds are playing and I can interact with the program, but nothing shows up. <br/>On Windows 10 if that information is of any use.
Aug 24 12:52:00 9m 00s That Fateful Night I really loved the exploration aspect, and the fact that you can move from house to house is interesting. The rain effects are trippy yet cool. I would've thought that this game would be marked as inappropriate for some users as it is quite gory, but it was fine for me.
Aug 24 12:57:00 5m 00s Ladybirds massacre Honestly, I don't know what's going on.
Aug 24 13:20:00 23m 00s Monster Of All Trades The game and instructions were quite confusing, however it's a neat little idea. Wish there was more to it though.
Aug 24 15:24:00 2h 04m Detonate I played through the whole game; except i played the hard mode about ten times before giving up. At first I was confused, I was just trying to plant bombs on random planets before realizing that the random floating coloured men at the top actually meant something. That's not your fault, it was mine for jamming out to the sweet tunes that were pumpin' out of this game :D <br/> <br/>This game left me with no choice but to give you a high rating. Well done!
Aug 27 11:58:00 68h 34m stacktrace Game won't run for me, despite having the latest version of java installed.
Aug 27 12:01:00 3m 00s Scare Them All You Lil Monster It was kind of confusing at first, I'm sure giving it a little polish would make it a pretty fun little game. Overall, it was quite enjoyable.
Aug 27 12:05:00 4m 00s You are the Monster! A nice little idea and a well composed game, however the constant clicking became old fairly quickly and the military didn't feel threatening at all.
Aug 27 12:08:00 3m 00s Feed the Beast Made me download a ton of files in different places on top of multiple Windows SafeScreen and Anti-virus warnings, which I didn't really feel like doing for a small LD game... and so I haven't rated to keep it fair.
Aug 27 12:31:00 23m 00s The Virus This game is very unique, lots of variation with the minigames and however confusing it may be for some the first time around it is overall a pretty fun game! Well done :D
Aug 27 12:34:00 3m 00s Mindvasion The physics were nice, however the game was incredibly confusing for me.
Aug 27 12:39:00 5m 00s Birthday Monster Reminds me a lot of dumb ways to die, and the graphics were very faithful to that kind or art style. The lack of audio wasn't very appealing but the game itself made up for that, well done!
Aug 27 12:42:00 3m 00s Monster Tag Nice little game, I don't have anyone to play with so a singleplayer mode would've been nice. *sigh* I need to make friends.
Aug 27 12:48:00 6m 00s Scare the Looters The graphics were awesome for something made in 3 days, it was a little confusing and the full screen kept becoming out of line with my monitor so the buttons at the bottom couldn't be accessed. However. the tutorial at the start was very intuitive and the game was fun and welcoming to look at.
Aug 28 11:32:00 22h 44m The Red Planet Couldn't get past the title screen :(
Aug 28 11:38:00 6m 00s Slime Quest A nice little game, I got to the king whom I assume is the boss, however I died at that point. It is nicely composed, well done!
Aug 28 11:41:00 3m 00s Crazy Alien Very nice graphics and audio, the human death animation was nice, and the physics were very well composed. Well done :)
Aug 28 11:47:00 6m 00s Yet Another Terrible Monster A nice game that is actually quite a big one and could take a while to beat, however the repeated clicking became boring fairly quickly and stopped me from playing past wave 4. However, an overall enjoyable experience! Well done! :)
Aug 28 11:48:00 1m 00s MonsCreaGame The lack of instructions made this game very confusing to play, however the gameplay experience reflected the effort that you've put into the game.
Aug 28 11:51:00 3m 00s Dunstab Couldn't run the game, tried through the exe file but nothing popped up :(
Aug 28 11:57:00 6m 00s How I Learned To Stop Voting And Love The Devil: Tales of Occult, Blood and Metal in Drop D Didn't find the game any more than confusing, I finally figure out that you're meant to drag the cursor away from the +1 vote and then sort of got the idea. I actually don't know what's going on. <br/> <br/>Neat little idea, though.
Aug 28 12:03:00 6m 00s Echo, Very nice mechanic, very creative and unique, very fun... however it didn't fit with the theme at all in my opinion. However, the graphics(for what they were) were very appealing and added to the mood- gave full 5 stars for innovation and mood, well done! :)
Aug 28 12:28:00 25m 00s INSIDIAE Confusing, the game takes a while to settle in and I didn't really want to wait that long (yes I'm impatient but I don't have a lot of time to browse the LD games and I'm aiming to rate 10 games per day) however the atmosphere and graphics caught my eye. Well done!
Aug 28 12:35:00 7m 00s Deadly Orc Nice graphics, slightly confusing on how to play however I got the hang of it. I felt the game was a little too easy and some of the NPCs were unnecessary; but a fun little game overall. Well done! :)
Aug 28 12:42:00 7m 00s Telifrenzy Funny, but not very intuitive. Nice look for a game made in 24 hours. A lot of British natives can relate to the language used in the game. Gameplay was quite fun however by the third stage I just felt like I was releasing the click randomly and hoping I would hit the jelly. Well done! :)
Aug 28 12:46:00 4m 00s Power Corrupts A nice little game, control was responsive however felt clunky at times (i.e. when attempting to jump onto blocks). A nice little game with nice graphics that add to the mood. Well done! :)
Aug 29 11:30:00 22h 44m Alice & August: A Love Story I loved the gameboy look of the game (minus the background of course) however when I was walking down a long hall I couldn't tell if I was moving or not. I didn't get to the end cuz mazes make me go insane and the music was creepy :P however, I enjoyed the mood of the game, character animations may have been a nice touch but maybe the lack of animation was intentional, I enjoyed it otherwise and would love to play a post-LD build of some sort. Well done! :)
Aug 29 11:34:00 4m 00s Constrained A nice little game that reminded me of the old star castle arcade game. I found that this game didn't require much skill until I figured out that you can move around... after I had closed the game. I'll give you an extra star overall as that was my mistake :P overall, an addictive little game! well done! :)
Aug 29 11:38:00 4m 00s DECI-Mation Problem with Shortcut: <br/>"The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'DECI-Mation.Ink' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, then try again."
Aug 29 11:59:00 21m 00s Clean House Don't understand what this had to do with the theme, but it was a nice fun game that reminded me of N64 games. The voice of the woman was very creepy. <br/> <br/>I think I found a glitch, when I was in the dining room there was an open drawer with a hammer in it. When I closed it, the draw disappeared and the hammer stayed floating in the air. Weird.
Aug 29 12:10:00 11m 00s Gamedev Nightmare I was looking forward to playing the game but the keyboard input didn't work. Well the W and S keys didn't but the R key did, the mouse movement worked perfectly. Great music and nice mood otherwise. Well done! :)
Aug 29 12:41:00 31m 00s Melda: The misunderstood Quite a nice little game, enjoyed the graphics however the lack of audio was a minus, using the mouse to aim was nice (meaning the game was 'very PC'). It became difficult fairly quickly which annoyed me cuz I was enjoying myself quite a bit. I replayed and killed one person on purpose to test if a grammar error would occur and it did; that being "killed 1 people that day". However, I don't mean to be a grammar nazi, and I very much enjoyed this game. Well done! :)
Aug 29 12:44:00 3m 00s I Spy (A Ghost!) I had no choice other than give high ratings for this game, cuz it was quite the submission! Multiplayer, awesome graphics, amazing music, excellent concept? I wasn't ready! :D
Aug 29 12:50:00 6m 00s Don't Let Them Die DUDE, THIS WAS AWESOME!!! Possible the most original entry I've seen so far. I actually loved it. However I noticed that the humans had the same running animation as megaman, which I guess is one of the reasons you opted out of graphics. Gave 5 for innovation and four for most of the other themes, well done! :)
Aug 29 12:53:00 3m 00s The Sickening Nice little game, reminded me of agar.io. The mouse controls were a bit more unique yet made the game kind of frustrating. I got to the third level where you can only eat cells of a certain size but even when I had infected all small cells I couldn't infect the big one :( overall, a nice little game. Well done!
Aug 29 12:55:00 2m 00s You are the Monst-hair Links takes me to the kongregate homepage.
Aug 31 11:17:00 46h 22m G.A.M.E It's a shame that this game wasn't as enjoyable as it looked. It's obviously well made and very innovative, but the constant coughing and phone ringing in the background was really annoying. Also, floppy's speech bubbles got in the way of the important stuff on the right, and it was confusing. <br/> <br/>I'm sorry if this came over as a negative review because it wasn't meant to be, the visuals, humour and innovative aspects were really nice and I would love to play a post-LD build. Well done! :)
Aug 31 11:23:00 6m 00s MOTHERTONGUE You know this game is good when every time you die, you say to yourself just...one...more...try... <br/> <br/>Unique idea, found it surprisingly challenging (in a fun way). Well done! :)
Aug 31 11:30:00 7m 00s MonsterHide A really nice game, however I found that there wasn't any kind of strategy to it, it was more of just spread the disease at one point and hope that it spreads to everyone. <br/> <br/>Also, I found that once you lose (when survivors are left) the time between then and restarting the game was too long for me. Yeah, I get very impatient if I can't restart the game right away, which is more my fault :P <br/> <br/>Overall, a very neat entry, well done! :)
Aug 31 11:37:00 7m 00s The sleep of reason produces monsters A neat little PC game, however when the birds came in I was super confused. They just kept spawning and when I hit them, they would turn into a four-winged red vulture of death? And then back into a bird? Then, all of a sudden, I died. <br/> <br/>Very nice physics/lighting/control/graphics and it is evident that the game is very well designed and coded, the music was awesome too. <br/> <br/>The lack of HUD was a problem, nothing to show us a score or lives and that made it more confusing. Hopefully you can take these into consideration for a great post-LD build. <br/> <br/>Well done! :)
Aug 31 19:31:00 7h 54m There's Plenty of Fish in the Sea Dude, forget how many fish there are in the sea, I think I'm in love with this game! <br/>Awesome effort, love the art style (the go-pro style effect, as I like to call it as I don't know what the real name is, is freaking awesome) and the mood and innovation is amazing. <br/> <br/>Issues: <br/>Not sure why it's being shown on a monitor, unless that's just to show off your fancy filter abilities. <br/>There needs to be save states, seriously. <br/> <br/>Well done! :)
Aug 31 19:39:00 8m 00s Road To Hell This is quite a nice little game. Control was great, however the aim of the game and the game's hazards were not always that clear. Is the aim to get to the end, or is there some sort of score? There was a distance at the end, so I assume it's for the high score. <br/> <br/>Plus, what does this have to do with the theme? <br/> <br/>There were also these hexagon-shaped things which I thought were powerups but were actually hazards. <br/> <br/>Don't get me wrong, this game has nice graphics/audio/physics etc. and I really enjoyed the experience. I try not to write a review that sounds negative. <br/> <br/>If you issued a post-LD build with a little explanation, I'm sure the game would be easier to understand at first. <br/> <br/>Overall, a pretty awesome submission that is evidently well coded and designed. Well done! :)
Sep 13 14:13:00 306h 34m Jeff's choice A fun little game, arrows and space bar seems simple enough for controls (and it's how the good old 2D PC games used to be!) but the up-arrow-to-jump got a bit confusing at times. <br/> <br/>Also, what's the motive of the game? There's no indicator for score, and you die from one touch. <br/> <br/>Overall, a nice little game with a well written web player engine and funky music. Well done! :)
Sep 13 14:14:00 1m 00s Pik & Pok Old school monitor filter is old school! :D
