Throws an error about data folder missing, even though there is a data folder.
Won't let me download unless I have a dropbox account
I can't get the Windows version to run. Try zipping the data and exe together before you upload them to dropbox maybe? The data folder may be corrupt.
Yep, couldn't run unfortunately, windows 8 if it matters.
"There should be 'AbnormalSlime_Data'
folder next to the executable"
Hey there, i tried to play it on OS/X, but i didn't have the chance to make it run. Would love to play it. I will be back in a couple of days
Couldn't play the game, says the data folder is missing yet the data folder is actually present.
I can't get the Mac version to start. It says it's not a Mac app :'(
Unfortunately I can't get this to run; I get an error message "Data folder not found" "There should be 'AbnormalSlime_Data' folder next to the executable", but I can see the folder right there :( I'm on Windows 10 by the way, other Unity games work for me.
Graphics are not the best but good game play and very fun to play :)
Thank you all for your comments, I'm uploading new hopefully working versions now :)
Could you put up a ZIP for the Mac OS X version? WinRAR isn't built for Mac
Alright, the zip file for Mac is being uploaded now... after this it should all work. Thanks again for the information on the errors.
Nice idea, I found it very difficult
"multiball confusion" is a metaphore sung by Aleks Turner for something complex. There is good reason for that - you see with this amount of balls it's honestly hard. Very hard - the entropy is high and expacting what'll happen is hard, it's almost like a freaking brownian motion! And not to mention how hard it is to pin point exactly this thing. You should've made the collision a bit more rough. Just a bit tweaking this stuff and it's a fair game :)
So close to a very fun game. I have a couple of suggestions:
-I would prefer an all-keyboard control option, maybe spacebar for reverse and restart
-The enemies look far too like the player, I realize that this is part of the point, but definitely having an enemy the same color as the player is a bad move
-I couldn't tell how you were choosing which enemies to spawn on arena mode, but I would suggest setting a 'total point' value per wave, which would dictate that the enemies on each wave can only total number of points which increments with each wave (possibly starting at around 10?), meaning that the player will never have the situation of having 4 reds spawn next to them on the first wave, but leaving the element of randomness that means they never quite know what they're going to get
Good game though, and with some tweaks I would have a hard time putting it down.
Nice idea! It a bit hard due to the fact you cannot control the pointed end directly!
Had some issues that I couldnt change the direction of the spike some of the time, but neat concept. I included it in part 12 of my Ludum Dare 33 Compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/mbmK1PaRvAU
Overwhelming start when you first get in a map, and difficult to survive for a while, but being able to restart quickly helps with that. Decent game overall.
Very good mechanic simple but it can get very deep, specially when added to the different weapons. Makes for a simple quick and fun game. Good job!
