| Apr 23 06:06:00 | Pixel MMO | Feels like playing Tron! Love the concept, would have been great to have randomly spawned AI players :) Great work! | |
| Apr 23 06:11:00 | 5m 00s | Operation Tinder Feat | I LOVE the theme you went with here. I also really like the idea of having to keep your gun primed by keeping the pressure up. It sort of feels like a resource management game as well as an action one - I like it :) <br/> <br/>Would have been nice to have diagonal movement, and some music :) <br/> <br/>It's cool how you can choose to either defeat the other kids, or just sneak past them to rescue the captives ;) |
| Apr 23 06:19:00 | 8m 00s | Asylum | Wow - if this had sound this would be amazing! I LOVE the theme you went with, and the graphics are to die for :) The opening title gave me shivers (Asylum first appears normal, then becomes more and more twisted). <br/> <br/>I feel like the opening text / intro went on a bit too long :) <br/> <br/>Overall love it though. Good job :) |
| Apr 23 06:25:00 | 6m 00s | "Vesta: Galactic Convict Colony | Nice work. I like the theme you went with. The enemy AI is a bit simplistic, but otherwise good job :) |
| Apr 23 06:28:00 | 3m 00s | Ant Run | Good job - a pretty unique style of game! My game was also about ants :) |
| Apr 23 06:39:00 | 11m 00s | World Saver! | Feels like a cross between TRON and Half Life 1 :) The idea of a spherical, small world is awesome. I LOVE the fact that due to the bizarre terrain you physically have to use audio to locate incoming enemies. <br/> <br/>Negative points: I couldn't find any mother ships :) It would also be nice to be able to tune mouse sensitivity, mine was uber sensitive, making it a bit hard to play :) <br/> <br/>Amazing work! |
| Apr 23 06:44:00 | 5m 00s | Lost Oxide | Nice job - I remember seeing the animation work in progress yesterday :) Good to see how it turned out. Love the use of vertical space (gripping to walls) in a platformer - don't see that often. Also love the use of lighting, and the player's belly as a light :) <br/> <br/>Would have been better with some creepy music (and squelches in the background - it's a blood cell :P). <br/> <br/>Awesome job. |
| Apr 23 06:54:00 | 10m 00s | Nano Ascension | WOW - AMAZING work mate! This game was fun to play, and had me hooked on the story line! At first I was like, Oh, no, not another tron-themed ripoff, but it was really really well done :) <br/> <br/>Feedback: <br/> * The mouse didn't lock on my mac - meaning I had to keep moving it back to the center of the screen (a bit annoying). <br/> * The voice acting really made the game - great work. <br/> <br/>What font did you use for the programmer text? <br/> <br/>AMAZING! |
| Apr 23 06:56:00 | 2m 00s | Ecosim | I'd call it more of a simulation than a game, but it still fits the theme, and this is ludum dare, so I guess you're allowed to interpret the theme however you like :) <br/> <br/>Nice work. |
| Apr 23 07:00:00 | 4m 00s | Burning Platform | The walls are far to short lived, but otherwise an interesting concept! |
| Apr 23 07:03:00 | 3m 00s | Professor McSteen, and his shrinking machine | Seems like a good game - I couldn't get past the second area though! :( Impressive for a hmtl5 game - did you use a framework or write it from scratch? |
| Apr 23 07:07:00 | 4m 00s | Snow Globe Kerfuffle | This game is amazing! Love how you can't move past a smashed part of the globe - and how your own bullets contribute to the smash-ing. Humor really made it! |
| Apr 23 07:11:00 | 4m 00s | Tiny World - God Mode Edition | Nice job - really like it! I can see this becoming a mobile ga- oh wait ;) |
| Apr 23 07:12:00 | 1m 00s | Interstellar Planet-Ship Adventures: The Search for... $@#% Aliens!!!!!! | Can't play because there's no mac build - but wanted to let you know that the title made me laugh out loud :) Nice work! |
| Apr 23 07:18:00 | 6m 00s | GERMS: A Ghost Story | The controls were a bit to finicky to master (too much inertia). Nice idea for the theme though. Seems a little too difficult, also :) |
| Apr 23 07:19:00 | 1m 00s | Tiny World Defense Force | Nice all-round game. The humor really makes it :) |
| Apr 23 07:21:00 | 2m 00s | Maru | Nice! Needs music and AI though! Really cool idea for a game, and I love the quote on the menu. |
| Apr 23 07:26:00 | 5m 00s | Kamikaze Planet | Nice! I like how the big red ?thing? (planet?) blocks the path of fire. Good twist on an old genere. Not sure about the theme here though. Would have beeng great to see some little civillians running around your feet getting killed :P |
| Apr 23 08:55:00 | 1h 29m | Tiny Conflict | Nice idea, but the Java applet continually bugged out on my mac (in chrome). I could play, but it was like the mouse coordinates were off by 200 pixels, and it kept on asking me if I wanted to kill the page. |
| Apr 23 09:02:00 | 7m 00s | A day in your Life | Y U WALK SO SLOWLY!!!! |
| Apr 23 09:05:00 | 3m 00s | Stomp-A-Thump | Great job! Would have been much better with music, but lots of fun nonetheless! |
| Apr 23 10:59:00 | 1h 54m | Land of Food | Good work on the game - I couldn't figure out how to get past the guard though :) Would be nice to see tab-completion, and previous commands (press up to bring up last command), like bash :) Great job. |
| Apr 23 11:05:00 | 6m 00s | Zombie Arena TinyWorld | Couldn't run it sorry - Light Weight Java Game Library isn't installed on my system - did you bundle it with your game? |
| Apr 23 11:20:00 | 15m 00s | Free Donutia | Couldn't master the controls - LWJGL seems to have some issues / glitch out when running in a browser on a mac? |
| Apr 23 11:23:00 | 3m 00s | Tiny Planet | My eyes! They are burning! Sooo many asplosions! Love the cell-shader look you went for. The music seems to really fit, also. <br/> <br/>Great job! |
| Apr 23 11:27:00 | 4m 00s | CAPSULE [web] | Wow - it's not a game, but this is still really cool. Love the idea of positive vs negative interactions - and how you have no clue what that means until you try it . Art and sounds are amazing. Great job! |
| Apr 23 11:35:00 | 8m 00s | Predicament | Absolutely brilliant. Hands down the best entry I have seen yet. AMAZING work! Would love to see a blog writeup of the process and things you learned. Love the art, sfx, fact that it is a html5 game. 5/5. |
| Apr 23 12:57:00 | 1h 22m | Angle Isle | Nice job - not often you see a platformer with a "flap to fly" jump system. I like it. Graphics and sound are awesome. I feel it lacked a bit in fun though :P It was also a little confusing having infinite flaps when travelling between islands, but only 4 when on the island. <br/> <br/>Also reminded me of Tiny wings :) <br/> <br/>Great work! |
| Apr 23 13:00:00 | 3m 00s | Flight of the Ladybug | Simple, but well done - good job. I like how the slant to the camera gives a sense of anticipation :P Not too sure about how it relates to the theme, but still - good job. |
| Apr 23 13:07:00 | 7m 00s | My Little Planetoid | NIce job - interesting concept for a game. Love the graphics - looks like some really good work. <br/> <br/>Not sure if I agree that the music fits :P Nice to see some original content though! It was a little annoying on kongregate having the planet rotate every time I tried to select Farm, Factory etc. What engine are you using? Unity? And are you using blender for 3D content? |
| Apr 23 13:17:00 | 10m 00s | Predominantly Tiny World | This is a really great game - good job! <br/> <br/> * I kept on randomly dying 10 seconds into the game? <br/> * It was kind of hard to tell where the UFO's are (a radar or minimap would be cool) <br/> * Took me ages to realise the big UFO in orbit can't be hit <br/> * What was the floating log in the sky? :P <br/> * Controls were hard to master <br/> <br/>That said, I think this is an AWESOME concept for a game - and one that should be expanded upon. I love several things; <br/> <br/> * The fact that between the planet getting smaller, you gathering momentum, and jumping just as a UFO explodes, it is possible to get into orbit! This lead to some really really cool arial space battles where you have to lead your shots a long way to try and hit the UFO's. Add jetpacks or air control and this would be amazing in multiplayer! <br/> * I love that it's possible to shoot a bullet that 'bends' around the planet and hits a UFO on the other side! <br/> <br/>If you are interested in expanding this / reworking it into a more complete game - contact me! I'd be interested in participating! My email is my username, but at gmail :) <br/> <br/>5 stars! |
| Apr 23 13:23:00 | 6m 00s | Tiny Stomp | Nice job! Awesome and simple idea for a game - I love the "Keep your balance" element too! Some music and back-story would go a long way, but otherwise very polished! |
| Apr 23 13:31:00 | 8m 00s | Pocket Strife | Wow - this game is cool! Pro's: <br/> * Amazing graphics <br/> * Really polished finished product (the menus are great!) <br/> * Cool 'mood' / feel to it <br/> <br/>Con's: <br/> * I didn't realise you need to place a territory flag to start - a little confusing <br/> * The controls are a bit confusing - perhaps list them on this page? <br/> <br/>Congrats - you've convinced me to have a look at Love2D :) This game is sweet! 4/5! |
| Apr 23 13:35:00 | 4m 00s | Unterholz | I can't play as I'm on OS/X but the game looks really cool! |
| Apr 23 13:41:00 | 6m 00s | To What a Mountain? | It was really fun! I disliked the... shocking final scenes though ;) Very funny, and a nice difficulty curve (I finished with no health left). Some music would have really made it ;) <br/> <br/>COME HERE LITTLE VILLAGERS... BWA HA HA. |
| Apr 23 13:46:00 | 5m 00s | Tiny World! | These graphics are incredible (in the first room, at least!) Love it! Sounds match perfectly. Gameplay was a little shaky (I also got stuck outside the first room) - but more time and you would have fixed all that. What game engine did you use? <br/> <br/>Amazing work! |
| Apr 23 13:49:00 | 3m 00s | Shipwrecked | Not bad - interesting approach to the theme. I agree with robbiehunt that it is a little hard to tell how to progress through the game. |
| Apr 23 13:52:00 | 3m 00s | These are your Friends | Nice idea with the inverse kinematics - the game idea is good, but I feel the implementation lacked a bit - it was kind of difficult! Also, +1 for 3D sound! I got a shock when the sound from the tug boat appeared behind me! 4/5! |
| Apr 23 13:56:00 | 4m 00s | Flea Circus | Great idea for a game! Theme fits, music is perfect, sound effects are ncie and graphics are sweet :) No complaints here! I love that you can button mash, too. My final score? 566,580 :P 4/5! |
| Apr 23 14:16:00 | 20m 00s | Face The Truth | Java finished loading, then the screen just stayed blank (white)? Using Chrome on Mac Lion :( Sad - I was looking forward to trying this! <br/> <br/>---- <br/> <br/>Update: Retried and it worked - perhaps add a preloader? WOW - this game is awesome. Hands down my favourite! Dropping a 5/5 here! Possible improvements: <br/> * Being able to chose what orbit the satellite goes into (higher orbits -> slower speed -> less expensive) <br/> * Music <br/> <br/>I love how the costs are actually realistic - kind of gives a grim reality check on the space industry :P The dialog as the humans get defeated is hilarious! <br/> <br/>AMAZING WORK! |
| Apr 23 14:27:00 | 11m 00s | Kid's Wars | This is a pretty neat game! Great work! Kept me coming back for a few rounds! You really nailed the fun factor :P |
| Apr 24 15:27:00 | 25h 00m | Exposed | Really slick work! The soundtrack is divine! Who came up with it!? Graphics are lovely too! |
| Apr 24 17:22:00 | 1h 55m | Tiny Man | Not too shabby! I like the theme you went with - the big / small idea is cool, though could use a bit more work - I think it would be better if there is a wall above your head, you don't go big at all. The controls were a bit hard to master, but fun nonetheless. Well done! |
| Apr 24 17:26:00 | 4m 00s | TINY LIZARD SWELL WORLD | Not quite sure what to make of this - perhaps post some more instructions on this page? I tried mashing the keyboard but nothing seemed to happen. The day night cycle is cool :) |
| Apr 24 17:38:00 | 12m 00s | Godzilla Rampage | Oh this game is so very freaking cool! I am in love with the art style you used here! There is something disturbingly satisfying about crushing the tiny, square people under my feet! I also love the "Aaaaah! it's God-ziwwa" sound effects! <br/> <br/>Feedback: <br/> - As others have said, hit detection is a bit odd, could perhaps be a bit more lenient. <br/> - Other attacks would be great (perhaps a 360 degree tail whip to catch all civillians in a circle around you), or maybe a super stomp that crushes buildings around you? <br/> - Powerups would be cool (health...) <br/> <br/>It reminds me of several games: Atom Zombie Smasher and Death Worm are two that come to mind. <br/> <br/>Amazing work! 4/5! Mind if I steal this idea and turn it into an Android app? ;P |
| Apr 24 17:43:00 | 5m 00s | Poiesis | On my mac the mouse cursor doesn't show up (meaning I can't get past the third part of the tutorial!) Please fix this - I really really really want to try this game! From what I've seen it looks amazing! I'm a fan of the quirky controls, btw :P |
| Apr 24 17:50:00 | 7m 00s | Mesene's tiny world | This game is hard! 45 seconds!!! I think I'd need at least 2 minutes! The controls take a bit of getting used to. Nice idea. |
| Apr 24 17:57:00 | 7m 00s | Tiny Domination | I quite liked this game - the tutorial didn't show for me so I found everything a bit overwhelming at the start. A nice idea thought - like Galcon, but with tower defense as well! I like it! I also really, really like the clouds puffing around each planet. Not too keen on the other graphics, but the clouds are divine! Good job! |
| Apr 24 18:03:00 | 6m 00s | Zephyr | A lovely, highly polished and relaxing game that I feel I am somehow unworthy of - first I tried to kill the flowers with my fan, then I tried to attack the bees, then I started pondering the sexual implications of what I was doing, helping pollenate plants :P <br/> <br/>Jokes aside, this game stands out from the others - in particular I love that you can rescue sprites by catching them just before they go off the screen, kind of like a second chance. <br/> <br/>Some 'Limbo'-esque subtle animations to the background would be nice, but otherwise, an amazing job! <br/> <br/>Very well done! 4/5! |
| Apr 25 08:40:00 | 14h 37m | Stage 2 Chaos | Damn - I wanted to play this game - the lighting looks really nice. I'm on a mac though :: @gregdevice - I think it's the same tileset, that's why. |
| Apr 25 08:42:00 | 2m 00s | esCape | :( I really want to try this but am on a Mac - sad! |
| Apr 25 08:48:00 | 6m 00s | SUBPIXEL | Not bad! I like the theme you went with here, and I love the fact that going outside the bounds leads to undefined behaviour - reminds me of the bugs in early versions of minecraft if you went near the edges of the world - sort of like a bug and a feature at the same time. I couldn't really figure out the scoring system. Good job! |
| Apr 25 12:15:00 | 3h 27m | Where It Begins | Gameplay is a bit odd, the controls are bizarre - but for 6 hrs, very nice! Love the graphical style and music! |
| Apr 25 12:21:00 | 6m 00s | Drill It!: Demolition Co. | This game is hard! I feel positively evil hurting those poor planets :P Music is pretty slick, too. Good work! |
| Apr 25 12:30:00 | 9m 00s | shiprage | Hey! This is really cool! Neat idea. Would love to see a blog post about the AI / things you learned when making this! Great job. |
