| Isolated | Interesting! It's a nice twist on Sims socializing that you need to watch others for patterns, instead of there being one action you can do over and over to flatter everyone. The fade out effect was quite effective. I think this is first pixel game I've seen made in Unity. | ||
| Pleochorism | This game is super good! It makes my brain feel good.

It's a good example of a super simple concept embraced and focused on to the end, which I think characterizes all good LD games. Have you played Deadly Rooms of Death? Those games have a very similar mechanic.

I didn't fall in love with your visuals and music, but they're solid and consistent; the game feels complete.

Kudos on doing such great work for a first-time LD entry. :) | ||
| Paradise Fort | Solid tech with a world that's fun to interact with, but even after figuring out how to build stuff, I find getting started a pain. It's too hard and tedious to move around; and I found it impossible to remember which button does what. | ||
| Beebop The Island Hopper | An interesting entry! I actually found it pretty fun to track the patterns. I found myself singing little songs in my head to track the beat of each thing. It would be interesting to try syncing the rhythms to music; you could probably get away with much shorter and rarer green windows that way. | ||
| Isles of Color | This game's really good! Brings back fond memories of Lolo. :) Good graphics; nice use of sound and color to subtly distinguish zones; amazing amount of content for 48 hours. I wish there were keys for pulling up the map/restarting a level (were there?) because I hate using the mouse in a keyboard game. | ||
| Is Lands? | Nice music, solid enough gameplay, although I didn't really find it interesting. | ||
| Island Rescue | Really interesting tetris variant! I find it really hard to wrap my head around it - I think partly because what the villager does isn't always intuitive, but also because the game's so unique. I'm going to spend more time playing this. Good work. :) | ||
| The Forgotten Isles | I liked this! The FOV pop in is really nice. The story and tone I didn't find particularly compelling or interesting, but I guess it matched the gameplay. I didn't initially notice that my Memories meter was falling and that it refilled when I visited an interest point; some colors or sounds at these interest points would have helped. | ||
| islands | That was pleasant. I love the art. Where did it come from? | ||
| Voyage for the Queen | Overall an interesting attempt, though it's hard to make a game like this work. My biggest problem was I didn't know if different people offer different prices for things; am I supposed to keep my own spreadsheet and map tracking prices? On the other hand, if the game told me outright which prices are high and low, that would kill any challenge. In any case I ended up sort of bored and listless, not knowing whether I was playing it right or not. | ||
| Mad Hatter Island | An impressive amount of content for a 2-hour project. Not a very enjoyable experience for those of us who aren't platform lovers. I liked the main sprite. | ||
| Simon Haigh's Pirates! | I enjoyed this a lot - the basic mechanic is really fun and unique, like a statistical version of Katamari Damacy. :) Although the art and music are really good, please make your own stuff next time. :( | ||
| Awesome LifeBoat Game | Not bad, a pretty solid implementation of the concept. I found the visuals pretty painful though, and it was really annoying when my boat got caught on an island. | ||
| Giant Floating Island Adventure | Nice graphics... I guess I'm dumb though, I couldn't figure out how to feed the elevators. | ||
| Simcano | I couldn't figure out how to make money either, but visually the whole thing is quite charming! | ||
| Napol©on et la punition myst©rieuse ®le du diable | Kind of boring, though also somewhat zen at times. I liked the leap of faith in level 2. | ||
| 10 Things to do when stranded on a Island | The link appears to be broken, so I couldn't download. Kudos on the 9-word title though. The longer the title, the better. :) | ||
| Islands in the Sky | Cute; not terribly interesting though! | ||
| Ancient Island | Solid little puzzle. Found it a bit annoying that I couldn't type in what I wanted to do, instead had to choose from a limited list of options. This also made the puzzle solutions more brainless; on the other hand, didn't have to deal with the annoyance of unrecognized commands. :) | ||
| Stranded! | I didn't finish the game (does it end?) because I found it painfully slow paced. I think the problem is that your hunger rises so slowly; thus the only way to lose is to suffer a really long period in which absolutely nothing happens. Visually pretty charming, though. :) | ||
| Rising Sea Levels | Nice tech; nice honk sound :) | ||
| Ganjisland | Pretty solid and the music is good; I had trouble understanding what was going on though. |
