The windows version crashes even before entering the game,(it shows the first screen, but then crashes (maybe no input handling?). The last line of the console output is:
physics module: load failed -> unknown unit type
I'll try it on Linux, but I advise to fix the bug ASAP on Windows since most people use it.
Atm the download link is no longer working, im gutted I really wanted to check this one out. The screenys look really cool.
Same problem with crashing on just after the title screen. I'm running Windows 7.
I can't even get the game loaded up; same problem as psnake. Don't have a linux box sitting around, so I'll have to wait for the Windows version to be fixed before judging.
I got it running with the source. The game speed is pretty low and the robot is quite slippery. He doesn't always respond to jump presses when he's near an edge. I knocked over the pillars on the second level and couldn't proceed and didn't know how to reset the level... The graphics aren't bad. The k-niggit animation is good and reminds me of Wizards & Warriors.
Hangs after the title with some error "Unknown unit type".
The link appears to be broken, so I couldn't download. Kudos on the 9-word title though. The longer the title, the better. :)
Not running here either, on Windows 7 x64. Getting the same "physics module: load failed -> unknown unit type" error. Come on I want to try it!
No luck here (on win7 64bit), same prob as the others... I'll give it a go in Linux next chance I get though...
Yup. Getting a crash. Won't even load past the title screen.
