LD27 — 10 Seconds

Multiple Personality Quest by Serilyn 2013-08-29T05:19:00

Interesting game (circling the characters would make diablo more interesting in my opinion) but to me it was easy so I did not need the skills (so the characters were basically ranged or melee). Also, I wanted to move with the keyboard (or move faster) and the info panel on the right was cutting into the game view (so the character did not feel centered etc...).

Amazing art direction and fun gameplay!

Bug Buster by ConflictiveLabs 2013-09-07T20:57:00

I liked the game except for two items: some bullets were hard to see with the chosen colors. And I could just play the whole level in slow motion.

Thanks! The cursor luck problem in the web browse was embarrassing. It is now fixed assuming it is OK with the rules...

Thanks for the comments!

@LordHellMaX In the blog post about the game, I wrote about only killing the boss (robot in Tuxedo) but forgot to add it here.

Here is the blog post: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2013/08/26/10-seconds-of-relativity/

@Cthulhu We also wish there were more levels but as the real life pressed we could only do the minimum: super slow, normal, super fast. Initially we were aiming for 10 leves with a smooth change including couple of levels where the time was dynamic.

Great entry! Having less drag on the controller would make it more playable.

Samsara - Humanities Rebirt by DangerPenguin 2013-09-05T21:29:00

Nice music. Would like to see the game with more enemies/weapons etc...

Escape From Homeshank by ColdBrain 2013-09-11T15:48:00

Nice audio and visuals!

A Living Shell by kraj0t 2013-09-05T21:26:00

Reminded me of Alan Wake.. I would appreciate fade in/outs in the voice-over. Also was not if the background noise was intentional or not. Nice mood overall!

Nice spatial sound!

I could not get to kill any enemy no matter how strategic I attacked. As somebody who worked with genetic algorithms it is always interesting to see them in games.

Polished!

I got an error (web version) saying that 'mainMenu/mainMenuButtons/menuButton.png' does not exist...

Similar to ComicSans, I also get the need Unity web player error. I am on Firefox in Win 7. And, I do have the web player.

A Maze Thing by TeamAMazeThing 2013-08-30T19:43:00

I also had fps problems looking at ~90 degrees left from the starting rotation.

The map creation is interesting and the radar reminded me of the old AvP games, where the aliens could jump on you in between the updates.

Some notes: It took some time for me to recognize the doors (maybe something more distinct or slightly larger activation zones). And the HUD on top right did not fit with the rest of the visuals.

Good job.

Vampire The Buffet Slayer! by danhett 2013-09-07T20:34:00

I also had some random lag sometimes. Did you do the sounds?

Project: "Explosion" by Simple Ghost 2013-08-29T20:31:00

Awesome idea and execution dude! My only concern was the controls and the drag they have after releasing a specific movement key.
