Execution fell flat. The super sped up level was ridiculously difficult due to the controls, and the super slow one was rather dull.
Also, the mouse wasn't locked to the window which was a problem.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD27 → 10 Seconds of Relativity

Thanks! The cursor luck problem in the web browse was embarrassing. It is now fixed assuming it is OK with the rules...
Nice fps shooter. Had a good time playing it thru the first levels
I realized quite late that you only have to kill the guy at the end of the level in the 3rd level. As it has already been said, that fast level was a bit hardcore, but when I catched that you don't need to kill every enemy the game ended. Nice idea though, it could have evolved into something really cool. It has an interesting graphics style. Good job.
I really loved this game and I think the idea was perfect for the theme. I really enjoyed playing it and the little sentences between the levels.
I wish there were more levels / levels with variable time (this is what I expected when I saw 'time is relative').
Very good job here! 4/5.
ps: don't listen to the first comment of '7heSAMA' this guy doesn't even have an entry and is so unfair...
Thanks for the comments!
@LordHellMaX In the blog post about the game, I wrote about only killing the boss (robot in Tuxedo) but forgot to add it here.
Here is the blog post: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2013/08/26/10-seconds-of-relativity/
@Cthulhu We also wish there were more levels but as the real life pressed we could only do the minimum: super slow, normal, super fast. Initially we were aiming for 10 leves with a smooth change including couple of levels where the time was dynamic.
The idea here is interesting, but I agree it was a bit tough. You could certainly tweak it a bit and work in some more levels and make it a fun game :)
Actually, the most interesting 10s concept I have seen till now. Pitty I couldn't work it out in the 3rd really fast level.
Sensitivity is up pretty high on the high speed level, its pretty tough. Interesting concept though.
Cool idea! Though changing sensitivity based on timescale is something I wouldn't recommend. Also no options menu or support for inverted players is another small thing but at least it's complete! :P
Very slow at first. Haha :)
I enjoyed the idea and liked your execution. Good job!
Fun idea, got a bit intense though
Good idea, a little unbalanced gameplay - first two levels were very easy and the last one was quite hard and my success was just random. Would be better with more and more polished levels. Feels a little similar to Portal :)
I can't get past the 3rd level. I die as soon as I go out. The sensitivity needs to be adjusted a bit.
But interesting art style! :)
I guess this concept needs a bit more polish and thinking to do.
Interesting, the third level was pretty hard but not impossible. I got caught off guard when the time was sped up so fast.
I liked the robot model and the cartoon shader too. Nice job!
Time is indeed relative
Found this game really cool. I featured it in my LD27 compilation video series, if you'd like to check it out :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzQ8TXQohmI
Difficult game! Addictive though!
