I suck at this game, but I love it. :) Really nice idea.

Hey, thanks! :) Yes, the recording is normalized prior to generating the level, which means the highest peak will be the highest edge, and anything that's low level will look flat in comparison...

That was probably a poor design decision, I realize only now it didn't have to be so (but then I would have had to allow for vertical scrolling).

Wormholes by themushroomsound 2013-08-27T01:30:00

@fdevant: yes, the 'crash at the start' issue happens way too frequently, I'll have to fix that. In the meantime you have to make sure the recording is nice and quiet at the start (ah, the hazards of folding time and space).

@lulzfish_4: yes, the levels are too long. I'm actually thinking of changing the way you clear them: it'd be nice if the ship entered hyperspeed after 10s at max velocity, which would bring you straight to the next (more difficult) wormhole.

Good to know the game runs fine on a mac!

Ok, then the next version will have to show a preview of the waveform, so that you can choose to play or record a new one. :)

Nice suggestion, thanks kazukishida !

Darn Clock by sirdorius 2013-08-27T01:41:00

This is great! :D
Love the graphics, the blood, the explosions, and the general mayhem resulting from catching my bus.

I'm really, really disappointed not to hear any sound though, and that font doesn't quite do justice to the rest of the game. I'm still gonna play it some more. :)

Campfire by BloodJohn 2013-08-27T03:55:00

Could not manage to make my way to the cave, but I'll try harder. Is there no sound or is there a problem on my side ?

Et je vous laisse by Emilien Gorisse 2013-08-27T23:04:00

Very nice. Maybe I missed something, but I wish I knew more about the unresolved issues they have to discuss :)

Sleepnaut by Cotton 2013-08-27T23:38:00

Ha ha, that was a strange and lovely little experience. :)

I like the art style a lot, including the totally unreadable font. It really fits the hardcore, minimalist gameplay. :)

Mr Moore's Last Seconds by Tainted_Code 2013-08-27T23:29:00

I had this weird glitch playing the web version (haven't tried the others), where most of the levels weren't centered in the frame - also, I got big black squares on top of everything during level changes.

I really enjoyed it apart from that! :) Loved climbing the doves.

The idea of a game in slo-mo is great, makes it that much dramatic! :)

Serenity by rxi 2014-12-10T21:33:00

It's beautiful! Loved the details (filtered sound when underwater, gorgeous lighting...). It's probably a good thing I was invulnerable though. ^^

Reward Circuit by themushroomsound 2014-12-08T12:09:00

@Wayward: thanks! :)
@Mopz: may I ask what browser/OS you tried the game on? That might help me figure out what's going on... Also, the cursor issue could be avoided by going fullscreen (the right-click menu in unity's webplayer should be available)
@ilikescifi: and a Merry Christmas to you too!

Train of Thought by anissen 2014-12-10T21:47:00

Hard but nice :)
I think I made it glitch by typing a long, nonsense word going further than the width of the screen.

Mutable by Winterblood 2014-12-11T13:33:00

I found the music a bit stressful and yes, the shadows are a bit confusing, but the idea is nice and well executed :)
