Very addicting!
A tower defence game with simple mechanics, but overall a fun gameplay. I found all the buttons a bit confusing and overwhelming in the beginning but learned quickly what they did.
I ended up using mainly goldfishes with their high base attack speed and penetrating projectiles while only increasing their damage, as the other stats have very negligible returns in terms of gold spent.
Good job!
Cool animations and idea. Controls could be a bit easier to make it more fun tho.
Lovely artstyle! Satisfying gameplay and sound design too!
Lovely mood aesthetic! It gives me a somewhat mysterious but lonely feeling. The "fruit" is an interesting concept to what could be a great story.
Good job!
Awesome! Well done!
Haha, liver go shplfrgrtrt.
Interesting concept, but the execution falls short.
The main issue being UX and UI. Nothing was obvious to me about this game. I did not read the controls from your description at first just to see how it plays while being dropped in blind. The first thing I did was tried to interact with the holes in the walls, but pressing buttons next to it did nothing. Then I swam into the sea. And this is where I would have stopped playing normally.
After reading the controls and finding out that there is an opponent and that you can zoom out...The game was still confusing as it is not clear what the buttons in the build menu mean or do.
A guiding hand in the form of a tutorial would definitely have made this a more fun experience.
Cool game!
I had some performance issues at the bottom of the map, but I do not know what caused that. The spear attack is definitely a unique idea and gives players a chance to inlict more damage depending on how well they handle the weapon's limited duration and movement.
What I feel it lacked was perhaps a cost for using your abilities. It would have introduced some more difficulty.
Overall - well done.
