LD30 — Connected Worlds

Treasure Transferral by frogalicious 2014-09-05T19:52:00

Good concept, but very buggy. I couldn't pick up the chest on the second level.

Treasure Transferral by frogalicious 2014-09-05T19:53:00

The collision detection seems off, I kept going through solid blocks. Nice terrain destruction mechanic though.

Hell On Earth by CryoGenesis 2014-08-25T16:43:00

Works fine on Lubuntu 14.04 for me!

Connected Worlds by YopSolo 2014-08-28T20:30:00

Interesting, but a bit too simple. Some kind of indication of where to go next would be good.

The error above occured with Lubuntu 14.04

Redspace by filtoid 2014-09-05T20:15:00

I fixed the error by adding another space in front of line 92.

Redspace by filtoid 2014-09-05T20:16:00

It looks OK, but obviously not a playable game. I think it would be better if you added rotational momentum, and faster forwards acceleration

Dreaming of Revenge by oxysoft 2014-09-05T19:59:00

Is the server down at the moment?

Star Trucker by Dissiden7 2014-08-30T11:05:00

Not bad, but it was a bit boring waiting for the transporting. Maybe a fast-forward button would help?

Darkness by kevinAlbs 2014-08-26T17:12:00

Nice graphics, and an original take on the theme. I think this would be improved if the boss fight was more tactical - Maybe the boss's weapons could deal more damage, but be further appart (IMHO they are too close together to avoid at the moment). Maybe it would have been too much for only 48 hours, but it would be cool if the other players had more realistic AI, or were actual recordings of other players movements.

Planets by marccspro 2014-08-25T10:04:00

Good job for only 6 hours! I think this would be improved with a health bar or somethng.

SWARM by Kate Kligman 2014-09-05T19:28:00

Not bad, but the graphics need a bit of work.

SWARM by Kate Kligman 2014-09-05T19:29:00

For some reason the yello lines dissapeared for me about half way through the game.

Impossible Worlds by lukz 2014-08-25T10:11:00

This was really fun to play. Great job!

Abstrakt by ViliX64 2014-09-01T19:26:00

The audio didn't work for me on Linux, the gameplay was a bit boring, and I found the graphics a bit painful to look at, but overall I thought that the theme and the message were excellent!

Course Collision by rRootagea 2014-09-05T19:45:00

Good audio and graphics, but it seemed unclear whether I had won or lost. The AI was pretty good too.

I Think I Broke Something by Otrora Games 2014-09-05T20:04:00

Great audio and graphics, but I thought that it was too difficult, and I didn't really like the time limit in each world.

TrainSim 4000 by smbe19 2014-08-25T14:22:00

A good game, but the first few levels are too easy/boring. Maybe a "fast forward" button would be a good addition?

Constellation by Aglavra 2014-08-25T14:04:00

I think I found a typo in the X-Gun description "It kills people and does no harm to people."

DimLey by Simaflux 2014-08-30T11:11:00

Not bad, but the movement is a bit too slow. Also, there were some typos.

Connected on the run... by alexco12 2014-08-25T18:58:00

I wasn't really sure what to do, but I really liked the lighting in the "Hub" area. Certain elements of this also reminded me of minecraft.

WhaleCommander by wolfengange 2014-09-01T20:05:00

Very immature.

Planet Protector by jthistle 2014-08-27T18:53:00

I got it to run on linux by renaming smallFlat.png to smallflat.png, but I couldn't get the keyboard input to work.

Connect the Bridges by GameDevExtreme 2014-08-25T20:15:00

This is a cool idea, but I think that the graphics could have been better. Also, the game seems to be more based on luck than strategy.

Gargoyle Abyss by imaginarymonsters 2014-09-05T19:57:00

Great graphics, but the controls seemed a bit awkward for me. If movement was WASD, it would be much more playable IMHO.

Torn Between Worlds by CaptainCabbage 2014-09-01T19:39:00

I tried to run on Lubuntu 14.04 and got this error: ./TornBetweenWorlds: error while loading shared libraries: libGLEW.so.1.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Torn Between Worlds by CaptainCabbage 2014-09-01T19:45:00

After installing libportaudio2 and libglew1.10 , I got this error on Lubuntu 14.04 (32-bit):
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Trapped in a Computer by elkiwydev 2014-08-25T20:24:00

Very good! I found this really fun to play, and it looks great too!

Super Alien Bro by nerd burglars 2014-09-01T19:36:00

Good audio and graphics. Quite buggy, a bit too difficult and fits the theme very loosely.

NEXUS by brokenbeach 2014-08-25T16:48:00

Let's be friends! (But some will die) by RFMTeam 2014-09-01T19:11:00

Very good, but I found it a bit boring, and too difficult.
