Nice idle game! The planets look beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I really appreciated the time acceleration feature - it's a must-have for idle games and you implemented it well!
I progressed through the skill tree pretty quickly and unlocked the first 3 planets without much trouble. However, the transition to planet Eramia takes way too long - I couldn't wait for it to complete. Maybe the balance needs some tweaking for the later stages to keep players engaged.
That said, the theme implementation is absolutely spot-on - 100% fits "Signal"! Great work overall!
I really enjoyed this game! The visual style is awesome, and the music and sound effects are excellent - they really pull you into the atmosphere.
I'm not sure if this was the intended strategy, but I just attracted all the spiders to myself and walked them around in circles! The repulsion mechanic felt a bit weak - I think it would be cooler if you could actually destroy spiders with it, that would add more gameplay depth.
Also, I couldn't quite figure out how the plate works - maybe I missed something?
Having a leaderboard is a great touch! I managed to score 285 points!
Overall, solid entry with great presentation. Nice work!
Really cool and unique puzzle concept! The audio and visual style are excellent - they complement the gameplay perfectly.
I found it quite challenging, and I'll admit I got stuck around level 5. But that's not necessarily a bad thing - some players love that level of difficulty! The puzzle design is genuinely clever and makes you think.
I honestly think there's a real market for this type of game. You should definitely consider developing this further for mobile or web platforms - I could easily see this doing well with puzzle game enthusiasts!
Good luck with future development!
The game's idea is quite unusual. The graphics are stylish. As for the finger tearing off — I didn't get that at all, and that fact shocked me.
A pleasant little game. The only thing that annoyed me was that Enter is not submit but a line break. Also, I missed at least a hint of what this word is. Good luck!
The game starts quite abruptly, which caught me a bit off guard. However, the controls feel really smooth and responsive, which I enjoyed! The graphic style is pleasant and well-done too.
I think the game would benefit from adding sound effects and some visual feedback when hitting enemies - it would make the combat feel more impactful and satisfying.
I didn't quite understand the main goal of the game, and it's a shame it wasn't fully finished. But hey, that's game jams for you! You've got a solid foundation here with the controls and visuals.
Good luck with future development! 🎮
Really cool idea! It gives me Balatro vibes, which is definitely a good thing. The graphics, visual effects, music, and audio are all top-notch - you really nailed the presentation!
I was particularly pleased to see the speed-up feature - that's such a thoughtful addition and really improves the experience. I'm definitely taking notes on that for my own projects!
I think this game has genuine potential beyond the jam. Looking forward to seeing where you take it. Good luck with future development!
The graphics are cool. A funny little game, but the gameplay is repetitive, so I didn't finish it, sorry)
Very cool idea. The graphics and controls are pleasant. The music and sound effects are excellent. I think this game has potential — you should definitely develop it further!
@helagos Thank you for your interest in my project. Glad you liked the visual design!
@zazzar Thank you for your interest in my project. I'm very glad that the visual style and effects caught your attention. The responsiveness and feel of the game are exactly what I was aiming for!
@ilya-kr Thank you so much for your feedback! Really appreciate you taking the time to play and comment! 🙏
@termight Thank you so much for the high rating on the visual style! This means a lot to me since I put the main focus on it during development. Really glad it paid off and you noticed it! 😊
@forsakenaginor Thank you! So happy you enjoyed the visual style! I'll definitely work on improving and polishing the game further in the future. Your feedback is much appreciated! ✨
@myokka Haha! Thank you! 😄
Thank you all for your feedback and support! 🙏 Special thanks to:
@silentwander — thank you for your kind words about the visual style, that's exactly what I focused on the most. Really glad you appreciated it.
@boroboro — glad the game felt satisfying even with its short length. Style and feel were my top priorities.
@oxnh — yes, unfortunately ran out of time.
@cornex — thank you! The visual style and animations are what I really aimed for.
@AO-85 and @fkjaha — great ideas about the city, towers. That sounds like a logical and cool next step for the mechanics — thanks for the inspiration!
@smilewood — you're absolutely right, there are always a couple more mechanics that didn't make it 😄 But I'm glad the vision still comes through.
@BoltDaPikachu234, @starr — thanks for stopping by and appreciating even the simple version.
Once again, huge thanks to everyone for the feedback — it really helps me understand where to go next!
@venomousmouse Thank you so much for your kind words and support! I'll keep working on my endurance and planning.
The mechanics are cool, and the zombies flew apart nicely. The character art is also great. There was no progress indicator to know when a wave would end, because the first time I thought the game was just endless.
At first glance, it seems like a simple maze puzzle, but the fact that you can't see the full map and enemies are hidden creates this really interesting tension - almost like a horror game! That's a clever design choice that elevates the whole experience.
I really enjoyed it! The concept is solid and polished enough that I think you could easily release this on web platforms or even mobile.
Great job on this one!
