LD38 — A Small World

HexCity by MartensCedric 2017-05-02T22:11:41Z

Good job, I really liked the idea with adjacency requirements and of course the hexagonal map :) A relaxing soundtrack could improve the mood ;) Its a little bit plain right now, maybe some objectives would make the game more Interesting. I would also like some synergy effects between compatible adjacent tiles :)

You Are World. by amras0000 2017-05-02T21:40:49Z

I pretty liked this game, especially the hexagonal tilebased setting and the relaxing ambient sound. A good game to come down after a hard day :) Good job.

Zen Demiurgy by mortus 2017-05-11T10:03:57Z

Good job! I really liked this one, especially the artstyle and the carcasonne-like gameplay, but it seems to get a bit monotone after a while. I think it would be nice to have a second slot for another puzzle piece so you would have more opportunities. Or maybe a crate that gives you a needed tile or lets you remove an unwanted tile. Another thing I would like to see is a reward (f.e. in points) for filling the plane so the motivation is higher to not just build to the boxes (a limited view range could help here as well). All in all I just can say: Nice Work!

Edit: It would also be nice to have a button which shows the current reachable places. Currently I'm sometimes not sure if a box is connected or not. Thanks again for building this game, I'm really having fun here^^

Space Dominator by hadesfury 2017-12-05T16:39:39Z

Really cool space game with a hidden message :) Have you thought about letting the ships cost a bit of resources to build? that would maybe prevent people from sending all people to a barren rock to reduce the cost...

Space Dominator by hadesfury 2017-12-06T10:37:51Z

@YuuK thats understandable :) I'm looking forward to it and in the mean time I will go and harvest those Resources :D

Tillage Fever by pigdev 2017-12-06T10:34:41Z

Good work, I really enjoyed the game. :) I ran into a litte problem with the sound in the webversion: when I load a page in another tab the sound gets stuck with is a bit unpleasant...

Fortress Escape by SpaceMonkey 2017-12-05T03:25:38Z

I played the WebGL version and it was pretty nice. Interesting concept to combine tower defence and shooter :) Sadly there weren't more levels :(

Fan Favourite by erd0s 2017-12-07T21:04:44Z

Really good audio :D I think this game really hits the theme :) Sadly the expert mode didn't load for me but he easy mode was funny as well :)

Warehouse Worker by Rixium 2017-12-05T16:11:21Z

Nice game idea but sadly the the screen shake was really exausting. It was not that intuitive to find out what to do, but once the game ran it was fun (except for the shaking)

As The Crow Flies by BarDunBar 2017-12-06T23:10:19Z

Really great Game, super relaxing and nice atmosphere. The controls and the game logic were pretty intuitive and the art style polished it :) I would like the game even more if there were more things to grade up. But one question remains, if the game field has infinite* size, where is the "the worse it gets"? :D

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Puzz Snake by Igor KinGamer 2018-05-10T14:01:13Z

Thanks, that was really fun :) Cool idea to combine Gravity and Snake and rhythmic movement (with a nice soundtrack). Nice levels, I hope there is more on the way ;)

Pair's Lair by beta 2018-05-10T12:41:37Z

Really cool combination of genres, makes much fun to play :) (maybe except the sword swinging noise...) I didn't really get the mechanics how things accelerate, sometimes characters (player and monsters) simply rushed forwards out of the nothing... It would be cool if the body and the sword arm would turn into the moving direction as well :)

Iocus Navis by Ranzor 2018-05-10T12:20:00Z

Cool game guys :) I really like your art-style and the mix of cards and spacetravelling, good choice :) My thoughts / experiences: - In one playthrough I had a the problem that I there was no turning for a pretty long time, in another one I found myself in a situation with only forward movement cards and a n asteroid a few tiles in front of me, maybe it could help to distribute different probabilities depending on what cards were already drawn. (But after all space is a rough place to be...:) - It seems like the game crashes (halts) if you fly into a new screen and on the entry position is already something (in my case an asteroid) - It would be nice to have more different cards (e.g. a shield or a card which gives you a speed boost or sth similar) - It would also be nice if you could use more than 3 cards at once if you want :)
