Dumpy's Endless Quest for Crap by Budaniel 2019-10-08T15:27:36Z
I really wanted to get that crap, but the character movement was really slow...

I really wanted to get that crap, but the character movement was really slow...
The way the level filled in as you went along was a good indicator of which way you've already traveled. I just wish the character didn't die so fast... Another thing that made the game a bit difficult was the bullet effect. It was a little too big and distracting. Overall, with a few changes I think you've got yourself a fun game with a neat aesthetic.
I loved the music and atmosphere of this game! i think you created something really interesting here. The only qualm was that it was difficult to understand what to do next... Either way, keep it up!
The story was really well done for only a few days of work! It would be nice to see another story like this from you guys!!! Also, the voice acting sounded great! The visuals were simplistic, but really set a tone for this game!
@citsua I'm really happy to hear you say that! We wanted to make a game that was story based, but also wanted a game that was fun to play overall, so that's what Falling ended up being! Thanks for the comment!
@jlv That swordfish was willing to go the distance to get you!!! Thanks for the comment and feedback! The hearts only progress the story... We should have used another item since it's confusing...
@scott-steffes Thanks for the comment! Sometimes the objects on the screen get a bit too hectic, so we opted for a smaller amount of them. We'll defiantly keep that in mind though for next time!
@navrcl I'm glad you enjoyed it! A lot of the objects in the game are physics based, so having some clunky controls seems to come with it...
@evepto Thanks for the comment! We wanted to have a fun story that would explain why our main character was in the predicament he was!
@alexsogge Thanks for playing the game! We hope you had a fun time playing it!
@grangerer We're glad you liked it! We had plans to make it longer, but didn't have enough time to implement it all... Thanks for playing!!!
@gamebuilder I'm glad you enjoyed the sprites and music! @saki-m worked hard on the sprites and @dizzy-dalvin was up until 3 am finishing the music!!!
@t-bo Glad you liked the art and obstacles! We all thought toilets were funny, but the gigantic hot dog was all @saki-m's idea
@savvy-community Thanks for the praise! Yeah, the corners were overlooked during production, so we'll keep that in mind for next time! Thanks for your constructive criticism!
@euler-moises Thanks for the comment! We planned to make the story more coherent at first, but decided that the theme was already weird enough that we mine as well have fun with every aspect of it. We'll keep in mind all of your points you brought up while we create our next game.
@jason-lothamer Thanks for your comment! We hope you enjoyed your time playing it!
@zimennik It needs some fixes for sure, but hopefully you had fun! I love the boss music too! @dizzy-dalvin did a great job on it!
@sillyman987 Nice!
I saw a post about this the other day while I was finishing up my game, and I've got to say, it's really cool. I was imagining something a bit faster paced, but overall, it was a really cool experience to have!
I liked the puzzles you made for this game! I hope you make more content like this!!!
The dinosaur graphics were amazing! But the as soon as I started the game, I had a ton of bugs leading to me only being able to play the game once... However, the only time I played, it started with me jumping to my death... I hope you can fix the bugs, so other people can have a good time playing your game!
I really want to eat some of Grandma's pizza now! But honestly, this was a lot of fun to play! I'm not sure if all the mechanics were working properly, but it was still a lot of fun!
Wow, really cool and original idea you've got here! It was a really fun puzzle game, and finding the different sounds was challenging, but not impossible to do. Thanks for making a cool game!
I loved the mood of this game! However, when I entered the apartment, left and re-entered, the screen turned blue, and I couldn't progress... If you fix the bugs, I'd really like to play it again!
I thought this was a really well done game in all. The only problem I had was once I returned to being a cat, all the dialogue went by so fast that I couldn't understand the ending. With a little work, you've got a fine game on your hands!
This was a fun little game you've made. I had fun figuring out which character needed which item!
I really enjoyed the creepy atmosphere! The game play was simple, but enjoyable due to the different enemy types! I just wish there was a counter for progress or an ending point to the game. Other than that, really awesome what you accomplished in only a few days!
The light disappearing really made the game tough, but it was extremely well done! I really like the atmosphere of the game. It really had a spelunking feel to it since everything was so dark and claustrophobic. Really cool game you made here! Keep it up!!!
I was looking forward to playing this, but after figuring out the jump button(W) there was nothing I could do to continue playing...
I think you had a great idea, but it would have been nice to move a bit faster or at least make the slow areas not as big. Also, yo might not have had time, but music or sound effects might have added to the game. If you can work out the kinks, I'd like to play it again!
