LD53 — Delivery

Radish Delivery by Gao Ming 2023-05-11T14:32:41Z

Feels polished and completed, great job with that! I really like the aspect of having multiple scoring rounds, meaning its not just about initially matching three. At some point, it got a bit difficult to see where boxes are placed, even with the indicator (which was a lifesaver/key feature). After playing I bit, I would have liked to see the station part go a bit faster. It racked up quite the waiting time, with multiple rounds of scoring and all the point animations.

The Infernal Trail by Tudvari 2023-05-11T14:28:29Z

Nice game, really reminds me of "Unrailed" paired with "Wild Woods". Only one type of attack (afaik) meant that options are exhausted really quickly. I felt like the roads should be placed at the feet, misplaced roads from time to time, because I expected it to be further down on the character.

Fantasy Retail Simulator by snesgaard 2023-05-11T14:15:56Z

I love it! Even the easy mode seems difficult. Feels finished, which is great for the Compo, meaning you made a good job scoping and getting things done.

Postominoes by Rawb 2023-05-11T14:20:54Z

Super cute game, very nice touch to have the packing order matter with the package colours. When first packing I didnt realise it, until I arrived at the first house. One small pointer, map and driving button do not really look like buttons which meant it took me a moment to figure that out.

Planet Quest by Corporation 2023-05-11T14:23:40Z

I love it! Feels finished, looks cute, has strategy in it and an interesting ending - meaning you delivered the whole package :) I also like the take on the theme, its not as straightforward, making it more interesting. One thing I didnt like is that the rockets poof when their target is destroyed. Meaning synced up rocket launchers caused some loss of structures. Played three times, beat it in the end. Could use a fast forward as well.

Satellite Delivery by LudumDareDevil 2023-05-11T14:25:48Z

Interesting take! I like the aspect of building a rocket and managing your workers, but how it played meant is to just build up structures and assign workers. The fire didnt actually mean I had to react, since the workers at that building were putting it out on their own immediately.

Pronto Velozza by StormSword 2023-05-11T14:14:36Z

Looks funky and has some nice effects, I like that. Two main points: make the deliver/pickup prompt in the corner more prominent and that the controls are not just WASD/arrows means that I had to learn the new controls.

Don't Stranding by nekowei 2023-05-11T14:18:08Z

Feels sandboxy, since there is no timer or pressure there and then it feels like there is little to do. I like the boat and the general premise though!

Logistical Nightmare by Roboolet 2023-05-01T16:39:40Z

Setting with the truck was cool, felt good enough to carry boxes. Biggest point for me was that at some point numbers on boxes changed / were not consistent with their shape. Could also add some visible time pressure. Overall nice one, good job!

Two For Flinching by SoulReviews 2023-05-11T14:36:30Z

Interesting take on the theme. I like the aspect of using planet physics to make your delivery. However, the lack of camera controls, to see what is actually where, made this really hard to play. I would like to see a camera pan and also maybe a speed up, if you want to get a specific angle. All in all, cute game!

Tears and Snails by Lyxali 2023-05-05T19:52:38Z

Thank you all for the kind words and feedback! I would have liked to add some visuals and UI that makes this easier to see (I indeed mostly tested in 1920x1080) and add more flavour. That there are no animations makes it also hard to see sth happened. But your comments are motivating to pick this up again after the rating period, make improvements to the balance, add some variety of cards and improve the other aspects that were pointed out.

Dialogue and the art is out of this world! :)
