(You are the) monster gaiden by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2015-08-25T13:59:00
Such a cute monster, loved his little snoozing animation. Would love to see a complete game like this.

Cute :) Obviously a bit unfinished, but I like the idea.
Really fun. Loved the simple graphics for the plane (and the background).
Haha, really fun. I loved his upbeat attitude. Would have been cool to be able to walk on buildings, since they looked so rectangular and inviting.
The first time I set off after carefully reading the stories of all the people I let on, and then seeing a lot of them die, was really powerful. Really liked it. I seemed to lose all my money every time I went, planning to come back to this and try and get a little further.
Really cool! I like how the different parts affect both appearance and function.
Fun game! Felt a bit imprecise to me, but I can see getting a bit more comfortable with it. I loved how the tourists bob up and down.
I commented on the Pico8 page as well, but wanted to add here, this was super good. Everything was just strange enough to be really appealing, and the tune that plays as cookie monster walks is adorable.
Really fun! Things got pretty easy in the middle once I had a sizable force, but got really tough once those laser guys showed up. I look forward to a more finished version! The UI was fantastic! I also have to say I love the thought of a war waging over thousands of years between humanity and some huge alien :)
So great.
Stuff I loved:
* The general concept and art style, beautiful
* The way the people ran away
* The explosion animation
* The way the twigs each made a different sound
* The bird's feet, super funny
Only thing I didn't really like was the lack of a clear objective, I thought maybe by collecting all the twigs I'd make a nest somehow, but it wasn't clear to me if collecting them all did nothing or if I just missed one.
Regardless, loved it.
Really cool! Loved all the art. Would be cool if the different methods of waking you up had different minigames, and it wasn't really clear to me how the different ones made a difference. Also loved the tunes!
The monster poses are super adorable. Hard but fun!
Nice, I really liked the monster image :) the voiceovers were really funny too.
Cute, a bit annoying that you have to hold left to shoot left, but the jumping felt good, and there were nice sound effects too :) I loved how you could shoot the enemies' bullets.
Awesome graphics, and the boss fight was clever! I had been wondering the point of the masks.
Really fun :D cool twist on resource management. I think it would have been a bit more interesting with a happiness cap and a longer castle, so I'd have to budget the destroyable stuff cleverly to make it through. Really cool idea though, and it's super fun as it is.
I'd love to see you take it further.
Really nice graphics. The character felt pretty good to control too, I bounced off the walls a couple times and that seemed cool, would have liked to see more of that.
Loved the design of Trevor :) The difficulty seemed to spike up quite a bit at times, though, maybe that was intentional.
Perfect. Amazing idea and execution.
Seems like if you get hit by two pacmans at the same time you lose two lives? Also annoying when I would trap myself on an island :(
Despite those minor things, agree with others that it was a nice relaxing game which did a great job introducing things before they were actually threatening. Great job.
