Keep It Olive by abhimonk 2020-04-24T01:15:00Z ♥ 2

Hahaha that was actually pretty funny, I love the mechanic of feeding the plant and making it follow you like a pokemon or something, very nice entry!

Run A Morte by thecrancher 2020-04-24T00:50:02Z ♥ 0

That was a prrety cool concept, I really like how the character was preparing to interact with different situations (even if most of them were pretty simple, still impressive). There were some issues here and there, but overall a good entry!

Interesting gameplay, although I have to say I was a little bit disappointed when Bear Grills didnt offer me a juicy worm as a reward...

Good entry!

Interesting take on the theme, unfortunately I tried solving the puzzle for 10 minutes before I gave up lol

A hint maybe?

LD45 — Start with nothing (6)

Race of time by Darkwing00Duck 2019-10-24T21:49:17Z ♥ 1

I love the concept, I feel like it has lots of potential if you can combine the building of the car and the race itself in some way. Maybe after a while you start losing pieces or the terrain changes so you have to create a different vehicle? Stuff like that may be really interesting

I think the game is hinders by the lack of a clear goal at the beginning, the controls and, more importantly, the apparent inability of getting back on track after falling from the sides. I tried for a while to no avail hahaha

Good job anyway!

Slime Slayer by ZachZ 2019-10-24T21:38:43Z ♥ 2

I find the idea of starting with nothing and then getting upgrades by defeating enemies, something that can work really well, but I feel like making those upgrades actually change the game in some way (the armor giving health, the sword making you stronger, etc) would improve the mechanic and make it more interesting.

Good effort nonetheless(´∀`)b

Cowquest by Overboy 2019-10-22T22:47:42Z ♥ 1

Wow, this one is definitely my favorite game from the jam yet!

First of all, I love the visuals, I feel like the low-res 3D aesthetics has lots of charm. Also, the music was superb, I specially liked the barracks theme, really catchy!

Secondly, I have to admit, when I saw the thumbnail I was totally expecting this to be a short joke-game, who would have thought I will end up loving those cows.

And finally, you guys probably already know this, but the walking speed was excruciatingly slow. Although I guess it is a good fit for the chill background music lol

Unfortunately, I got stuck in the battle/siege sequence (didnt have any units so I couldn't really do anything), but I still really enjoyed my time playing this. Really cool game, good job!!

Bob the Brawler by itsdanidre 2019-10-22T22:04:35Z ♥ 1

An interesting take on the theme, although I kind of feel like placing the walls didn't really give a great advantage, in my first go I died while trying to build a small fortress haha

I did much better in my second try: 1 - copia.PNG ;)

Tabula Rasa by Dis0rder 2019-10-20T19:48:58Z ♥ 1

Wow, that's a really strong opening! The music was on point, having that creepy feeling that immeditately caught my attention.

The gameplay was a little bit hard to get at first, and even after I understood the controls I struggled a little moving the player around. But I persisted cause I wanted to see the ending, and I feel it was worth it. Cool entry!

First thing I noticed: really nice CRT TV effect! add lots of charm to the visuals. I also really liked the graphics the fox-folks are really cute, each one in their own way. The mom's walking animation is also quite endearing.

I didn't quite figure out the game's goal, after amasing a good sum of money from beating up monsters (and dying a couple of times alon the way, those slimes are tough), I came back to the village expecting to spend that money on something, but didn't really found that option. Maybe I missed something?

Anyway, overall a nice entry!
