Safari wouldn't load it. The page stalled out about 90% through. I was using Safari and don't know if that made a difference.

I totally didn't get the "don't kill flowers and butterflies" until after the first play through, and once I did the game not only became way more fun but it actually kind of got to me — the whole poignancy of your theme. I'd love to see you take this theme and develop a more involved game out of it!
The new take on asteroids didn't really hold my attention, but I seriously dug the music and the smooth gameplay. It felt like something was missing, but I'm not sure what it was — maybe a force-field, a warp key that would maybe transport everything to different locations, or maybe like a secret weapon called a neuclidian cannon that creates an area where non-Euclidean geometry is in effect? Maybe a Z-Ray gun that forces things to jump through the third dimension? That'd be really sweet!
Is it set up to play on a computer or just on a console? the start button wouldn't activate on mine.
Can't wait to play it on the browser since I can't open it on my mac!
This was a pretty fun game and held me for about ten minutes (which is pretty good for me). There wasn't enough variation of interactivity to keep a sense of a story going, but considering the limitations of the competition this was strong. I really liked the changing chords when you made a sacrifice. I think a better mechanic for movement/shooting would be to always move relative to the position of the cursor. In other words, if you press (for example) 's' you'd move away from your cursor, but 'w' would move you toward your cursor. 'A' and 'd' would then be used for strafing. That would always make the cursor the player's centre of focus, encouraging its use to aim.
This was really fun with great sound design — I kept playing just for that "agh" when the guy dies! This brought a huge smile to my face!
Controls were smooth, and I liked the sound design, not to mention the overall concept. The one thing that stood out as something I would have liked to be different is that the pathfinding for the guys chasing you just turned into running in a big circle or a figure eight if you wanted to get to the well in the middle. Maybe some mechanic that changed the protectors' behaviour could shake that up. Linking life to weapon is a really cool idea, though!
This was hysterical to play and the look was gorgeous! It was tough, though! I played it a few times and I just ended up smashing keys and hoping for the best. Thanks for a great laugh though!
I love the idea of this game! It still needs some work for playability, clarity of rules, etc. but it's a great start!
