I wish I had the time to print and play this game. It looks like you put a lot of effort into it; good job!

I wish I had the time to print and play this game. It looks like you put a lot of effort into it; good job!
This is the first java game I've seen on the site. Unfortunately, it also doesn't run properly on my machine; the only thing I can rate you on is the title sceen music, which is pretty good. Otherwise, I just have a white window and can't really do anything. It's a shame, though, you have a really attractive name and cover art!
I have the feeling that, if I played this game more, I would have a better understanding of how exactly it worked, and I would be having a lot more fun. But as it stands, its confusing and feels a little directionless. I had an inventory full of "kill" cards and couldn't figure out how to discard any, and then the game decided to stop passing turns.
This game looks like it would be fun to play in theory, but I just wasn't making any progress for it to feel worthwhile.
I'm really impressed with the amount of work that was put into this; you have a really solid aesthetic. It took me a bit to realize exactly what was happening, or how I should defend my base from the mosquitos and it felt a little too difficult, but the resource management and everything has the potential to be really, really fun. Keep polishing this game and you have something sellable.
This is really nice, and a unique way of approaching the choose your own adventure format. As others have said, I usually don't read through the text in these kinds of games - but the writing is really nice and engaging. I haven't managed to find the right combination of abilities yet, but I'm sure I could map it out. I'm giving you full marks. Really nice job.
I played through it again; didn't realize that there was a branch in the path. The way it was worded made me think that the library was simply a side path. But I beat the game! I really enjoyed it.
This game is really well put together! The power mechanic is super fun, and I would keep playing just to get a high score. Nicely done!
The mechanics are very nice, but it does get a little tedious. I played a few levels, but the prospect of playing through the whole game felt like a chore, so I didn't finish it. I really liked what you were going for though, and solid use of the theme.
The art style is really nice and consistent, but the sound design is a little lacking. This would be a cool shooter if you added more powerups and different types of enemies!
Really well put together, I can tell you do this kind of thing often. Really great use of aesthetic, but I feel like the theme isn't really present. If it is, it's a bit of a stretch.
I really like the theme and the aesthetic; the humor is spot on. But, it's a clicker game with not really any twist; i barely think about the energy mechanic, only about how long it takes to get the new protesters. After I got to the "I don't want to be criticized for my work" level, I closed the game. I would invest in a new piano soundfont too, since the one you used was a little annoying.
But, you finished a game, and that's much better than what I did. Good job.
These are some very interesting controls! I wish the batteries gave more energy, though.
I played the first two levels, and I had fun. This isn't the best or funnest game to me, but you did a good job
I swear I've seen this mechanic somewhere before - but you did a really good job of nailing the aesthetic
This is pretty great, I had a lot of fun. Good implementation of the mechanic; I was actually thinking about my decisions and how they would affect my success. I can't really say that there's anything bad about this game, other than that it's not polished to a sparkly sheen. Great job.
This is a really good concept, and I could see myself having more fun if I had more immediate feedback on my actions. As it is, I can't really tell if I'm winning or losing or even if my base has health. It definitely looks like something that can be perfected with more time, though
You really nailed the aesthetic; I knew this was a good game the moment I realized that the solution to one of the puzzles was to eat the cinder block. My only complaint is that the puzzles are a little too exact as to what they want you to do most of the time.
I got to 11 kills, and the enemies stopped coming. I like the idea of enemies draining your stats, but there wasn't much of it. My attack hitboxes are also pretty small. I would like to see this game in a more polished state.
This is a pretty basic clicker game, I wish there was more to do - but good job on making a finished product.
