Really loved the idea and the graphics! Sound was pretty intense and engaging too. Possibly my only criticism is that walking around kinda felt like I was walking on ice, I'm not sure if it was by design or not but I'd release the movement key and I'd still move a little bit, so it sorta looked like I was sliding. Other than that I thought it was great!
Gotta agree that the start was real tough, but it was a nice game that I enjoyed playing for a bit. Sound was a bit loud but maybe that was just my computer. Awesome to see that more Godot entries are popping up!
Saw this game in progress and I was looking forward to playing it so I'm glad I finally got the chance! It lived up to my expectations and then some. The only problem I had was that I couldn't quite tell if the debug/polish buttons were doing anything and there were some UI issues where the boxes would be too low and clip through the text. Other than that loved the idea!
I thought it was a cool concept! Loved the idea, it really reminded me of games like Papers, Please The only thing I found hard was that it was hard to keep track of who you had inspected, and when I did actually find a match, they had wandered so far that I lost them, which made the game pretty much unbeatable.
Thought it was great! Soundtrack was nice and reminded me a lot of old doom. Thought character movement was a bit slow unfortunately
I think my initial criticism of the game was that it didn't provide you with enough info about what you were supposed to do, but I realised as I played more that it was a strength of the game, reminded me a lot of the old zelda games. Plus the soundtrack was awesome, really enjoyed it!
Lot of fun! Was just a bit difficult to figure out how to get it going, but once you did it became super enjoyable.
Real cute! Not sure it it was just me but in order to actually highlight anything I had to offset the mouse by a little bit, maybe a little indicator could help with this that follows the center of the screen. Other than that the concept was cool and I enjoyed playing it.
@BoopsGames Thank you! Yeah I think it was a consequence of the time constraints, I wanted to incorporate more platformer elements but focused a bit too much on the system itself. Thank you for the kind words
@call-me-nutty Thanks a lot! Yeah I reckon if I would have done it again, I probably would have made enemies spawn from both the left and the right and have the idol in the middle, probably would have made it a bit more of a challenge. Glad you enjoyed it!
@calmurion Thanks a lot! Could you describe the bug?
