LD48 — Deeper and deeper

The Squeaky Affair by bmacintosh 2021-04-27T23:29:59Z

Overall, a really solid game with a great premise that doesn't wear itself out! Very nice introduction to the mechanics of the game, and hearing "Iiiinteresting..." when I finished the puzzle was great.

Dig Deeper & Digger by gonutz 2021-04-27T15:50:58Z

Though the core gameplay loop is solid, the game feels sluggish due to initial speeds and how it controls. The graphics look good, though I personally dislike the music and sound effects.

Little Lost Sheep by Hydezeke 2021-04-27T15:44:15Z

A heartrending story accompanied by the appropriate music, this game is a very solid entry. Points for fish kissing and b-hopping.

Neon Maze by OMG BlackBeard 2021-04-27T14:51:51Z

Playing on the WebGL version on Chrome, it seems like there's an issue with the controls and camera. The animations are smooth and the character looks pretty cool, though the hallways feel way too long even with sprinting. It got a little boring a few minutes in when all I was doing was walking through hallways and around spinning cubes. Also the hallway texture is transparent at the bottom, letting me see the ground and skybox. All in all, a bit lacking in fun but it's a very solid entry!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Bomb Shift by klianc09 2022-04-07T21:23:13Z

Simple, short, fun, though it could be explained that you could merge two of the same bomb together to merge their timers.

Lethal Dice 50 by marcmagus 2022-04-07T21:08:04Z

As a side note, I misread the rules and played the game exponentially (all scored cards get added, not just one) but still had a fun time doing so! (And besides, like all tabletop games house rules can shake things up anyway. Exponential play makes it shorter and more risky, which I personally prefer.)

I enjoyed the concept of the game, pushing your luck so that you can still score but keeping the total under 50. I played the tabletop simulator version while reading the rules pdf, and had a good time with it! I also like the novelty of a dice and paper game in the game jam, and might try out some house rules in the future to play with other people too.

Cat in the Bag by JoshH 2022-04-05T22:12:17Z

My only complaint about the game is that the skip dialogue button will skip the text even if nothing is shown. It appeared to softlock during the ending sequence, though according to other bits of feedback this is quasi-intentional. I enjoyed the game!

Never Alone by fachscahfttf 2022-04-07T21:19:32Z

Nice work on the multiplayer aspect! also shoutouts to Pacifist, they've got 50k points without taking a single shot
