This was pretty fun, actually. Basic controls and the drifting of the submarine works really well. Also, I quite fancied the bubble parallaxing :D

The music choice is perfect, and the graphics are beautiful and perfectly fitting! Despite a few clipping bugs, it was fun and challenging. Very good work"
I quite liked the idea, although the game is really hard and the perspective given didn't really let me see very clearly what was going on. By the time I realized, it was too late :(
Excellent choice of graphics and sounds, I would like to see more of this.
This was a very clever game. In the beginning I was a bit confused about what to do, but it actually was really a blast to play. The puzzles are very well designed, and I'm a total nutter for Pixel graphics, so overall a really nice experience. Well done!
I enjoyed quite a lot playing this! It took me a bit to figure out how to resurface, but once I got that out of the way the rest was really fun to play! Plus your pixel art and animations are fantastic. Good work!
This game was actually very fun to play. Tense, and compelling. The only thing that I kind of missed was some sort of visual indicator to know which ships I have already sabotaged or not, especially on the final levels. Overall, very good work. Looking forward to see more of you guys!
Fantastic game. The level design is very clever and the concept is really exciting. If you actually made a nice package of levels and a level editor I'm seeing this as a full product, definitely!
Damn, this is easily the funniest entry for the jam I've played so far. Good job, guys! I'm going to definitely keep playing it for a while :D
Sois la leche, gente.
Nice and original concept. I quite liked the idea. However, it is in need of a bit more playtest, since the balancing doesn't allow the player to have a fair experience. I've had the issue that only one of the players gets items, so the other one just starved to death. Good effort, though, thanks for submitting!
I had fun playing it, thanks a lot for sharing! Nice music and gloomy graphics go very well with the ambience you wanted to achieve. Kudos!
The installer did work for me, but I will check tonight see if I can upload another executable without installing version :)
Seeing how many people were having problems with the installer, I've exported a single-run executable and uploaded it instead. The game is exactly the same, no changes have been made, so please try again and don't hesitate to let me know if there are any more problems :)
Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you all for taking your time and leaving your feedback (both good and bad!) It's very helpful! :)
Very good entry! It's a bit difficult to get from where to aim to the vibrants (or civilians!), but other than this a very nice concept and fun. Kudos!
My duck warrior died when I was cleaning my boots :(
Very nice entry, filled with quirk humor and fantastic art and music. I'm not sure if I understood how the "adventure objective" slot machine works, however.
All in all, very good fun, would kill pug queen 5 more times :D
Nice entry! Kudos on the song and the sound design. Although I'm not entirely sure about how the wall-riding works, I managed to understand the basic game mechanics.
Although I suck at it, I had fun with it. I wish I could rate it, but for some reason, the site won't let me!
I like the idea of only being able to bounce on the same color, but the speed of your square and the alternating colors are a bit too unpredictable to go far on it. Even when I figured out what I had to do, I never managed to reach a score higher than 3 because either I was too slow to calculate which square I would hit, or because the color changed on the very last second making me lose. With a bit more work on this, I can see how this can be really fun, so keep trying!
Fantástica entrada. Si tuviese algún amigo con quien probarlo en condiciones puedo asegurar que nos garantizaría un buen rato. ¡Genial trabajo!
Every piece of feedback is welcome and will help me become a better developer in the future, so fire away! <3
That is correct. It's a bug that I also noticed but didn't know exactly how to solve without breaking the whole thing. Esentially, if you reach the goal while jumping too far to the right the animation will trigger a bit too late.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks for the nice feedback!
@Anshul Goyal: I completely see your point. The main objective is not really "reach the end" but "reach the end with as many characters as possible". This is not made very clear right away, but the "ending" you get depends on how many guys survive by the end of the game. I wish I could have made it fancier, but there *is* a difference. I don't know, when I first thought of it I thought that it would add some replayability to the game ;)
@Hellequin: Glad that you liked it! Thanks for voting!
@paperscraps: Thanks for the nice comment! I'm glad you enjoyed!
Very nice entry. I really liked it!
I missed some in-game explanation about what the turrets do. I like how despite how simplistic the graphics for the enemies are, the "pulsing" animation they have when shooting made it for me.
For improvements, the aim of the green turrets seems to be a bit off when it comes to fast objects. There is no way to stop them! And also, I suggest that the red turret limitation should be clarified or at least make it possible to move the turrets around (with a cost, if you want to keep the design).
Great work, looking forward to see your results!
Very, very smart design, I loved it! Congratulations!
Nice entry! Very solid mechanics and fun to play. The perfect example of how pissing off the wrong person can decimate entire armies ;)
Cool game! There's little more I can say that has not been already said. Keep it up!
This was actually an amazing entry! It's short, but extra kudos to you for having to learn without using the Internet at all! If I may ask, what TTS tool and effects did you exactly use to make the robot's voice? I'm very interested on this!
Fantastic entry. You have all my likes.
Major Spaceman can be very distracting on the tutorial, though, as you've got to keep an eye on both the screen and what he says at the same time. Other than this, the only negative point that I could find is that without the three-way power-up the game becomes extremely hard to beat whenever you reach the final boss.
That didn't stop me from trying a few times, though :P
Very enjoyable, thanks a lot for making it!
Before anyone says anything about animal cruelty: Know that I have three cats myself at home, and that I don't throw them around. This is all a work of fiction, and should NEVER be related with animal cruelty. Treat them with respect! <3
Thanks, Franklin's Ghost!
About the non-restarting score, I noticed it very late and haven't had a chance to fix it yet. I may re-upload a fixed version tonight :)
Thanks so much Newan!!
I've updated the version with a fix for the resetting score and a couple of audio problems. It should work now :)
Thanks for the feedback guys! KCrimson, I really wanted to put some music on it, but all my attempts to make something chiptuny ended in failure... Maybe for the final version :)
Pretty fun game, good job! I loved the idea of rubbing the character on the carpet with the mouse cursor and the ability to zap more than one alien at the same time if positioned correctly! On the other hand, I think the either the waves are way too long, or I am not informed on when the wave is cleared and a new one is starting. It would be useful to have a sense of accomplishment :)
Great entry overall, congratulations!
Hi Erlend, thanks for your comment! Well, it wouldn't be a boss fight if he didn't have a bunch of HP, am I right? :P It gets somehow easier if you cooperate with a friend *wink wink*
And yes, I wanted to make the attacks more about the timing and less about coming in slashing everything. It adds a bit of spice and challenge to the game, as you mentioned :)
I hope you enjoyed it, thanks!
Very enjoyable game, good work! As a suggestion for an improvement, it would be nice to have some sort of indicator of where the ships are, like arrows pointing to them, if you are very far away from one you can eat. Also, I was not able to finally beat the game since I didn't know how to break the dam on the south east city. Nevertheless, an excellent entry, lovely graphics, good music and very enjoyable overall :)
