LD21 — Escape

Fragmentation by Riley Adams 2011-08-22T22:25:00

I thought the level deconstructing itself was very cool, but there are too many different control schemes and the idea get boring very quickly. I feel like it would have been much more interesting if you kept the level falling apart idea, but turned it into an exploration game instead.

Reality by neonaxil 2011-08-23T01:36:00

This does not appear to be playable, but its a nice idea.

Crystal Conduit by Daz 2011-08-23T01:33:00

While the game seems interesting, the missiles are almost impossible to dodge and its extremely unclear where one is going, and mistakes are punished too harshly.

Prelude of the Chambered by Notch 2011-08-22T22:19:00

Excellent game, but I feel that the ghost maze was just too difficult to get through. Despite this, one of the best entries to LD48.

Many_Many_Spiders by rom016 2011-08-23T01:48:00

Annoying, difficult and based almost entirely on luck.

graphite by Pixelking 2011-08-23T01:27:00

This appears to be practically unplayable. There is still a movement glitch, and ignoring that you fall through the floor at random points.

Left by SLiV 2011-08-26T04:19:00

A clever, innovative concept that is hard as balls to beat, and the objective isn't very clear at first.

The Cloud of Very Angry Electrons by Erik McClure 2011-08-23T09:39:00

I never got building collision to work, sadly. It's a little more fun if you pretend you can't place buildings on top of each other, but alas, things did not go well.

The Cloud of Very Angry Electrons by Erik McClure 2011-08-24T00:42:00

I'm thinking of adapting some of the gameplay elements for a more complete game sometime in the future. I wanted to put in a line that designated what a building was receiving power from, but never had time. For that matter your relays can get blown up and the buildings will still function despite technically not being powered.

8 ways by Meedoc 2011-08-26T04:24:00

This was rather confusing do to the bizarre layouts of the rooms. At first I didn't actually realize it was 3D until I started moving around. The 8 ways to win part is innovative, though.

Escape or Die by Team Zarkoman 2011-08-23T01:51:00

Simple, short, but at least playable, if a bit silly.

Lost World Lucy by Zaron 2011-08-22T22:21:00

Not the most original thing ever, but the execution is superb and the game is very fun. There are a few balancing issues with being swarmed at later levels, but still one of the top LD48 games that I've played.

Where am I? by Wingy 2011-08-23T01:58:00

While simple, this was actually a rather fun, amusing little game, if difficult to keep going for more than a few minutes.

LD22 — Alone

The Snubbing of the Squid by James Paige 2011-12-21T22:06:00

I kept trying to get into the ceiling but couldn't figure out what you were supposed to do and so had to cheat to see the ending. Apparently you were supposed to get into the ceiling so now I'm just confused.

A Rift in Space by Erik McClure 2011-12-21T22:19:00

That's a weird bug with the postprocessing, I haven't seen that anywhere else. It seems similar to the other bug I had but it wasn't caused by postprocessing. The game is supposed to quit when you get swallowed by the black hole though.

A Rift in Space by Erik McClure 2012-01-08T01:59:00

If the game crashes on startup, I recommend double-checking you have openAL installed.

Alone in the Ark by PaulWagener 2011-12-21T21:56:00

I really liked this, everything in the game felt like it fit together, even if the sound and graphics weren't the best ever. The representation of space as 3D was very clever. I like the backstory even if you didn't have time to include it, I hope you try to expand it one day.

Tavern Wench - The Quest To Be Alone by SarahFrisk 2012-01-03T02:06:00

Its unfortunate that the game is in such an unfinished state. Better luck next time!

Forgotten Memories by Ludexor Studios 2011-12-19T23:29:00

I really enjoyed this, I think its a really innovative idea that generates very interesting visuals.
