Cool card game. The mechanics is interesting. I love it.
Nice, not quite my type of game but I can feel the work you put in
Really smart! Great job.
It looks interesting, not a fan of card games.
Hey good job! That was a very well executed idea! Also, the tutorial was a really nice thing to add!
A clear and solid design that was cleanly executed. Perhaps it gets harder as it goes along, but I was winning flawlessly for around eight rounds, and it just being infinitely more of the same wasn't very compelling. Perhaps it's too well balanced? Similar games to this I feel have more crazy combos you can set up, or have used against you, though perhaps the economy is too simple for that here.
A small technical note is the sound effects were a bit loud for me compared to the background music.
whoops double post
What a great game! I love card games, and this one is very polished. I like that processes persist from round to round, and I enjoyed the depth. Watchdog is a seriously overpowered card 👍 As a fan of the card game Netrunner, I’ll definitely add this one to my favorites and come back to play more.
@nathmate - Ya i think the AI optimized the balance to beable to beat every enemy by at least 80% so it kind of took out any difficulty spikes which eliminates some of the "i just survived by the skin of my teeth" effect.
@ingi Thanks for playing - i'm seriously thinking about taking the game up to steam after alot more polish and card depth.
It's funny that you used AI to handle balancing, which sounds like a potentially good idea, since big data etc etc, but balancing turned out to be probably the weakest point - I spent a lot of time playing this game and did not feel like I'm progressing anywhere, the fights were just too easy, the progression slow, and so the wins felt kinda meaningless, so I just gave up after maybe 20+ games.
I liked the stylization, sound was alright, the game loop was good, the special enemies were a nice touch. Overall I had fun (until I didn't, I guess)
Cool concept and excellent execution! The polish and various effects really make up for the relatively simple visuals. The gameplay is surprisingly exciting and keeps you hooked. I really enjoyed it!
@parxer Thanks for the play - ya this is the first time i've used AI for balancing like this and now I know how to better interpret its results. I will say I think it did catch some game breaking "difficulty walls" from my initial implementation so I think overall it made the game more approachable for everyone but that then gives is a lack of "OMG is almost survived" or "WOW i survived"
@anku Thanks for playing - I tried to spend most of my time on the code and the card key art so thats why the UI is relatively simple. Was aiming for on-theme and fun over fancy visuals. I did key art because after playtesting it I realized that humans key off the card art as a mental/visual shortcut for the cards ability. That was definitely an interesting fun thing to learn while building.
What a fun game!

Only could be a bit more challenging, especially as it goes on. Initially one has to think at least a little bit, later it gets more boring. Still played to round 100, so its still adicting ;D
That was fun! It got way too easy when I got a Recursive Loop, kinda ended the game there. I could see with some more balance and escalating enemies this could be great though.
This is a conceptually really fun game, it's interesting playing a deck builder where you have to balance the two separate resources (CPU and RAM), the latter of which the enemy is also constantly eating at and you're sacrificing as processes are killed.
That said, I think this game is VERY lopsided to the player, and I found myself crushing most combats by round 15 (I went until round 30). Most enemies can be killed with a few damaging processes and those that don't aren't much of a threat otherwise. The only real threat to spamming processes at the enemy is the enemy that only dies upon restoring integrity, but it poses very little threat otherwise (sure it scales damage each turn, but restoring 10 integrity is not a tough bar to clear).
Besides the balancing, I do wish I could see my deck so I know what would make sense for me to add to it when I pick new cards.
This is a great game idea and is surprisingly fun, thank you for sharing!
Excellent entry. Very fun and easy too understand.
Fun though not too tricky, the long lived processes made it easy, maybe give the enemies the dreaded out of memory killer if you max out RAM that will start killing your processes at random :)
- Balancing is great for an easy mode for the first few rounds, then it sucks because it doesn't keep up with the player power level. - It'd be nice to have an option to instantly execute your turn so that when you have a ton of cards you aren't just sitting there for ages. - It would be nice if you could play the cards that 'add temp memory', and play cards on top of/stacked on that one (rather than before/after it in the execute order) to be played next turn at whatever point in the order the 'add temp memory' card is at. - Discarding cards is annoying, I wish all card manipulation actions could be done with a quick swipe into a dedicated fraction of the screen using the mouse - CPU is pointless for the entire game. Early-game you don't have enough cards, and late-game when malware makes you wipe all your processes and start over from nothing (needing CPU to play cards) you have a bunch of extra CPU from the `+1 CPU +1 RAM` cards - Commands are underpowered, you probably need an enemy that's immune to processes. - Fixing this may fix the CPU issue as a side effect too. - You might also need to add some mechanics like "Draw x command cards" during balancing --- The malware addition was great, I almost quit before I saw it (first sighting pictured): Screenshot_20261024_211732.png
It caused me to have to rethink my entire strategy, and they started occurring frequently enough that I was in serious danger. ...Then I realized its damage doesn't ramp up, like with the heal-to-kill enemy. So with 5+5 shield and data miners I was able to pretty confidently declare the game won (can get every card into my hand before resetting and continuing) Screenshot_20261024_215928.png
Nice work! This was a little tedious late-game but a lot of fun. You should definitely consider doing a steam release, I could see this being a lot of fun with serious balancing and added depth. I don't normally play card games, so I don't know what's out there, but multiplayer (pvp or co-op) would be interesting to try, although that idea wasn't really inspired by this game, I was playing games with friends earlier today :P
