Super cool visual aesthetic!!
Cool visuals, but I spent quite a time to figure out which units are hostile
WOW, the game is fully featured, the character designs are beautiful, and all the little animations are great, I love the music, the mechanics look cool (I say that because this kind of game isn’t my favorite, but I have to admit they’ve put in a lot of effort), the game itself is beautiful, the UI is really cool, the only thing I can say is that for the tutorial section, you should include images in addition to the text, because having just text is a bit of a pain. But well done, it’s incredible that you pulled this off for a Game Jam!!!
Nice Game. The character designs are great.
The story, game play, narrative, and art are so well polishes! I agree with the comment above that the sprites on the play field can be hard to distinguish. I enjoy the turn based combat, and the chracter personalities! great job!!
Wish i could see the full character art more. Very fun spinn on the turn based rpg!
Very interesting game! Always have wondered about a strategy game with limited control of the units. Good idea and good implementation
I like the setting of defending a train in a post-apo setting. Plus, moving and slashing at the same time is a cool take on the genre. With that being said, it's hard. It's hard because you cannot distinguish easily between allies and foes. It's hard because I have virtually no idea of the enemy intents.
That's a great idea. But of course the enemies need to be designated somehow, I thought because of a bug my units don't want to beat for some reason.
- The art and music feels super immersive and cohesive in setting the scene while being visually clear and easy to understand... love the character sprite popups in-game. Well done! - The attack/defense UI with the little squares is nice once you figure it out, I feel like I know the ranges of everything and can take my turn without too much of an issue. - The balance feels very difficult to keep your characters alive - It's not very clear from the explanation/UI when certain actions are adjudicated i.e. does your player shoot/take damage before or after enemies and before or after each other, which matters a lot for turn based strategy - The dialogue at the beginning felt a little long and excessive
Game was fun but as someone who plays mostly 3d fps games I was a bit lost. Wish the controls were a bit more clear or I had a higher IQ.
I love the roster of characters you have here. Lots of fun designs, and the story was pretty cool.
I'm not sure if the plasma-smoke has any indication of it appearing, and it also removed my ability to select units inside it, which made it feel a bit "unfair" at times, when it was significantly out of my control whether I survived an enemy approaching or not.
After pulling out the abacus, I can confidently state that this game has won the **Wow, that's a large cast of cool characters** award.

I really like this game! As other mentioned, it is kinda hard to tell the units apart and I was wondering why I couldn't use certain units - turns out those were the enemies. I also thought the tutorial could use some pictures, as they are basically just the text from the main page and don't really add new information. I also wish they were an option to just move a unit without using an action and maybe even have enough SP for every unit. Because I ended up underusing some units, as I needed the SP to move the units around. Lastly it might be more interesting in a tactical sense if the player might be able to see the next actions of the enemies.
This game very reminds me of early 2000s indie games. Really great art and character design. Gameplay is pretty challenging and has a lot of depth despite using only 4 characters.
A good implementation of turn-based gameplay. Even though I read the guide on how to play the game, I didn't figure it out right away. Turn-based games are too complicated for me, hahah х) But I liked the graphics and the design of the girls. A very cool project, worth the time.
I really like the art and music. The control was a bit hard to understand at first. And I'm not too good to win it, but it is a nice game. Good job!
This is great! Very fleshed out for a jam game. The graphics, gameplay, and audio are all on point. I do feel like it dragged on a little too long without much in the way of variety, though, and I eventually lost both my guard and my healer on the same turn, which prompted me to give up. I really enjoyed it up to that point, though!
Congrats on the detailed art and combat system. If there are multiple levels more than level 0, then they seem long to get to the next part. Nice touch on having the characters complain when hit by friendly fire.
Great idea. I like the way the sound effects are created. Additionally, the UI interface design is very clear and straightforward. The game has strong guidance, which is really great.
