I always wanted to drift an ambulance. Great visual style.
I really love the art style and the handling of the cars—I even actually managed to flip my vehicle over while driving! The only minor issue was that it was sometimes a bit difficult to locate the patient when approaching the destination. It was a lot of fun!
Really liking the artstyle and the soundtrack!
It's always a pleasure to play good classic GTA missions! ))))) Very nice graphics and music.
Grate game, driving feels good but sometimes weird shit happends, I don't know why but camera was littly laggy, other then that everything was amazing
As a UE C++ developer, I’m always happy to see Unreal used in jams (even though I usually stick to Unity for the shorter ones). I’m curious, did you guys go with C++ or Blueprints for this?
Regarding the game, you absolutely nailed the visual style. I enjoyed the driving and drifting in the ambulance so much that I eventually started ignoring the patients just to drive around!
One technical note: I assume Lumen is on, but it feels a bit redundant with this art style. My GTX 1060 could only squeeze out 30 FPS, so it might be worth looking into for optimization
Lots of original ideas here! The pitch of the game itself being to listen to people's BPM, the 3D mini-map that was just gorgeous, and the overall style of the game. Loved it! A bit tricky to control the car and it was somehow a bit laggy on my end but great job :)
Hello @skale, thank you for the feedback. We use both blueprint and c++.
Nice job guys. Visuals sooo cute
This is a great one! I loved the visuals and handling of the ambulance!
Great low-poly visuals and fun driving, though controls can feel a bit weird and there are minor lags
Nice Visuals so cute. Sadly the traffic has godmode. Otherwise fun entry.
Awesome graphisms! Loved the backing beeping sound, felt like a forklift truck :joy:
I have to admit driving so badly that I almost caused more accidents than I helped to resolve... I'm relieved there's no pedestrians in those streets.
This is a pretty unusual game. So far at this game jam, I haven’t seen many games featuring cars. It fits the theme well and boasts excellent sound and graphics, but in my opinion, it could have been made more engaging. I also want to note that the car’s controls weren’t very responsive; at high speeds, it was impossible to control. Furthermore, right from the start, the game’s frame rate dropped significantly (I’m using an RTX 3060 and R7 5700x).
Very cute character and animations. Sometimes when the car flips over, it doesn’t stand back up.
The ambulance was so fun to drive I almost forgot to help the patients. Love the attention to detail, even the minimap looks beautiful. My only complaint is that the game lags from time to time.
~~Sadly, I cant run it properly on my current machine. I have to try again on another system~~
Edit: Ran it on another System now. Very nice graphics, but bit janky physics sometimes. Really enjoyable though.
The aesthetics are killing me, such a beautiful entry!!! p.p Thank you so much for the eye candy <3
Beautiful cell shading style! The game was lagging a lot at first (then it got better) I like the idea of the game, cool entry
Great visuals and animations, reminds me of the old school arcade game Crazy Taxi. The default setting made it run a bit slow on my pc, but as soon as I turned off motion blur it ran fine. GG!
The art is beautiful! It's a bit confusing how the signal indicators jump around so much, which made me unsure where to go. But other than that nice entry!
