The interpretation and application of the theme are spot on. The conceptual design of the building is great, but it lacks some novice guidance and I don’t know what to do with it. Overall a great, very innovative game, five-star praise! We look forward to your coming to play our games, thank you

DUDE. I can't express how much I loved this game, this was an idea that I've wanted to do personally (but w/o the music twist) and I am so so so excited and amazed to play something like this. I loved the rhythm game aspect and the ambiance, and world was so amazing. Only critique is that the fuel balls tended to roll off screen unexpectedly. Anyways amazing job!!

I really liked this one. I wish there was more feedback on my note accuracy but there's only so much you can do in a jam. This idea has legs :joy: Keep on making games!

This is so cool! Really loved the idea and implementation. Well done!

I really liked the concept of this game! The Howl's Moving Castle vibes were great, and having a giant organ automaton that you pilot is a really cool idea. I wish I had more of a sense of why the rhythm game mattered, but it was a fun little adventure. :)

I really enjoyed this game! The eerie mood was very compelling, and the mechanics were unique. The contraption was extremely cool to ride and interact with -> it reminded me of Howl's Moving Castle. The graphics matched the feel of the game with simple background music to add to the ambiance. The gameplay mechanics had some rough edges: I feel like the gravity was a bit lower than one would expect and as a result, the character would keep getting caught on ledges when jumping up into or down out of the castle. The rhythm aspect was neat, if there were more time it would have been cool to see what you could do with it. It definitely left me curious about the story/background of the universe.

@frozenfire92 I swear I tried to give more feedback in the notes but it was bugging so much

@dylan-shumway Thanks man, the music while you walk is to speed up the robot, the meteor one is create a shield to protect you. I should explain it better thanks for taking a time to play and for the feedback!

Thank you guys your feedbacks are really important to me! And is making me want to continue/finish the game haha

I'm really impressed by the "feel" of the universe here. The little dude reminded me of a lego minifig. I got stuck at the first gate though. I filled the fuel (took me a while to figure out) and played the song which opened the door, but it wouldn't move when I pressed the go button. I tried the song many times, and the door stopped going up even when I missed notes, so I think I got enough of them right? If I'm missing something, plesae let me know. Otherwise, I'll try it again from the beginning in case it was glitching.

Hi @comicsans thank you for playing! You can walk through the door if you got 70% of the notes of the music, I failed in giving a better visual feedback but yeah you need to keep playing even if the door is full open to make sure you hit at least 70% of the music  doing that if you have fuel the castle should move it by itself when you finish the song

Good game! -J

Very ambitious concept with some lovely world building.

I did find an "exploit" that might help rhythmically challenged people: there seems to be no penalty for pressing the wrong button, so to turn it into easy mode you can just press QWER all at the same time each time :P

This is so cool. It has such a great sense of "scale" - I really felt like I was a small part of this huge world, and I just loved the concept of this giant organ-controlled robot. It's a little rough around the edges - I found collecting fuel a little tedious and the rhythm section a little buggy - but in terms of the atmosphere you created, this might be my favorite jam game yet. Amazing work.

I absolutely love the aesthetic and world building going on here. Not sure why cars are currently on fire while I'm piloting my walker powered by ancient organ technology. But hey. The atmosphere gave me From Software vibes. The church-mech was so cool, I wish I could have gone up in the steeples to look ahead or something.

So let me repeat, the world, atmosphere, mech, and tone are all amazing. That being said, I got stuck on the 3rd rhythm section (the falling meteors) and couldn't progress past that point. I just suck at rhythm games in general. But that was frustrating, because I wanted to see more of the world and how the game ended. I even walked all the way over as the little guy to find a big door, which meant there was content I was missing.

Maybe have a mercy rule that after 3 attempts you can progress the story regardless. Yeah, I'm a filthy casual when it comes to rhythm games. This is the Dark Souls of Guitar Hero . The music was great though, loved the build up and beat drop for the meteor shower!

Keep building this world! It's too unique to not be fleshed out more!

Edit: Quick thought - it would be neat if the camera zoomed in on the guy playing the organ and you saw the notes slide down the organ pipes instead of having it be a separate UI. Give me those Davy Jones emotions!
