What a vibes I get from an art style! 5/5
Music and mood were solid, took a few attempts before understanding some of the underlying mechanics
Some kind of surrender from the opponent is missing
its like catan, i think
Great concept that you could build off easily if you wanted to! I was able to win on my first try. I liked the mechanics of upgrading and the random negative events to change the game a bit from the otherwise repetitive turn to turn. I don't think I found the use for bread, and I also think it would be nice if the opponent castles tried to fight back somehow, maybe by retaking land over time?
I liked the game. Unfortunately I had a bug so that my tiles did not upgrade. Has a lot of potential, with a bit more polish
Great game! it would be better if you added more levels.
A fun little strategy game with great art and pleasant backgound music. I did find it odd you can receive a message that a mine collapsed and you've lost gold, even though I didn't have any gold to begin with...
I loved the style and music, but I found the game way too easy, so I'm wondering if I had a bug? The random events didn't really affect me noticeably, and I basically just captured tiles one after the other until I won. Not really sure what some of the resources were for
Good entry, a bit easy, but it's completely okay for a jam entry. A the UI is good as well!
Solid entry and very nice music. Probably lack a bit of variance and polish but I see a good gameplay loop when I see one.
Good game! The art for the tiles looks great, very reminiscent of tabletop games. The UI is solid, and collecting resources and territories makes for a compelling loop. But outside the action/upgrade costs and occasional random events, amassing resources doesn't really do much. Maybe if there were uses for resources (like spending ores to arm soldiers), or more upkeep costs in general, then taking territories could require a more specific strategy. And enemy castles taking land over time like others suggested would be welcome.
Nice game, really nailed the oldschool strategy game style. It took some time to understand how resource draining works, but the game kept me engaged.
Plays very well, very satisfying. Probably you ran out of time, but you could improve it by having the player able to select between tiles without using buttons like "cancel" or "next" or "skip" everytime
This was a fun little strategy game. Art and music felt made for each other and gave a nice medieval vibe.
