God, it was the most fabulous game, I don't know if that's how I was supposed to go through, but I used the mouse to find the way to the end just by poking into the void

Nice! I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to command the bugs. Through trial and error, I managed to bump the key off the rock, but I just couldn't figure out how to make the shinies to move around in the darkness. One of them moved at some point as I clicked around, but no idea what I did there. Cool looking, though. :)

Fun concept and nice vibe. I struggled with the commanding controls a bit but the ending 'puzzle' was fun nonetheless.

Very pretty game, as is expected from an Unreal production. The ideas are kinda there, but I feel like it's hidden under a LOT of what feels like very buggy (lol pun) execution: - There are "two interacts" and it doesn't say at all what the differences are, or if the second one is even needed at all. The game needs to be much more explicit about this. - The way the interaction works needs to be much, much clearer. I have to click twice to "activate command mode"? Or something? Why twice? Why not once? And why does it only work *some* of the time? - I can only really tell one bug working, and that's after a lot of weird trial and error. Solving getting the 2nd key was interesting but A) The key was too well hidden/not visible and B) I honestly can't tell if I glitched it. - I guess the raycast was meant to be a lot more robust, sometimes it works and sometimes not. Again, can't tell if I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing or if I'm just following buggy interactions. On the same surface, sometimes I see the raycast dot and sometimes not. - Poking around in the dark with buggy UI isn't great. - Feels like there's some puzzle potential, but it needs to be a lot more robust.

My bad on the “two interacts”, was a bit busy at the time and brain wasn't working anymore.I updated the "Controls" section in the itch.io.

OMG, I want me a little rock that will be like "peep peep" all day long. The sound is cute and satisfying. Great job!

Very atmospheric, I liked the mechanic of commanding, and part with light bugs, and expected more puzzles but it ended too fast. Overall good job. Id suggest add more material on the page, the game is good and deserves to be seen.

Ah looks cool but i dont have a windows machine! Would love to see a gameplay vid

Pretty fun little experience although it was very frustrating trying to get the bugs to listen to you. They could give off a little bit more light so you could see where you are sending them off to, and maybe different keys to select and send them since when I was following it I sometimes would deselect it when trying to send it forwards.

nice atmosphere here, and I would love to see a second iteration with a focus on controls, movement and interaction

Mouse sensitive is too much high for me. The game lookes beautifull.

This game really stood out to me for its visuals and gameplay offered. Really excellent game. Well done!

bentglasstube 2024-10-13 04:34

I really loved the visuals of the environment and the bugs. The maze puzzle in the third room was really fun with the bug guiding you. Both the player and the bug seemed to get caught on the elevation changes between the planks sometimes so I had to sort of shimmy around to make progress but it was still fun. The atmosphere of the cave was really nice as well.

Really nice game! As others have said, the graphics here are definitely the highlight, but I also enjoyed the concept of commanding the bugs around to progress. The last puzzle with the bug lightning up your way was especially cool. It took me a while to understand how the game works, and some more feedback when picking a bug and commanding it would've been nice, but otherwise, good entry!

Really cool visuals! Maybe a bit too dark in places, but it also gave a nice mystique around the animals. The controls were a bit finicky at times. It was a bit difficult to understand exactly how the "animal calling" worked. Maybe some kind of basic path finding could for the animals could be benefitial? Good work!

Very cute, I got to the end! I liked the visuals and lighting a lot. I think the controls were a little wonky and I knocked myself off the dark platform with the bug a couple of times. But I thought the pathfinding effect with the bugs was well-executed and the puzzles were neat!

pikario 2024-10-23 15:11

Cool ideas, and cute little bugs

plasmak 2024-10-23 16:08

Like the concept and the puzzles! The creatures are really cute :) Sometimes I wished there was a crosshair instead of a light on the ground though, since it was a little confusing!
