Hole-eee-cow, that is a REALLY GOOD GAME for a jam! The idea of building your own level to play on is done really well here, with a somewhat original mechanic (I remember Gals Panic and from back in the days) - The spinning part is REALLY hard and I probably wouldn't put it in level one, it's very soulslike lol. Also it can seem to have an ambiguous hitbox. Or it just reaches too far lol - The controls are easy but also not so much at the same time. The space to dash mechanic has gotten me jammed up a few times. I guess git gud. - It's a fun time exploring, I wish it weren't so hard! So some kind of progression that's not that punishing would be good, but that's out of scope for a jam!

A really interesting and unusual game! There was not enough training in the game itself, but everything is at the highest level!
Wow, what a game! I absolutely love the idea of making the player build their own hazards, and my ONLY complaint is that the game over screen doesn't give the player a view of all their towers next to each other to screenshot and share.
In lieu of a screenshot of all my towers next to each other, here's a video of me building all of them and failing to climb them:

Great game! Getting to build your own level makes you feel like you're more in control and also makes you feel more like you played yourself when you fail. I love it! Took me way too long to figure out you can rotate pieces...

Damn, this must be one of the best LD games I've played. Despite it's simple looks, it's a really fun puzzle game. I can't really say anything bad about it, everything ties up together perfectly. Nice job. :)
Pretty cool that placing the level parts also places the "traps" so you need to think how to place them best so that they don't hurt you later. Great game! :) Good job.
Man this is tough! I'm surprised I see no one else talking about the difficulty, so maybe I'm just bad. Though between writing this and playing I'm starting to get better. Eventually I figured out a strategy of stacking the safe blocks while putting the dangerous blocks to the side. Especially the sawblade or whatever it is falling down, you don't want that at the top. My only complaint is that movement sometimes feels awkward, because you need to dash bigger gaps, and it's not always clear when you have to dash and when not. I would've preferred it if it automatically dashed. I like the aesthetic, and the old school style of going game over. Good sound as well. Great game Hacksaw!

Man you always make the best little puzzle games lol. I kind of wish the dash was automatic when needed, but I appreciate the challenge. Planning ahead was absolutely vital when placing the blocks.
I was fighting for my life to get past day 3 but damn that's a fun and addicting game! Really well polished, even more impressive it's compo!
Wow that's a really innovative concept. I really enjoyed thinking about how to build my blocks and my route once it's finished. It took me some time to figure out the game and how to play it but once I did, it was a really interesting experience. I think a small tutorial would've helped this so much. But overall really cool entry.

combining an obstacle course with tetris, this might jsut eb my favorite concept of a game, and I also am really bad at it! I had a ton of fun messing about tho!

Fun and addicting! The idea of making the player make the level they have to complete is absolute genius. It adds an additional layer of challenge as the player doesn't just have to think about how to complete a level, but also how to build it to make it as easy (or as hard) as they'd like.
Moving around the levels is also super crisp, and feels really fun.
All around, a really good job!
I really enjoyed the sounds; they are quite pleasant. As for the gameplay, I must admit it took me a little while to grasp it. building the path and after walking with the spider is quite inventive and original. it seems simple, but it turns out to be complex because you can create a quite unfeasible path, as was my case most of the time 😄.

Great take on theme, really gives me "little creature" vibes :D On screen instructions and game over tips really made it easy to get into and enjoy instantly
This is so clever! I've been wanting to iterate on a tetris or falling block game for years and could never think of anything more interesting than Wario Woods where you control a character and move the blocks with them. This is so good, so inventive! The blocks form the level and you have to avoid the obstacles! A bit like Ultimate Chicken Horse. And it fits the theme so well too! Amazing work!

I like the overall style of the game, with things like the text effects and death animation it feels like something you'd actually find on an old arcade.
